My crystal ball foresees a winner in the near future.

Most internships are unpaid, the UC system sucks as far as graduating on time. I believe I heard it takes a student at UCSD 5 or 6 years to finish your undergrade. Most of problem for me is that the class I want to take or need to take are only offered one semester out of the year or are conflicting. Right now I'm on track to get my major, minor, and a cert so as far as my class load goes, I don't have a long of wiggle room, so a summer class will kill an extra elective credit opening up room for a potential class I may need to take in the coming year. Summer courses are more of a safety precaution for me. I've yet to have any issues with registration though when it comes to classes filling up. Sophomore year was the worst though as you literally get the leftovers as we were the last ones to register but once junior everything turned around and classes were much easier to get into being one of the first to sign up and now going into my senior year in the fall I got first pick of classes after honor students who are able to sign up a week ahead of everyone else.

I ended up adding a summer course because it looks like I'll be getting a D in one of my classes :( so I'll need an easy GPA buster plus an extra 3 credit hours so I don't have to stress about it next year (last year of college).

Private junior college, thats new to me. I've taken a class over the summer before and it honestly wasn't that bad. In fact it was actually the easiest class I've taken since I only took one I could just focus all my attention on just that one class that I pull off an A. I'm considering taking an extra class this summer to lighten my load in the fall or spring but I really just want to chill this summer though. I'll be deciding here in the next couple of weeks.

Both have their benefits. Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with friends old and new, twitter is great for just sharing random thoughts or activities that your doing. The only real way for either of them to work ideally is when you do have a moderate number of friends especially twitter.

I'm with Tripsis, a table would not help improve his or anyones abilities at creating pixel art. Since pixel art is done pixel by pixel a tablet would be over kill. The only area I would see it being useful is sketching out your lines.

Today was officially the first day of the 2010 baseball season. For me, I'm a big fan of the New York Yankees and my hometown team the Seattle Mariners and today the Yankees lost their first game to the Red Sox. I was a bit disappointed since they gave up the lead in the 7th and I had just talked some mad [cabbage] to a friend ha. So who are your favorite teams? And what kind of expectations do you have for this year?

I'm a fan of Sony and Lenovos when it comes to windows operated machines. They cost a little more $$$ but I think for their quality its worth it.

Well the main contest is still going. Once all the entries are in we will narrow it down to 10. Then we'll open it up to everyone to vote for their favorite (out of the 10) and the top three will get special ranks. As far as Das's little side contest, thats his thing, but I would expect everything to be done and over with sometime next week.

Remembering threads from a year or 2 ago is now trolling? Bleh. I've learned that all countries in the world has it's fair share of idiots I've learned the joy that is anime I've learned to type properly and to always make an effort to correct spelling mistakes and grammar. Like the other "non trolls" in this thread, OT has made me rethink all of my morals multiple times in subjects like religion, drug use, and politics. I never made a claim to whom I said was a troll and who wasn't so please don't jump to conclusions.

Knowing you went for a simplistic tag makes it work but my first impression was that it was "boring". I'm also not a huge fan of anime renders so that is also why I'm not the hugest fan.

You guys know each other in real? Very cool, I didn't respond sooner because the yellow user names yesterday hurt my eyes on the basic ip.board theme so I avoided the forums yesterday. But I like it, it is an interesting perspective but it feels condensed.

I've learned that 60% of you troll, 20% of you try to make an effort and another 20% post thoughtful posts. I'm probably being fairly nice with those percentages too and how I see myself as a user first I thought I should be honest about that too. One thing off-topic has taught me or as Tort said, reenforced, is to embrace different view points and an argument is no good unless you have the facts to back it up.

I went to LA this past weekend and this girl that came with had the "droid" sound as her text ringtone and it was so effing annoying cause it would go off at ridiculous hours of the night. "droid" "droid" "droid" .. I'll never forget it.

When I used to use a PC I was pretty skeptical about defragging my comp. It always kinda scared me but you could always do it over night as I know it does take some time to do.

I know someone who though the Google prank was real. Other then that all I saw was a bunch of fake facebook relationship status changes. I almost felt like it was the only "prank" girls knew how to do tbh, it was almost sad. Would have been funny if the bar I went to tonight pranked everyone by saying 50 cent beers and charging full price instead. That would have been something.

No, on the PS Store there is a section for downloading films. A bit late of a reply to this, however.. You can watch the film as it is downloading, if you bring up the download, there is an option to play whilst downloading. Did not know that.
