I'm at my third site since Wednesday that got water into something they shouldn't have just because they were cheap SOB's and didn't have the snow cleared from their lots properly. They actually buried the storm drain here. :wall: You should see the lake I had to wade through just to get to the tanks. Now I have to wait for a vacuum truck to get here and suck over 5000L of water from the tank. They've been down since yesterday afternoon, but Shell didn't want to pay double time to have someone go out at the time. I'm curious how much the savings on snow removal has cost this site so far.

The boss they said was going to take groups of like 6-10 people? It's been out for what, an hour? :wall:

Considering our currencies have been pretty much at par for years now that's freaking ridiculous. We all just got used to it back in the 90's when there was a huge difference (US $1=CAN $0.50) and prices never balanced out again.

So now the higher your combat is, the more xp you get? It sounds like they didn't remove the nerf, they just reversed it. Why penalize the rest of the team for having a skiller, or even someone of a lower combat level, with you?

Ouch. I ruined a pot (and almost set the kitchen on fire :oops:) letting the rice boil too long once. That was the last time my ex-wife let me cook anything that wasn't prepackaged and microwavable until she moved out. :lol:

It's a deep philosophical debate I've had with myself more than once throughout my life, mostly during bouts of depression as a teen. Questioning the very duality and contradictory nature of life makes me wonder why more people don't go completely insane. It's also made me wonder if we're actually all insane and the sane ones end up in the nut house because they can't cope with the reality of the world around them. I never did come up with any good answers though, sorry. You make a good point about school though. I have a job, and since leaving high school I don't think I've used any of the things I learned in my math, science, chemistry, physics, gym, music, drama, English, history or geography classes. Hell, I learned more practical skills in the Boy Scouts than in high school. Outside of much needed social skills (without which I'm sure I'd have punched out, or been punched out by, more than one of my clients), what is the point of high school except to get a piece of paper that says you went there? And Gabe, what's wrong with being alone?

Heaven forbid Hollywood portray relationships in some kind of normal way. You know, where both parties have faults (but not to comedic excess) and can get angry with each other and then resolve it without violence/infidelity/misguided pranks. TV producers do realize that not every woman is either an ad exec or waitress, right? That men can have both brains and brawn without having to sacrifice one for the other? That confident and self-assured people are not always conceited jerks? That someone can live by themselves without some burning desire to be in a relationship (without being an antisocial, computer obsessed nerd)? Is it any wonder that people are confused on how relationships really work? Their parents try to tell them one thing, while everything they see on TV or in movies tells them another.

I'll take straight cold over windchill any day. Wind (and damp) sucks the energy out of you much faster than straight weather does. Congrats! :thumbsup:
