  1. How many charms will I get on a budget of 30M, what setup should I use, and what sort of magic XP will I get?
  2. Some Arma advice: Helm: Verac > Neiti Amulet: Fury > Glory Body: ACP Legs: V Skirt Wep: Rune Xbow Shield: Blessed Spirit Boots: Ranger > Snakeskin (though I personally wouldn't even bother with Ranger) Ring: Archer Gloves: Barrows / Zamorak D'hide Cape: Accumulator > God Cape (for protection only)
  3. I would do hunter. It's easy to train up to 80+ and gives very good money imp hunting.
  4. My lord, that's gonna be slow XP without a pack yak. But if you really like it...
  5. Essentially: Bots are bad for new players since they are in direct competition with each other: picking flax, spinning bowstrings, picking up other resources. Bots are good for older players since they use these materials and spend their time gathering high level materials such as rune or Armadyl Hilts, which will go up in price. Therefore, bladewing would love bots, I would have no opinion, and my level 40 friend would hate them.

Do a mix of Wildy/Ape Atoll so that you don't get bored.
  7. PvM - max attack and strength asap. PvP - max strength asap.
  8. Uh-oh. That's where the trouble lies. I want to profit. Also, I don't mind irons, they also have a chance for a visage. Not blocking them. You're not going to profit at Irons either unless you get lucky with a dragon drop. Hellhounds cost money. Black Dragons when done well don't profit. Black Demons give excellent charms and experience for a slayer task. If you really don't like them, block them, but slayer isn't good money at any rate. If you really need some cash go to CT Green Drags and make some.
  9. Quests should be less about reqs and more about skill.
  10. Using super sets on every task is the best way to go. The only time you would not is at Kalphites if you decide to do the level 20's for no reason. Unblock black demons. Pray melee the entire time while wearing prossy + sw cape and you might even break even given the decent amount of rune chain / rune med drops. They're also fairly good for crimson charms. At your level, block: Iron Drags, Steel Drags, Skeletal Wyverns, perhaps Hellhounds. If you want the most variety, just block metal drags outside of Miths and the Wyverns.
  11. Make gold bars with goldsmithing gaunts, it gives like 70k/xp an hour and is mega-afkable (about 4 gp/xp, so maybe 2m at most for you)
  12. Slayer. Living Rocks are also a really fast/fun option.
  13. Not even close to impossible lol. Solo arma is what, 6M an hour with Steel Titan? That's a phat in 100-150 hours.
  14. Can I really solo rex effectively? Yeah.
  15. I would go as far as to take a spear two tiers lower than the wep you're currently using. And the poison is a huge advantage, right now I've got a gorgonite spear (p++).
  16. Barbarian Fishing all the way. It's much better xp and opportunity cost.
  17. Hey- I've got an EXTREMELY laggy computer right now (a netbook) that can barely handle the game. That said, I'm an addict and need to play. What's the most efficient use of my time - combat is basically out of the question as I will lag out and die once an hour. I've tried fishing monks and chopping trees but that's terrible xp and boring as [wagoncabbage], so does anyone else have any ideas? Leeching wifi is illegal in some countries, and is not safe ~ Jimmy_Jim
  18. 99 Firemaking can be bought with 3-5M and will likely have some sort of use in the next year.
  19. I got 99 cooking in order to win a skills competition in my clan - I gained about 9M experience in cooking alone in the week double clicking sharks/rocktail. And when it was over I was sooo happy that I wouldn't have to do it ever again. Anyway, I would probably advise you to listen to Miley Cyrus "It's not about how fast you get there (noob, yes it is, always use Grimy's spreadsheets), it's not about what's waiting on the other side (extreme pots ftw)" It's the climb.
  20. Indeed, I agree that Bandos is the best choice for those with 99 defence. However, the Barrows armours are cheaper and provide even better defensive bonuses so they are more useful on a lower level. A Fighter Torso is essentially the same (-1 prayer, which is not insignificant) as the Bandos Chestplate on tasks like Greater Demons where you get hit so rarely that a Bunyip overheals you. Could you point out where the grammatical/informational errors are if you have the time? Thanks for your comments and your rating =D
  21. if you have the excess cash, bandos is hands down the best armor, unless you feel like paying 3.5m per 1 hour with vestas... This. Am I going to say that the ~50m required to purchase full bandos is worth it if you have a 75m bank? No. In addition, it's not even the best luxury gear (berserker ring should come first, piety/turmoil/extremes should probably come first). However, the +6 strength bonus really adds up over time - it might save you 10 hours of slaying time, maybe more.
  22. This. I might use a G Lob though as you get way more sharks.
  23. Karil's xbow is marginally more useful at 99 range at low range def monsters because of its attack speed of 7 i believe.
  24. Dragon Claw rushing is ubereffective in FoG, you can kill most people in a couple of piety-d specs if you're high enough level.
  25. Cleaning Herbs isn't noob, I had 93 Herby on my other account all from cleaning herbs.
