  1. FLETCHING A complete manual by MstrMonopoly Introduction to Fletching Fletching, the easiest of all members skills to train, is a popular choice for members looking to trim an existing skillcape or get their very first. Whatever your reason for fletching, I will help you get there with this neat little guide. Table of Contents 1. Starting Out: Levels 1-55 [sOFLET] 2. The Middle Way: Levels 55-85 [MWFLET] 3. Finishing Up: Levels 85-99 [FUFLET] 4. Unorthodox Ideas [uNFLET] 5. ???.... Profit? [PROFFLET] 6. Now what? [NWFLET] 7. The Condensed Version of this Guide [CONDFLET][ Starting Out: Levels 1-50 [sOFLET] So, you're a young RS adventurer looking for a way to sit at the bank and laze around. Back in free-to-play, no skill really offered this kind of sedentary activity. But now... The only good way to get from level one to level ten is to fletch arrow shafts. This should take around twenty seconds (figure exaggerated for comic effect). After that, you must fletch longbows until you are level 20, at which point you may fletch oak shortbows. At 25, switch to oak longs and at 35, switch to willow shorts. At 40, switch to willow longbows and at 50, switch to maple shortbows. I This whole process may cost upwards of 100,000 gp... I would highly recommend starting off with at least a 1M cash pile before starting to fletch anyway. Beginning at 54, though you have a whole variety of options, which should make training fletching a lot less boring. The Middle Way: Levels 55-85 [MWFLET] Bolts The kind of bolts that one would be training on are either broad or mithril bolts. Broad bolts require Slayer Points to purchase, but give phenomenal money. In fact, fletching broad bolts can give up to 1M per hour. However, the experience they give is variable and relies heavily on the use of MouseKeys. Without MouseKeys, you will not make nearly as much money per hour and will get xp rates close to half of what they are with MouseKeys. Basically, I'm going to put every method I know of into a little box that should tell you everything about it, as well as my own highly subjective opinion. Fletching Method #1- Broad Bolts Money/hr: You can make ~6k bolts from (unf) bolts in an hour. Therefore, the formula we have here is 6000(Price of bolt - price of bolt (unf) - price of feather) = x Xp/hr: 90-180,000 AFK rating: 0 Recommended if: You value your time at about 1M per hour and can deal with the constant clicking required. Fletching Method #2- Metal Bolts Money/hr: You can make ~6k bolts from (unf) bolts in an hour. Therefore, the formula we have here is exactly the same as the one above. Xp/hr: 150-300,000 for Mithril, 220-425,000 for Adamant AFK rating: 0 Recommended if: Mithril or Adamant Bolts (unf) are actually buyable from the GE. If not... don't bother. Also, you have to value your time at significantly more than 1m/hour. This isn't too hard if you can boss hunt effectively. Arrows Fletching Method
  2. Is that revenue or profit? My revenue is more like 50+ million, but I've spent a lot of that on balls.
  3. Bandos top is greater than pros by a very minor amount, or that's what I would guess, anyway. Tassies and pros legs are about even. To all you naysayers... Soul Split is necessary for tanking Beasts. Soul Split and a Uni, too, but that's not too important. I'd rather stick to low-def, high-offence armour like the Rune Defender and pray the task.
  4. If you ever want to get a high total level, Slayer is the only way to go. But if you want good money, get 99 melees on AZ's ASAP and go boss hunting. With farm runs in between. BTW, I'd estimate ~25-30m to 88 Slayer.
  5. Yes, you should.
  6. Just wanted to clear something up... I seem to have gotten Bloodvelds an abnormal amount, this probably accounts for my rather high xp.
  7. I value my time at ~1M an hour, so void is juuust barely worth it in my opinion- and that's if I was to use it only for this. Thanks =D
  8. That you would, perhaps, but it's still risky, at least 5+ million. Then again, you could make that in like 2 hours of solo Bandos.
  9. its faster easier on the mind/wrist to bank at shilo then to drop. There's really no point in fishing for cash until Rocktail, so you should probably just barb fish or Shilo bank (it's a LOT easier).
  10. I'm ready to start chinning part-time. I'd like to know if void is worth getting or sticking with armadyl chest / black d'hide chaps is alright, and which site is the best to use. Also, will ~40M get me 99 range from 84 with about 120k xp to go? This is my budget, if the cost is over 40M I'll go park my ass at Aviansies for a little while more.
  11. Max out Attack, Strength, and Mage, as well as getting 95 Prayer. Then mage/melee hybrid.
  12. I <3 botters, they make raw materials so much cheaper and 99 range so much easier =D But botting yourself is lamez0rs.
  13. Lol yeah, I only use piety on metal drags and sometimes abyssal demons because it takes too much attention and clicking with prayer pots.
  14. My stats aren't that much better than yours, save for the higher attack and slightly higher strength/summ. Fire cape... do it regularly. It's better than no skilling by a lot.
  15. How are you only getting 15k experience an hour? I'm getting ~20k using cannon on like 2 tasks. I wouldn't stop slaying, otherwise, you're wasting melee experience later. EDIT: Looked at tests, actually getting closer to ~22k.
  16. I was merching it for the profit. But I don't think it's being merched by a clan.
  17. Fastest Farming: Do multiple tree runs in one day, should be enough by itself, farm herb/fruit trees on the side for some $$$ Herblore: Make (unf) pots into potions Least Expensive Farming: Herbs, one fruit tree Herblore: Clean herbs, make superattack mixes 1m cost: Farming: Farm herbs multiple times a day and do some fruit trees Herblore: Clean herbs, make superattack mixes.
  18. The secret is to plant avantoe
  19. Now that I have 70 Herblore, I'm looking to get into the herb cleaning market. Which sort of herbs are best to clean, and could anyone provide me with helpful links/tips? Thanks.
  20. Right now, if you have 80 Herblore, making range mix (2)'s are great junk. Profitable herblore xp if you do it correctly.
  21. Lol. If you're not a pure, which I assume you are, train attack and def a little more. I think the best would probably be to use a dragon scimitar on living rock creatures.
  22. I'll second the aviansies suggestion, it's good-not-great profit but lots of fun and you can camp there for ages with Bones to Peaches.
  23. No Ectofunctus. NO ECTOFUNCTUS. NO NO NO NO NO. Use a gilded altar, preferably your own.
  24. A budget setup for ya: Whip, Barrows, Glory, Rune Defender, Neiti Helm, Dragon Boots, Warrior Ring, Barrows gloves. Pray 10% strength and drink super strength and attack pots.
  25. 3:1216, which seems to be near accepted.
