I'm really looking forward to the release of SC2 for macs. Most of my excitement comes from the fun and joy that the first game brought me growing up. It was so much fun, I how this new installment will live up to the first. I still can't believe that you never played the original SC Nadril.. I just can't.

It's been a couple years since I was in high school but my the schools had the basic general rule "no use of electronics" but it really depended on the teacher. Most teachers never cared as long as people would text and what not at appropriate times. I personally, find it distracting to myself but if I'm sitting in a huge lecture hall, I'll text, their boring as hell, but if I'm in like a 30 person class I'll try not to text as it is just simply rude to the teacher. But I do agree with your high school's rule, they are only trying to help the students in the long run.

I'm an idiot and went and worked out after just eating dinner. I had to cut my workout in half partly to do with obtaining a huge stomach ache.. just means twice as hard of a workout tomorrow.

That's cool! I love all the colors and the dragon is just awesome! The only thing I would probably chance is to make the sun a bit more noticeable, I was looking at the sky and thought to myself "Wheres the sun? (insert 5 second pause) Oh. There it is." But cool though, I like it. :)

One music thread and we need a subforum suddenly? If covers shouldn't be posted, then surely a lot of the images graphic artists use should also be disallowed, they didn't create them, they are merely altering them. No idea why people are arguing about this, it seems simple to me. :razz: The Gallery can cover music created by our users, this music was created by a user, therefore has been posted. Sure, it is a cover, but a lot of songs nowadays are covers. @pirate_felix, is it possible to twist The Memory Remains into a piano version? :eek: Well, as you can see, there are probably more people that are confused, like we all are, on whether they can post it here or not. The gallery boasts 50%. How is a cover 50%? And, no alot of songs arn't or atleast not what I listen to, contemporary wise. I really don't see how you could possibly be confused.. but I'm going to put it this way if we start seeing a sudden increase of music related posts in the gallery we'll look into a better solution aka a subforum. That is basically how we decide if a subforum should be created or not based off the demand for one but all this over one harmless post by Felix; just let it be and if you have a song or something you'd like to post feel free to share.

I don't think it would have any new affects on the game since it happened before. I hardly doubt that any new wave of players that come through miniclip would be as noticeable as it was before because back when it first happened Runescape's general population was much small. Its like a premiere of a new movie, opening weekend is going to generate the most profit. Each following week is typically never going to be as strong as the opening weekend. I hope my metaphor was clear. :unsure:

A gallery is typically a place to showcase art and music is art it is fine that he posted it here. The Gallery is really kind of the place to discuss critically the creative process. It could really go in many different places it really just depends on where you want to share it and considering The Gallery is more of a niche group it makes sense to why someone would want to share their "art" here rather somewhere else where they might not be as well familiar with. I only listened to the first minute, because I really need to work on my french, but it sounds really good! Great job! They would post the things themselves so I don't see why it' so horrible the worst that could happen is they get hacked. The thing is that they can't get hacked. If they got hacked they would receive all sorts of negative criticism and one thing any government does not like is negativity. I also think some of you are missing the key term private sector as in corporations not owned/run by the government. Personally if anyone resulted to relaying important information social media they are idiots. Not everything needs to be in the public domain. There is also enough attention on political actions here in the US that if anything important happens it is already posted by creditable news sources and most often shared through social networks, which in the end is better for the people and the government. The answer is not social networking.

I think I'm going to take tonight off from my 2 week workout plan. Kinda bummed since this would be day 4 or my 2 week plan but I have a French oral midterm tomorrow and I figured it is another reason to let my knee get better.

Moved. I don't thing so. If we were to create subsections for ever genre of discussion, off-topic would basically turn into forum of entirely subjections. Everything doesn't need to be properly categorized.

Not going to lie, this is one of the most [developmentally delayed]ed things I've ever heard. It makes no sense to why the government would EVER trust social media to relay information to private sectors.

Got about 35-45 mins in at the gym, got a little confused on what time I started, but day 3 of my two week workout plan. I focused solely on upper body because my right knee random started killing me after my last on the bike ride home.

Completed day 2 of two week workout plan. Pretty good workout, I'm pretty sure I got in every major muscle today and a couple extra sets on upper body and abs.

I'm not a fan of either the Lakers nor the Magic but I'm glad the Magic got the win today against the Lakers. First time Lakers have lost three in a row in like three years or something. Looking forward to the Cavs game tomorrow, should be another good game, hopefully James plays this game.

I've been really slacking working out my abs so today I made a note to three sets of ten reverse crunches and my god did those kill! I'm going to try and add them into my daily routine now since I've neglected them for nearly six months. Also I've been spending a bunch of time working on my chest and shoulders. So far I've liked the results. For the next two weeks I'm going to try and get 45 minutes in at the gym each day apart from 3-4 times a week.

Honestly I agree with the punishment. The kid was told to not do it, he had plenty of prior warnings to stop, his behavior made others feel uncomfortable around him. Yes, you could probably sit here and argue that they could have settle with a less "harsh" punishment but at the end of the day suspending the kid is best way to get through to the kid that violence is not ok under any situation even if it is pretend because could get his hands on a real gun are start pointing it at other students.

I actually own both, technically, I built a computer in high school that runs windows, but I rarely use it since I don't live at home.. Ever OS has its ups and downs. Only OS I've really hated was Vista. 7 seems pretty cool but I've yet to use it. I personally just prefer the Mac OS, its a lot more user friendly imo. http://store.apple.com/us Best place to learn about the different Mac models and which every model you get really depends on how much money you have to spend. So if you do go with the Mac just get the best that fits your price range. I would personally get 15 inch 2.8ghz MacBook Pro if I was getting a new laptop or the better 21inch iMac or the quad-core iMac if I wanted to go all out.

I like, I actually paint something like that a long time ago and entered it in an art contest. Took me a minute to make out the sun, I couldn't figure out what exactly it was.. Thought it was clouds at first but clouds don't make such a arch ha.

I don't think it would be Brooklyn's Finest because he would have mentioned police but is the only movie coming out this month that involves a gang but I can't really think of any movie that is coming out this month that deals with gangs in London. Also since you said 16+ rating I'm assuming you don't live in America so it could be some foreign film I don't know about.

Luckily I now have a slim PS3, I didn't have to worry about that nasty issue, but I've already lost all my saves from my old PS3 breaking I could really care less about my trophies. Glad it's fixed though. Been playing a lot of MW2 lately, I never see party invites until I quit the game or the invitee is offline.

You are saying I will need a Desktop to use this effectively?? Also, the MAC book pro, is pretty much a mac laptop right? I really have no clue about anything when it comes to MAC but I have always been interested in trying. Check out this video, this is kind of the set up I was looking for: Can you explain the setup he has a bit more in depth? lol Is the wireless net thing needed for a MAC's? A MacBook Pro is basically Apples higher end laptop but with the recent line of MacBooks and MBP they all look the same so the only real difference is the specs. You should be ok with any Mac though. Like Laura said the Apple Airport is just Apples fancy wireless router, which you don't need. Other then that his setup was basically TV, HD PVR thing, macbook and a router.

I actually tried out Chrome today and surpisenly it isn't working very well with tip.it (causing some sort of error within the browser), so looks like I'll be sticking with Safari a little longer :P
