Sure thing broski Get high herb/pray (turmoil if you have the money) before you spend your money on overpriced (useful, but overpriced) stuff like Bandos or DFS. DFS is garbage unless you do a lot of Arma, and even then I'd just save up for a Spectral.

Used the Rune Wiki's little inventory icons, they look great :thumbup: Axe Man Jack's guide is still pretty good, but it's a little outdated and a little bit biased. For that matter, my guide is a little biased too, lol. I'd recommend using my guide for general Slayering but Axe Man Jack's if you want to get an overview of the skill/exact instructions.

It works, but he still burrows. You have the stats for better monsters than the mole :thumbup:

This guide is fairly out of date but still provides a reasonable overview of Slayer and the methods to train it. Still gets a :thumbup: from me.

After largely finishing my Slayer guide, I've tried to brainstorm for another guide to write. If anyone has any good ideas, I'd be more than happy to hear them =D

Frost Dragon bones are the least efficient bones. Anyways, like the above said use a BoB. Make the left click option "Take BoB" At the current prices, if you can make 3,2m an hour(which is possible with dk-s, td-s, bandos solo and frost dragons) frost dragon bones are more efficient than dragon bones, not even considering the xp you lose. So yeah, if you don't value your time at all, frost dragon bones are the least efficient of them, but if you do, they are the most efficient. When grinding bones(as the op is doing) he would be saving a massive amount of time by using better bones, but he probably has no idea what efficiency is. I know perfectly well what efficiency is thank you very much. Know what something is and actually caring are two different matters all together. We all have different play styles, and mine happens to be less efficient than most. Do I care? Not really. I like to be able to do other things while playing rs. If i cared about efficiency at all, i wouldnt be doing the ecto. But, as it is, I dont care, because i am working on school work and writing a book. So please, no flaming. Broski, using a gilded altar is pretty afkable too. While going from 54-75 (I wanted to use the Blood Runs Deep reward), I was able to write about 1/2 my Slayer guide.

It's extremely useful to be able to Turm/Soul Split when training combat, so I'd get it.

If you do ANY sort of training, I would go with rapier. If you already have maxed stats and stuff, go with maul if you feel like it.

Soul Wars used to be some decent XP because it was AFKable, now there's no point unless you're Ice Bursting or something.

I have pretty craptastic TD stats (only 87 range sticks out as the most damning), but I can get like 20 kills an hour fairly easily. TDs are one of the few boss monsters that you CAN do with welfare gear very effectively - even with bare minimum reqs like 80/80/80 melees and 80 range, it's very good profit/hr compared to other ways of making money at that level.

I'm fairly sure that you can get them assigned from Duradel regardless if you have unlocked the ability to kill them without a Fire Cape. I don't know why you'd use Duradel rather than Kuradal, though.

Armadyl Chestplate could also crash.

I use gold charms, and I'm level 89 =P Consider the alternative, charm hunting. Using pre-banked barker toad pouches is always the best.

Get magic up to 96 for Spellbook Swap and mage/melee hybrid w/ claws.

The "you can't argue because you don't own one" argument is terrible. I don't own either a MacBook Pro or a $35 Indian laptop, but I can guarantee you that the MacBook Pro is a better computer? Why? It has better stats. At 125 attack, with turmoil/piety, either weapon is going to be hitting most of the time on almost any monster. I can get 2-3 with stats probably worse than yours and a whip/obsidian shield, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Chaotic Rapier, fwiw, can probably get 50+ kills with ovls/turm/divine (whip can get 40), and I really don't see the Chaotic Longsword being that much better. By the way, the difference between a rapier and a longsword is exactly 0.6 seconds. In other words, by the time the longsword attacks 100 times, the rapier attacks 125 times. Is the longsword anywhere close to 25% more accurate or powerful than the rapier by itself? No. And with each bonus, the rapier improves because of the higher attack speed (this manifests itself particularly with fixed bonuses like the Ferocious Ring, but also with Piety/Turmoil/Extremes). "When you think about it.. The only damn thing CR has over rapier is Speed THATS IT i see everyone saying based on if i monster had 0 def rapier is better.. What if a monster had 1000 def? woudld you really want to take that toothpick into battle?" Easy there bro. No monster has 1000 def. And fyi, CR > CLS at every boss besides maybe Saradomin, and even then Verac's is ~80-90% as good as CR or CLS. And yes, I'd take a toothpick into battle if I knew that toothpick could absolutely destroy the hell out of General Graardor. "Rapier is not doing [cabbage] my whip already cant do, And thats official.." The strength bonus of the rapier over the whip is like stacking the strength bonus of 5 Zerker Rings onto the whip. Also, rapier can stab. I guarantee your whip can't do that. In the end, your argument comes down to looks. That's fine by me, but I'm secretly loling on the inside because by all indications, CLS = Whip @ Slayer.

I don't do: iron, steel, blue, black or mithril dragons, kalphites, aquanites, living rock people, black demons, jungle and desert strykewyrms, spiritual mages/rangers, suqahs, tzhaar, skeletal wyverns, sometimes greator demons, sometimes waterfiends if I don't want to find a saradomin sword. Range Black Demons, Spiritual Mages, TzHaar, Greaters. You can cannon suqahs and living rocks (ranging them as well). Keep canceling miths, steels, irons. Cancel blues unless you feel like not banking the bones. You can cannon blacks. Cancel wyverns. Keep @ Hells, Greaters, Gargs, Nechs, Abyssals, Dark Beasts, Fire Giants, etc.

Thanks for the compliments, Obtaurian =D I respect you a lot as a pro Slayer, so that means a lot to me. Guide revised. I decided to turn this into a huge, all-encompassing guide rather than a little one.

Yeah I always thought of that myself, to get STR and ATK up so I can get more hits and hit harder when I do land them, resulting in exponential DEF xp. But yeah, never tried it myself either. And sorry for double post guys, but I posted the thank you and then read a bit more detail on some posts : s There no 1 better way to train first. Train attack first and you'll hit more often so more xp, but you hit weaker and take more hits. Train Strength first you'll hit harder gaining more xp but you'll miss more and take more hits Train defence first you'll get hit less meaning less eatting and missed attacks so you get faster xp but you hit less often and weaker. I rarely eat on Slayer tasks. When I do, it's only in multicombat areas where I'm using a combat familiar.

It's not efficient, but if it makes you happy with its AFK-ability, then go for it. I personally prefer Slayer, and will max out Attack and Strength first.

You should bring alchs to dragons.
