Have any Runefest questions for Jagex?
You mean to teleport? There is one, it's just at the bottom.

Future Update Discussions
Well, they'd better. Still, it would probably not be that interesting of a quest. It's going to be highly unlikely there's a boss here. Unless we get to fight something like the Love TriangleTrio. If you were looking for a boss I heard there's this thing called dungeoneering...

So....anyone completed strange rock statue yet?
... People were seriously still thinking it offered some kind of reward? Everyone was so desperate to know that a few days after the initial release Mod Emily stated that it was only a cosmetic reward, the xp from turning in the rocks was enough.

Dungeoneering: Bindery
That's why I said good teams and not pro teams. I know the really really good teams can go that fast but the average rush ends up being 40-60. Whenever I go with my friends we usually take our time and get/kill everything but when I'm going for xp, rushing is the only way.

Dungeoneering: Bindery
Rushing just comes down to personal preference. I too used to be one of the people who despised rushing and didn't see the point of a hood. If xp/hr doesn't matter much to you, then I would say stick to solos or find a 117 team. If fast xp does matter to you, try what I did: rush a small c6 dungeon solo. That is, only kill monsters in gd rooms. You really don't need as much preparation for bosses as you might think. After you feel comfortable, try some mediums. I used to take about 40 minutes to solo a medium, but rushing takes less than half that time. Something else I realized too, even on a 5:5 large, the level mod doesn't matter much at all. Think about it, even getting 0% on 70k xp is only 7k less than what you would have spent probably 10-15 minutes on. Especially considering good teams can do larges in 40-60 minutes it really isn't worth it in the long run. But if you ever want to do 5:5 large rushes a hood is basically a necessity. Take it from someone who got constantly piled by being the only one without a hood for a long time, [cabbage] sucks. =)

120 Dungeoneering Finally Reached!
While it certainly is a different style cape from everything else in the game, regular skillcapes appeal to me more. I'm curious to know what else can come from being a true skill master of dungeoneering.

19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
Admittedly I wasn't using any food, but I still died twice to stomp on c1 due to him blocking stones/crystals.

Hmm, I haven't logged out and it's mysteriously changed back...

19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
Is it just me or is most of the new music glitched? Also: just noticed that my objective tab message changed from "you will be a master of slayer and could wear the skillcape" to "you will be able to slay stalkers within Daemonheim". What this means, I could not say.

The best skill in the game
My favorite three skills are probably (in no order) Slayer, Construction and Dungeoneering. I think the reason I'm drawn to Slayer besides the money from drops and clues is simply that fact that I'm able to kill things that the average player can't. Besides that, it's not really that much more fun to kill things because someone told you to. Construction has sort of two sides to it. The actual training of the skill (flatpacks, dungeon doors etc.) isn't particularly fun at all. As a matter of fact, it sucks because it's incredibly repetitive, boring and was specifically meant to drain money. However, designing and building a cool house and dungeon is incredibly fun and I find it very enjoyable, save for the fact that I'm losing tons of money whenever I do it. Dungeoneering is just good fun all around. Finding a good, competent team and the high percentage loss from deaths are just about my only complaints at this point. Oh yeah, and the extreme rarity of slayer monsters. -.- But besides that, who cares if it plays like a minigame, raiding a dungeon and killing cool bosses is great fun. Another point that I don't think many people think about is that the music in the dungeons is actually very good. The boss themes are some of the best in the entire game imo. If you've never bothered to listen to the in-game music before, take a listen to some of the boss themes.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was that there wasn't a high lvl construction requirement. And the requirements for the other construction stuff is pretty weird. Other than that, I've got a new motivation to train Dungeoneering. =)

Luck Streaks
I've had interesting luck. Since Strykewyrms have come out I've gotten 4 SOL but no hexes or focuses. There was one abyssal demon task I did in Kuradal's dungeon where I got 3 whips. There was a trip I did to zamorak GWD where I forgot to turn on CS for a kill and ended up getting Z spear =S I can't ever seem to get anything out of barrows though, and still no D chains from dust devils.

12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
I must say this skill was surprising but I actually liked it a lot. Everything was really fun, until I got in a group with my friends who are all 130+ and we decided to do a lvl 6 complexity dungeon. It was me (135) and 3 others (132, 135, 136) and it was only floor 3, complexity 6. The dungeon itself was 23 rooms and took us over 5 hours to get through everything. Everything still seemed good, get the boss get xp, good night. Then we find that the boss is Gluttonous Behemoth unlike any we've seen before. It's level 613 and wipes the floor with us. It uses magic and melee randomly and can hit over 650, tearing through tier 9 armor and our max melee stats don't seem to matter. This would all be fine if it wasn't for the fact that if you don't block the food, it heals back up to its 16000 lp 500 at a time. So after about 6 hours of being in this stupid dungeon and dying over 15 times each we gave up. tl;dr we met the hardest boss ever and wasted 6 hours.

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
Unfortunately I'm in the "93 slayer without a fire cape club." I spent the majority of the weekend in the fight caves to no avail. This update is like a slap in the face >_> Still, I'm excited about such a high lvl slayer monster and watching a few youtube vids on Jad should help. =) I was a bit irked by how mad some people on the RSOF were about being the caves during an update. I mean, as long as you're not actually fighting Jad, that's what the logout feature is for. >_>
