Anyone have an updated voyage configurator? The one I use is from the initial ports and has not been updated.

Hey folks, I just opened a brand new clan with a few friends. If you're looking for a fresh start or just need to get away from the larger clans the best way to do it is helping out a brand new clan. What combat style would you suggest using? I'm just going by what I hear people saying in clan chats and general public chat. I really have no idea lol I also have more than 120m that's just what I would've liked to have spent.

So it's been a long time since I really trained slayer, long before EOC. I've been told I can pratically mage every task now and was just wondering if that is a decent way to go about it, not looking to be 100% efficient but I also don't want to do the opposite. If so, what's a decent gear set to buy for mage slaying? I can spend probably about 100m-120m on armour and weapons so try to keep it around that range please. Thanks.

Low-hp mage pures were the best for low lvl pvp, I remember making a new one everytime my hp got too high to be really effective lol (Not only are the gear/runes/etc.. very cheap and easy to obtain [once people get resources up and running] but they were very over-powered for their level). On another note, personally I think I will also just be doing a diy account on OSS, not interested in competing with the really efficient folks and fighting for ranks so this will be a nice challenge when bored with my main account :)

Are there any estimates as to what price the armours might level off at when they finish dropping?

Can't complain now that they fixed the exp rates, will put it on my list of stuff to do. lol

To be completely honest, if you're a friend of mine or in the same clan as me you'll get a blessing from myself. If you're a stranger no matter what the circumstances you'll not get blessed. I looted plenty of graves in the day at Barrows, DKs and even KBD but never tried giving anyone their items back, if they returned and asked nicely I'd ignore them, if they got mad at me for taking their items I usually just said "Too bad" or ignored them as well. Not to be mean or anything I just don't play RS to make friends or be nice to everyone, as far as I am concerned it's a game and I don't let it go any further than that.

I read this in the beginning of the topic and just wanted to point out in Hawaii we use brah just like you would use dude, friend or buddy. ;) More OT: Words never really bothered me. I almost always have my public chat on friends and private off anyways, yeah, I'm one of those people :P

Well, honor disappeared long before the old wilderness did so I would rather not have the old wilderness back again. I have to repeat some points that have been said already, so called pkers attacking unprepared players and posting about it later like it was a dm or something. I remember the days running around the wildy with my clan and we never attacked abyss runners, agility trainers, clue scroll hunters or anyone not prepared for a fight. We actually took the time and looked for good targets carrying brid gear or the sorts so that the kill was actually worth my time, honestly if they aren't geared you only get 20-30k gp max on most skiller kills. I understood killing them in pvp/bh because you potentially could get millions from a person carrying 100k, they knew they were in a dangerous world anyways. We all know it was the same way since late 2004-ish though, ever since honor fell off the face of RS. I would be thrilled if Jagex left pking to certain worlds only, makes it easier to catch RWT too. I, on the other hand, am all for free trade <3

Meh, I quit combat when I decided to work on my skills and don't see myself returning to combat for these armours/weapon. If I was poor I would camp the new boss just for some good and easy cash while everyone is inflating the prices of the new items. Of course it depends on the overall stats and everything but I could honestly seeing this armour starting at 50m+ a piece outside of the GE, heck.. maybe more. The rest of the updates don't really interest me.

200m in all skills is obviously achievable but I doubt will see anyone make it anytime soon. I wonder what skill Jagex will have coming out next, it could be something that takes as long as Slayer or RC to get 200m which would put a big dent in some of these players. Not to mention that life usually gets in the way of everyone at some point. We've all seen good examples of that over the years RS has been running just by watching who comes and goes on the highscores.

I don't pay much attention to all this usually but I did find it interesting that Zezima has 82 DG and 2458 total level which is obviously only 17 levels from all 99's again and he'd be front page with his 1.2b total experience. Are we seeing a return of an old school #1 coming back to the front pages of the high scores? He obviously won't get past like #12 anytime soon.. probably never because of how far behind he is but just seeing him on the front page again would be nostalgic enough :P

I've been indifferent since I first heard about this possible update. I don't mind either way if old wilderness comes back but I would enjoy free trade again.

Gold might not be worth much anymore but that's only because it has been so easy to obtain for the last 2+ years. With the return of bots and scams and everything else free trade brings with it we'll see gold rising in value, not to what it was before but it'll be worth more than it is right now. I can honestly see certain Scapers paying millions a day to get 200m RC exp in such a faster time compared to any non-trade methods currently. I guess we'll see what happens though.
