There's not a lot more detail he could give short of listing specific items to merch (he did make some suggestions at the end). The problem with that is that not every item works the same way for everyone. This is an excellent beginning for those interested in trying to solo merch, but don't quite now how. Well done. :thumbup: The only thing I would add is this: Never invest more than you're willing to lose. Any item could crash at any time and you could find yourself losing big.

Unfortunately, unless you've got an old friend who retired with one willing to log in for 2 minutes and sell, you're not going to be able to buy a phat for pure cash, and even with other rares to trade it will cost you nearly 3 times the G.E. rate. The hoarders/rare traders will try and get your soul in exchange for one. I want to buy a white phat myself, but the more I look into it the more discouraged I get about ever having enough cash or rare trades to be able to afford one.

No. How is it fair that a level 138 can get 500M+ to a typical level 40? I'm just saying that one should be able to link accounts from the same IP addresses of creation or be able to prove that both accounts are owned by the same person. And transferring 500M+ is risky enough using the drop method anyways before limits were introduced, god forbid you lost connectivity to the servers. It's just too easy to abuse. Not to mention against the rules as you would then have two accounts running on the same comp at the same time being controlled by the same person and interacting with each other. FYI: drop trading between accounts is also against the rules.

Don't mind xxxgod, he's not a fan of using the LRC for powertraining. He got his 99 less than two months before the LRC update, so he doesn't think it's a "proper" way to train Mining, and is very upset that it has lowered the respectability of getting the 99. Personally, I thought it was a long overdue update needed to bring Mining on par with Fishing and Woodcutting. My only complaint about the LRC, besides it being member's only, is that it messed up my chance to be one of the first 5000 with the 99. :wall: Not much to be done about it, though. I'll be happy if I can make it into the first 10,000. 200-250k a day is still really good, btw. :thumbup: That's about what I'm getting a week playing an hour a day in F2P.

That particular article was about known bugs/glitches that have already been fixed and merely discussed how they had been abused in the past. OT: Perhaps this isn't really a bug, but a partial implementation of a future plan to allow items to be taken from Dameonheim. *crosses fingers and wishes really hard*

Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence in F2P due to the low number of good training spots and high number of players/bots (especially when mining). Very little can be done about it except to either leave or regularly beat them to the resource so they leave.

It's Monday, so that means it's weekly update time blog fans! First, let me say thanks again to everyone for their support and kind words. Getting a 99 in F2P is hard, and getting it in Mining is even harder (although, tbh, getting it in RC is even harder than that). You guys are awesome for putting up with my nonsensical ramblings. <3: I got over 400k Xp last week (once again, xp tracker ftw! :thumbup: ) so I'm now over 41% of the way to 97. Being off sick a couple of days really helped that, so I doubt I'm going to make that much this week. I'm doing my best to stick to my target of 1 hour a day (~200-250k Xp a week), so I'm hoping to reach 97 in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I shall regal you all with musings and ramblings to keep myself sane and maybe bring a smile or two along the way. My biggest news is that we added a new member of the family over the weekend. [spoiler=Everyone, say hello to Maggie.] Isn't she adorable? <3: She was a birthday gift for my girlfriend. You can read my other blog entry for more info and a couple more pics. She likes to sleep on my feet in the mornings while I play. :^_^:

Not necessarily. If I had turned off chat/trade/private, or had them set to friends, it's simply because I don't want to interact with other players. Following me around isn't going to change that. I'm just going to continue to ignore you. You can tell if someone's a bot while mining if they follow you around the same rocks without getting any for more a few minutes without reacting. When they follow you around for an hour without getting anything (which I see almost every day btw), you can be pretty sure it's a bot.

Amen, brother. If I wanted a game full of bots, I'd play MapleStory.

Why not go for fm with maples instead of willows? I checked your stats and you'd only need 2/3 the amount of logs for a little more than twice the price (~4M for maples vs ~2M for willows).
