An Elitist's View on Crashing
This says it all. That OP is willing to spend hours and hours to a game does not give him more rights than someone who doesn't. And by crashing this person you don't give him the time nor ability to gain exp. efficiently like you once did. I never crash people and I never will, it's just sad and people who do crash make me cry. With crashing you only irritate other people, but if that is what you want... :? Let me guess - you're not a big monsterhunter, are you?

So, I have about 27m
Sell BGS and Guthans, buy some dragon claws and go boss hunting for 95 prayer.

some hunter and prayer questions
There's no point in switching off Ancients if you have 95 prayer. You really don't have to pray on dagannoth or abberant spectres, but that's it. Personally, I cba to use piety there, but if you really want maxed results...

Will the new range prayer be worth it for pking?
It's definitely worth it. Also, train summon plz.

summoning. How combat related is it really?
I'm liking that Aggressive mode.

summoning. How combat related is it really?
That's just.. not true! Tbh woodcutting is probably the most fail skill in the game, lol. That's what he/she said. Woodcutting < all skills means all skills are better then woodcutting, making woodcutting the worst skill there is. xD I have poor symbol recognizing skills. I just figured since the poster was ranked in the top 100 Wcers, she would like it. I guess she's got a ltitle bit of masochism in her.

D Hatchet > Rune Hatchet?
Why are you still cutting logs at 99 wcing?

There's something called a "Steel Titan" that absolutely kills. And I've personally witnessed the pure destruction that even a Geyser Titan can do.

Tip.It Times - 1st August 2010
Why do articles like this not deserve to be on the times? If you have ideas for articles, by jove please say! Please try yourself coming up with ideas for articles for a year then we will see how many 'original' ideas you can come up with. Criticising a public articles topic when you are not prepared to do it yourself is a null criticism. Good articles imo. I agree with the slayer one, but I am one of the shrinking group of players not concerned in the slightest with efficiency and just playing the game to waste time and have fun. On Slayer, for me, efficiency = fun. On other skills, such as Magic, I will happily plop my ass down and watch television while spamming the 5 key.

Bots are making a come-back
What about green dragons? :???: Green dragons are good for nobody. High levels can get better money MHing and low levels can't get any kills.

"Read a guide dude"... *asks question*
Broski, you're yelling at high level players for stealing your spots. Maybe if you asked some questions and started training more efficiently, you'd be high level too

"He got that through botting ofc"
This is why I turned public off @ Fist of Guthix firemaking. I believe my Quest Cape and Penance Master Horn speak to the fact that I haven't been botting =/

An Elitist's View on Crashing
I agree, I just don't like crashing when there are other spots open. That's my only problem with it. I can see 100% where people are coming from it it comes to things like Bandos, because there is almost always people there, so finding an unoccupied world just isn't an option. I feel the exact opposite for a boss like Zamorak though, where it's rarely crowded, even on the high populated worlds. If you crash someone there, you're just doing it to be mean, or are too lazy to spend 2 minutes finding a world (I know Zammy isn't the greatest example, I just used it because it was easy to come up with) Crashing Zammy is just mean.

F2P what should i do?
Be a baller and make fires.

My point was it is rarely a problem, so it isn't "prevalent" like you said it was. Yes it happens, but to say it's prevalent means it's a constant problem, I never experienced this constant problem. I'm confused by your lazy-slaying comment, I never said being lazy was nice, I'm not a lazy slayer, I just haven't experienced the same problems as you apparently, because I was almost never slowed down on my tasks. As for stealing TImmy's spirit mage spot, there's plenty of spots open, and even in the lowest populated worlds, you rarely clear all 4-5 mages near the boss room with a steal titan. There comes a point when you're no longer being efficient, you're just being an ass. (dust devils aren't in the Pollnivneach well btw, I was talking about the chaos tunnel ones) Izenhime, you have higher stats than me. However, I still manage to nearly clear the 4-5 mages near the boss room with only a Geyser Titan, whip, and 91 strength.

I'd just like to point out that sseli is currently writing a guide on Dungeoneering, which serves everyone else BUT himself. I'm currently using this guide and find it very helpful. Could it be that sseli is a help and not a hindrance to the RuneScape community?

Oh no! I've misunderestimated!

An Elitist's View on Crashing
No, it's not a loose term. The best way to make money is, by definition, the elite way to make money. How silly. "Best way to make money" is subjective. "Fastest and most effective" is not. Now, lets end this before you make me have to actually try, mmk? Protip: arguing semantics isn't a good idea

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Bro, even though I could get in 2-3 kills soloing Graardor, I don't. I stay away from spots where high level players crash me all the time. At Tormented Demons, a free world is usually available in a couple of hops, or less. Low-to-mid level players like me shouldn't even bother trying to do some of this stuff. Rather, I choose to make casual money through herb farming, TDs, and merchanting. I haven't heard of anyone crashing herb farming, and that's better money (albeit limited money) than soloing Graardor without a Yak or @ like level 115 anyway.

Runescape today
How's this for a counterargument: It's a game for crying out loud, it doesn't matter if someone has more fake money than you. OP deserves the slur for complaining about something that is entirely in his/her control. Bro, merchanting and farming and dailies ARE lazy money.

An Alternative to Banning
I like this idea. It wouldn't make party hats even rarer.

Where's the Excitement?
The excitement bar has definitely been raised (no more jumping up and down at a gmaul or a pair of d boots), but I'll still jump when I get a whip, dbow, dragon lump, or any cs at GWD. I guess the cutoff is about 1M or so.
