The one thing I always thought was silly is the fact that you don't keep certain items on death... it always seemed arbitrary/unrealistic (by this i mean torso, diary items, etc). One time I lost ~10M at TD's because some dude lured 4 of them on me... I was mad, of course, but I got over it pretty quickly. Now I only risk 2m and only bring as many diamond (e) bolts as I need for the trip.
  2. There are three methods to 90. Monks -> high sanity, low xp, decent gp Fly Fishing -> medium sanity, medium xp, low gp Barb Fishing -> low sanity, high xp, decent gp Then just do Rocktail to 99.
  3. Nechryaels are if nothing else terrific xp and will probably cost less than other barraging methods because of increased rune boots.
  4. I hate regular mining. It just takes too much clicking. However, I would like to raise my level up a bit... what's the xp/hr on Shooting Stars at level 66 assuming I have a fairly dedicated CC?
  5. Green - Hydra Blue - Lava or Fire/Moss, whichever is better xp/gp. Remember to make scrolls out of titan pouches! Gold - Barker Toad Crim - Granite Lob
  6. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with summon- it's pricey and relatively slow. But is Slayer that much slower?
  7. Herb runs and Barrows work great.
  8. 135+ Combat 2000+ total w/o Dungeoneering 95 Slayer Actually train magic __________________ Solo hilt from one GWD boss (most likely Bandos or Sara) See 10 sigils at Corp (lol, 3/10 down)
  9. This. +65 ranged def helps you out a lot more than +19 slash. And Whip+DFS > GS, for soloing at any rate. Especially with extremes.
  10. There are sooo few high level updates its laughable. How about high level slayer monsters. 93 isn't high. And skilling isn't supposed to make as much as MH. There is no risk in skilling. Around 1.350.000 people have ranked slayer wich is level 30+ (?). Lets make this 100% of the entire runescape slayer population (wich actualy has more members because everyone with 29 or below is not counted). 22575 people have level 93 slayer or above. (22575 / 1.350.000) x 100 = 1.67% --> This means only 1.67% of the runescape slayer population would have acces to that 93 slayer monster, dont you think that is a little bit ridiculous? You are saying that 93 slayer isn't high, so what do you consider high? level 99? not even 1% of the population has level 99 slayer ((10227/1.350.000)x100=0.76%). The amount of people that has 93 slayer or even 99 slayer is so small compared to the total amount of players that it's logical there is 'not enough' 'high level' content. What is the use for Jagex to release 'high level' content if only 1% of the slayer population (and even less of the entire members population) can enjoy it. Most of the p2p players are not even close. I'm not saying that Jagex should not release high level content, but the problem is that it are the high level players who have united here on tip.it forums so it seems there are loads of people who want high level content. The fact is that you are only a very very small % of the entire rs population. You should not forget that. But the thing is... Let me start off by saying that what I think is high level is 2000+ total level. I'm not there yet, I'm probably a high-midlevel player. I can't do a lot of high-level content. Do you know why I don't care? I haven't done all the mid-level content either! And judging by your quest points I'd say you haven't done it all as well. High level content gives me goals and stuff to reach for. Jagex should make this game for dedicated, not lazy, players.
  11. Small profit, but you have to pay good attention so that you don't waste too much money. If you like going AFK like me then you'll lose a [cabbage]ton with piety, so stick to 10% strength.
  12. Go get 85 slayer then camp Abyssal Demons  Or better, just do Dusties to 99 melees.
  13. Added, I don't know too much about Dungeoneering so help would be greatly appreciated here!
  14. Abyssal whips pwn for flipping.
  15. New safespots - near entrance, between the three rocks - that's the one I use anyway. Don't use magic. They are weak to stab only in the slightest sense, whip > any stab wep besides C long. Yes, steel titans hit through prayer.
  16. I have 3 dragonkin lamps and I can't decide for the life of me what to spend them on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. This. If you have the cash lying around, either use it for quick flipping or pray spend.
  18. Claws are AMAZING on the following monsters K'ril Graardor Chaos Elemental TDs Karil / Ahrim All Slayer Monsters Keep 'em.
  19. Firemaking or Fly Fishing.
  20. Two words. Tormented Demons.
  21. Bork and TDs are the only reliable ways. Also good: Dark Beasts, Gargoyles, Cannoning Wallasalkis, Cannoning Aberrant Spectres.
  22. Iunno, Soul Wars is always good. Alching requires zero mental effort. Or you could fire strike the spiders/rats in some place.
  23. to use while I fish or cook just to get free stuff that I can use or sell. sounds like when fishing I should stick to granite lobs, but what about when I cook or summon? or any other skill, non combat related Magpies are the best when you have nothing else.
  24. Lol, which would be better, a DDS or a EE? And I will be using piety, which I use on any tasks that I feel have high defence. I don't use it on stuff like greater demons and hellhounds because it's too psychologically damaging, lol.
  25. I only have 84 summon, but I'm willing to bet that melee is still the better option.
