Not sure how much is just taxes, but all the deductions off my paycheck (taxes, employment insurance, pension, etc..) add up to about 41% and it's even worse when I have a lot of overtime. Quebec taxes are ridiculous. Fortunately, I live in Ontario so I get huge refunds every year. :grin:

Today my ex-brother-in-law and his wife had their third child. It's the first girl (both he and I had two boys already) so everyone's pretty happy about it. You know what I'd love more? Not having to pay the refunded amount to begin with and not falling behind on bills to need a reset. Yeah, that would definitely be better. But it seems unlikely that Quebec is going to redo their tax laws, and even less unlikely that the Canadian government is going to lower our taxes in general so I guess I'm stuck.

Not necessarily. One of the people is often also the producer and so isn't being paid directly for having sex. The point Rpg is making is that in both cases a woman is being paid to have sex, but pornography is legal. I'm not entirely sure why though. No one has ever really been able to articulate the difference to me without it circling back around to prostitution.

It's just always been the way we've looked at it. If you pay for membership, for what ever reason, even if you never set foot on a members world, then you're no longer considered pure F2P. The trial membership has strained things enough without trying to consider exceptions for buying mems to get around the new trade limits.

Thanks, lego. :) Turns out I had less time than I thought the last couple of days. :( As promised though, here's the new pics: [hide=71 Fishing] [/hide] [hide=74 Cooking] [/hide] [hide=75 Cooking] [/hide] After I finished cooking all the lobs I'd fished, I was only a few thousand xp away from 75 Cook so I bought a couple inventories worth and finished it off. :grin: I'm going back to superheating for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to get 93 Magic and 94 Smith before the next skill comp starts. Then I'll be off to the forests to woodcut for a couple of weeks. It's not very afk'able, but it's not nearly as connection intensive as DG. My connection issues seem to have calmed down for now, but with this old laptop you never know.

What would you say if a F2P Pure was to buy 1 month of membership in order to lift the trade limits, but not log in during that month? Then by any definition they are no longer pure F2P. Otherwise, we'd all buy a month just to get our favorite skillcapes. :P Even before the trial controversy, that was a rule set in stone within the community. Buying a month (even if you didn't go on members worlds) meant you were no longer "pure" F2P.

Anyone making a new F2P account at this point will be stuck with trade limits. It's just one more way they try to entice people to buy membership.

As there is no way to avoid getting the trial, as long as you don't log into a members world (and thus have absolutely no way of using any of the membership advantages) then you're generally still considered pure F2P. That's the qualification for TFS, and, as I understand it, the Top 250 list as well.

Doesn't the very nature of gym class preclude doing it online?
