    The stuff would probably disappear in 2 minutes if it followed the old rules, so no, the new rules are better.
  2. Is the sword really weakened in multicombat? It only affects the second and third person, the hit from the first is still the original power. So why is it "weakened"? Regardless, when more people complete the quest, this will be used a lot more.
  3. Heh, this will probably give me a reason to play my DS and Wii again. ^^ They better make getting the Chaos Emeralds challenging. The ones in the last 2 Rushes were actually very easy for me :mellow:

    Like I said above, make them hit through/disable prayer along with their special effects (poison, freezing, teleblocking). Give them the ability to run as well, for a limited time obviously.

    Ohright yeah. *immediately thinks of chaotics and zspear* In that case make them resistant to all styles, and all 3 aspects of the combat triangle. Should make revenant hunting much more challenging :thumbsup:
  7. Lol that's excellent. Now if there was a permanent marker tree under Aubury, or a nature rune spawn in a room next to ct green dragons... I miss the old days of luring aggressive NPCs to level 3 bots :thumbsup: As for the portal, yeah it's just a temporary replacement. As soon as it's fixed, bots will crowd around once again.

    The obvious solution is to make revenants more powerful, like hitting through your prayer. Or make it so it's like dungeoneering - it is only weak to a specific style (not slash, as the best weapons have that style).

    Does halfkilling count towards your slayer kill count? If it doesn't, then maybe it's better. If it does count, then it's not, because you'll be getting less slayer exp per task.
  11. In theory the longsword should be better, but let me bring you back to the scim vs long debate. The longsword is more accurate and better strength than the rapier, but the rapier can hit 5 more times in a minute (rapier 25, long 20). Since the difference between the two weapons is so small, and most of the time style doesn't really matter since monsters are 0 def, rapier is better. It still falls short to the rune scimitar though ;) The cost of gravite rapier is not worth the tiny bonuses.

  14. Although Jagex has done some improvements with music in recent times (Dungeoneering music ftw!), I think there should be an overhaul as well. Then again, limitations prevent Jagex from moving a step forward.
  15. If you're wearing full rune, of course they will have trouble hitting you. Scimitars can only slash and that doesn't do very well on plated armor. The advantage of a battleaxe is not only can it slash, but it can crush too. Crush does better on plated enemies than slash. Longswords can slash and stab efficiently. Although I'm not sure who uses chainbodies, stab fares better on hide, perhaps because dragons are weak to them too. It's really due to weakness exploiting that causes you to be so epic in cwars. Magic users make things even better.

  17. I won't be giving up lol. I just need to take a break from w7 and work on other goals for a while (smithing and rc atm). Yep I'm working my hardest, and I will be efficient on those goals. I'm going to follow your footsteps and train some rc as well as smith. I want my 70 rc goal done already... Speaking of rc... Have like 69k exp left to go... though that's not much compare to Swedishboy's 1m rc exp xD

  20. I remember when I myself got 1k total on February, and the distinct feeling of "skill total worlds, finally"! I must say, grats! Get your rc up so we can play GOP sometime ^^

  22. OF COURSE 99'S ARE WORTH IT. Without 90+ levels in most skills, dungeoneering will be harder for you especially if you team. Dunge is end-game which pretty much demands you to have 99s in a lot of areas. Otherwise, it's your own choice.

    Remove the friggin' clan wars arena that's taking up half the wildy, make the Wilderness Volcano underground, and bring back the bone yard (f2p big bone spawns!), poison spiders etc. It's not really the issue of the wildy looking like a city. It's just that these spots take way too much space.
  24. I think the main issue is when 1 ragequits, usually another one follows suit, and then it becomes a huge disaster. It happens to me ALL THE DAMN TIME, and it's usually because of a death, or they realized they already did that floor. >.<" My approach? Everyone tools, everyone fights, and everyone safes. 1 keyer with the ggs, the rest fighting (melee/range/magic equally), maybe some gathering some food or resources. I tell someone to help me (or us help the keyer) with guardian doors or skill/puzzle doors I cannot do. I ignore dead end doors as well. I honestly don't see how this is a bad approach... Seriously, are people really that stupid? It's a simple procedure which unfortunately a lot of random teammates don't seem to get. @ zhong: Yeah, in the future when I pair up with randoms, I'm going to do 5:4 larges.
