  1. Welcome to TIF! :)
  2. Good to hear from you again Ezk. Congrats on the levels. Now try not to wander away again. :P
  3. Best. Update. Ever! ...I kept trying to write something else witty and encouraging, but that pretty much says it all. lol :P
  4. Good job, TT. Getting your foot in the door is always better than getting it in your mouth. :P True, but that doesn't mean you have to bleed to death from it.
  5. Setting the obvious legal definitions aside? Personal morality and belief, which is hard to quantify and different for everyone.
  6. Well done as always Dan. I love your videos.
  7. Considering how screwed up American children are nowadays, I'd have to say yes. :P
  8. Congrats! I did most of my early Mining levels while at home sick. It's a wonderful way to pass the time.
  9. Nicely done. I'm glad to hear your moneymaking is working out. Good luck with Range and DG.
  10. Powermining iron with urns in the hobgoblin mine is the fastest, but if you don't want to mine in the wild then either Rimmington or the Dwarven mine near the resource dungeon is your best bet. If you use the Dwarven mine you can also bank all the iron without much loss of xp.
  11. You go girl!
  12. Dug out my copy of Tank Police last night. I'd forgotten how funny it was.
  13. Lesbian drones! *headslap* Why didn't I think of that?
  14. As I understand it, players aren't automatically removed from the hiscores when their membership runs out. Jagex seems to do purges every few weeks.
  15. Sure it is. Homosexuals want the definition of marriage changed so that they don't feel like they're being discriminated against by being denied the right to marry, and heterosexuals don't want it changed for really no other reason than "that's the way it's always been" (which wasn't a valid reason against minorities and women's rights either). Seems to me that it's the hetero side of this argument that are the insecure ones.
  16. Are heterosexuals so insecure that they can't contemplate redefining the common language?
  17. It does in the main game, I don't see why it wouldn't in 07 as well.
  18. Since you asked so nicely, I shall spin for you an epic tale of vanquished foes and weeping widows left in my wake... ...or the less than epic tale of how I continued to stand along the banks of the Lumbridge river hauling trout and salmon to their deaths. Fish leave widows, right? :P Now that the finishing competition is over I am pleased to announce that I gained a total of 3,773,233 xp and 17 levels! Hopefully the next one is either Cooking or Crafting so I can get them up into the high 80's as well. The end of the comp also means that it's image dump time (also because lego demanded MOAR LEVELS) so here's what I got over the last week: [hide=84 Fishing] [/hide] [hide=85 Fishing] [/hide] [hide=86 Fishing] [/hide] [hide=87 Fishing] [/hide] [hide=88 Fishing] [/hide] As we all know by now (and if you didn't I'm sure you noticed it in the last two pics) Jagex, in their infinite wisdom, recoloured the stat boxes for the mems-only skills to a bright gold which makes them stand out more and makes the entire stats tab ugly as hell. It also, as pointed out by someone in my clan (sorry, I don't recall who :(), looks like a middle finger. The symbolism in that discovery is inescapable, although I really doubt someone at Jagex had planned that far ahead when deciding on the layout of the skill boxes. Still, ugly and distracting as it may be, it's not actively interfering with game play so it's just one more thing we'll have to get used to. Now I shall wander away from the river and back into the G.E. so that I may continue with my quest for 99 Smithing. Since I'll be superheating again, my level gains will be, for obvious reasons, considerably less in the immediate future. I'm hoping to make 96 smith in another week or so, but that's going to depend on how much time I have to play. The upgrade project I was so involved in at work back in the fall is starting up again next week, but there's only a handful of sites left to do and only scheduled for next week so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm definitely looking forward to the extra overtime it will bring in. Ever since Christmas things have been incredibly slow at work and if it wasn't for my tax refund I'm sure I'd be looking at having at least one utility cut off by now along with the rest of them by the end of April. Being an adult really sucks sometimes. Anyhoo, that's enough about my sad pathetic life. I'm going to take a break from RS for the rest of the night, watch some TV, and go to bed early. ...dag. It really does sound pathetic, doesn't it? Being single also sucks sometimes.

    Congratulations!
  20. Fair enough. Not spectacularly great benefits unless you've got a lot of extra cash to contribute to things, but benefits none the less.
