The summer is finally here which means more free time... and it's time for the third annual Summer Goals & Achievements topic. What are the goals and achievements you wish to accomplish over the summer? Remember to report back on the final week of the summer to let us know how you go on.

 

My first goal is to finish off getting all my skills to 80 and I'm feeling to get 99 Fishing as well.

All skills 85+

99 mining, agil, rc, smith, maybe fishing too :thumbup:

 

And maybe max my 40 att pure.

to have a ton of fun on runescape, when nothing's happening on the social front irl.

 

That may involve getting 99 slayer, 90+ all skills, getting really rich, completely broke or something else. I'll do what's fun in the moment and see where that leaves me.

My goals are to get all 90+ melee stats, 85 slayer, and 80+ summoning. I will train melee through slayer and use the charms to get summoning. I just need to get attack and defense up (Beth are 85). I have 87 days of membership to do it with :).

It's summer, and yet you find time to sit in your room writing stuff about a video game you no longer play... please explain!

99: Strength, HP, Defence, Range, Mage and Slayer.

 

I was going to go for 99 Mining and Smithing too but I wouldn't have enough time so that's for the fall and winter.

Probably all 90+ but wont make it this summer, is more of a 2010 goal. Also getting stuff like ma ranks for monsterhunting gear.

85 prayer 85 slayer for starters

My main goal this summer will be getting into the top 250 F2P :thumbsup:

All stats 70+, 85 slayer, 88 summoning, and high enough herblore for extremes. I actually made my blog to see if I accomplish these goals this summer :P

From another thread, here are my 2010 goals

 

- 2200 total lvl before a new skill is released (shouldn't be too hard...) Already completed

- 2300 total (if the new skill is release in the first half of the year - expecting 65 in the new skill and 2235 in current skills) I'm 8 lvls short of 2300 and planing on getting it this summer

- 1Bil bank value (I'm not a spender, should be somewhat easy unless everything crash) Bank value is hovering at 800M atm, hoping for 900M by the end of the summer

- All skills 80+ (current skills tearsing and circusing agility, penguining RC + quest lamps and genie lamps, Hunting only when agi gets close, and planning to gather a lot of teak and mahogany planks with patterned logs)

I'm very close to this goal (that didn't include Dungeon), I will make this by the end of august with my weekly strange rocks

- 99 FM, 99 fishing, 99 FM, 99 Fletching, 96 Summon, 90 Prayer, 95 Mining, 95+ Smithing (only prayer is questionnable as I hate spenging on skills - doing the last quest is a must for next year)

99 fish, and fletch achieved already, FM, maybe this summer through strange rocks, 86-87 prayer by the end of the summer, 95 summon by the end of the summer, 94 smith and 93 mining probable

- 325 Mil Total XP (Nothing special, just keeping my current rate) I will reach this before summer's end, so that goal was easy to reach

- 285 QP (or at least While Guthix Sleeps and Blood runs deep done) Haven't quested much, I should, probably won't though... 261 QP atm

- Achieve rank 1000 or better in slayer - Everyone's slaying these days... rank 1450.... new goal is get my best rank ever, so under 1200

- Get better rankings in skills slightly above 99 (getting 100K XP over 99 cooking gives around 30-40K in ranks) - I already got better rankings in fishing, cooking, fletching, farming, magic, WC, the only exception is ranged.

I started to only play when I'm bored. So, in contrast with the previous years, trying play as little as possible. :P

Get a Tome of Frost with Dungeoneering - need like 38k tokens still.

 

Purchase a set of Infinity Robes.

 

Possibly reach 90+ magic.

 

Complete Desert Treasure.

 

I usually just play as I feel like it and summer won't change that :)

Because we can. Who says we can't play at night when the day is over? Maybe some people have nothing to do and want to past the time. I bet you wouldn't say that to someone who is playing a console game... do you see where I'm going?

my goal would be the same as it has been every year i have play runescape and that is play for fun and come what will....

Some I probably won't manage, but I can try:

- 95 Prayer (which I have banked now, finally)

- 90 Slayer

- 99 Melees (maybe. After 98/98/98 I'll be training on controlled to keep HP cape untrimmed for as long as I can) :P

- 96 summoning (and since I currently have enough charms to be 700k away, it shouldn't be a problem)

- 80 Dungeoneering

- 91 Hunter

- All 70+ skills

 

Oh, one more o:

I want 2k TDs solos and 10 Dragon Claw drops total.

80+ in all skills :) I'll probably get that relatively fast, so I'll see what I do after that.

No, not really. Perhaps even less time.

 

I might try getting 99 Fishing. But there's no rush.

I'm a very erratic player, so sticking to goals is very difficult for me. Nevertheless, these might be possible this summer:

 

* Quest cape achieved: Very close to this one, the only thing stopping me is downing Nomad. Currently training Summoning to try and use some combination of tort and kyatt to improve my chances (was just going with a terrorbird before and running out of supplies).

 

* All skills 70+: Very possible. Only real roadblocks here are dung (45 currently) and RC (52, and I hate training the skill). EVerything else is close enough that I could get it in a day's time or so.

 

* 1850+ total: I'm just picking a number out of thin air here. 1800 is too easy, 1900 is probably too hard, so 1850 is a nice medium. If I really get to work on dung and RC this should be no problem.

 

* 75+ Slayer: For Kuradal. Nothing fancy about this goal. Using Kuradal seems like so much win.

 

* Any skill at 90+: For the sheer achievement of having it. Highest are my combats at 83, so I'd have to at least double any XP I have in a skill currently.
