That could be a sign that the detector isn't working properly and needs to be replaced. Back in high school I was dating a girl who had that same problem. The smoke detector in the hall outside the bedrooms, which were right down the hall from the kitchen, would go off if you boiled water (literally), but when her sister left a candle burning in her room (right beside the smoke detector) and the papers on her desk caught fire it didn't go off even with smoke rising right onto it. If we hadn't been sitting in the next room when it happened, the whole house could have gone up. Needless to say, her parents went out and bought a new one that very day.

I started rewatching Naruto the other day. I can't stand the English voice actors, so I have copies of the original Japanese with subs. It's just as good as I remember, but I had forgotten that if I watch more than 5 or 6 at a sitting I start getting really motion sick from trying to read all the subtitles.

Distracted, you should really see a doctor about that. You might have an ear infection, although if you're anything like me those are also accompanied by excruciating pain. It definitely sounds like you have some kind of inner ear problem and should get it looked at.

Perhaps someone should explain that to Hollywood. :P

Thanks Marquis. :) It's been a few weeks now and unfortunately due to my connection issues I've only gained one level. [hide=67 Dungeoneering] [/hide] The whole thing really put me off of playing, so I've been doing less and less but I was bound and determined to at least finish the level. I'm going to go back to superheating again for a while. The connection issue didn't affect it too much before, so hopefully it hasn't gotten any worse. Here's hoping that next month's skilling competition is something afk'able. :lol:

For physics and the advanced maths we were given handouts when we walked in with the formulas on them. The teacher (it was the same one for physics and two of the maths) felt it was more important that we understood how and when they were used than memorizing them.
