Sonic - rip blogging
Well, today was fun... did a large with Cubemoon and 3 other people, and it ended up with 1 ragequitter, 1 who dc'ed (nearly) the entire dungeon, and 1 who kept going around rooms doing stuff. So in the end, me and Cube had to 2-man a level 114 Night-Gazer Khighorahk. Also, I was lagging pretty much the entire time during the dungeon, so I died 3 times (2 from normal rooms, 1 from Khighorak's slam). The entire thing took 2 hours... for only 12k exp. Lol.

3rd bind
Primal rapier or promethium longsword? Since you have a primal baxe bound already (for tanking), you might also do good with a stab weapon. If stab really fails that much, probably a celestial catalytic staff or sagittarian longbow (with sagg arrows p++) as a 3rd. For armor you can just make it in the dungeon itself... and even then, it wouldn't do much good since Daemonheim monsters are extremely accurate with their attacks. Keep in mind I'm no pro in members dunge, and have no idea how armor has an effect. But I suspect it's around the same premise as f2p.

Are there any other ways besides nightshade to damage yourself?
Drinking 2 doses of overload in a row works too. EDIT: Umm, nevermind this post...

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Of course, ranged is the safest approach. But melee is proven faster killing than ranged at everything not called a giant bat or forgotten mage. In a solo situation, Lexicus can be taken down really easily, so you can melee him all you like. Stab or slash attacks are great against him, but he's surprisingly resistant against crush for some reason. In a team, forget melee. You take way too much damage from Lexicus there, so you're better off with ranged. And you're a baxe/2h user, correct? Unless you're a pure, use a spear instead.

Dungeoneering Rants.
Kicking should be removed, for 2 reasons: 1) Don't leave other players in the lurch. 2) We may need them for mime/monolith/switches and the boss. ;) I've never been on a team where somebody wanted another kicked, and it really was for the second reason lol.

200M in all Skills
I love how everyone thinks all the top end players have no life... Just because they play far more efficiently than you do (not to mention they started when Runescape started) doesn't mean they play 24/7 or they're an antisocial missing out on a lot of things in the world. lrn2multitask.

A new players first day (not all bad)
Also, do the Lumbridge/Draynor Achievement Diary. It's a nice thing to do, and sets yourself some goals to work on ^^ I am personally stuck at the 68 smithing task...

Ilufyou's Finally going for 85 smithing!
Don't try doing everything possible in a dungeon. Focus mainly on combat, and mainly on guardian doors and puzzle rooms. Leave dead end rooms alone, and pick up all keys. At your level, do small dungeons for a primary source of exp. Pick up as many dusk eels as possible for the boss. Pray a protection prayer for bosses too. I know this sounds complicated, but this really isn't. It will become second nature to you once you get good at it. Good luck :)

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Damn, I really need to get to work with my guide... Haven't even finished half of it and there's already so many unanswered questions >.<" For Lexicus, use ranged. Since you'll be 5:5 larging furnished floors anyways, there will be plenty of level 45 forgotten rangers (the ones in dromoleather), and they always have a chance of dropping spinebeam longbow or fractite arrows. If you bind the thing, it's even better. I find binding a melee weapon along with a ranged weapon and arrows a good setup. I can just mage barehanded anyway. If you're soloing, just melee him. He's easy there. Just kill the books, they make the fight much easier.

1st October, 2010: Behind the Scenes - October
I hope the right-click altar in Daemonheim means we'll be able to use all our bones on the altar at once. And I hope the Halloween event this year is even better than the last.

Dungeoneering, Fast dg, and anger
And that is exactly why I hate skiller dunge. <_<

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I'm currently mining iron ores using the dwarven mine deposit box method until 75. Probably get me around 3k ores or so. However, here's the question. After I get these iron ores, is it worth it to buy the coal and superheat those into steel bars? And after that, should I get the scroll of efficiency and make them all into steel platebodies? Man, smithing is troublesome... one of the reasons why it's kinda low on my list.

need slayer help
I've done bronzes lower than that level, and they're basically blue dragons with red dragon defense. I used full rune + dragon longsword (stab) + antifire shield + antifire potions w/ lobsters, and got around 9 kills per trip at Brimhaven Dungeon. If you've ran out of food, protect from melee another kill or two. That was when I was really newb at members though, and using Chaeldar because I don't have the requirements for smoking kills... stupid friend for not let me get 85 combat before getting me members on Singha. #-o Also use a black mask for melee tasks if possible.

What other fansites do you commonly use? And how can tip.it expand itself to compete?
I use Rswiki because it has awesome pictures. And I admit, I love using them for my guides. I'm crap at image editing so... Otherwise, everything Runescape, I talk about it in Tip.It.

Left Click All Monsters (Toggle)
Besides, most monsters that are not located in Daemonheim are easy as heck to kill. Even metal dragons aren't too hard on a level 80... But in some cases, I want to make it so that I don't left click "attack" on anything. Thieving is a very good example of this, as well as skilling in an area with monsters.

Tomorows October
I hope the Halloween event this year is more awesome than any of the other ones so far. Last year's was great though.

Dungoneering question
Actually, you should get a promethium spear p++ first. Until you have enough tokens for a good berserker class, the strength of the 2h doesn't make up for its lack of a stab.
-
Lummy hard diary inconsistent
Who cares about inconsistency, really? These should only be done for the rewards tbh. And besides it's a HARD diary, there has ought to be hard level requirements.

Oinkbullet3.
I'm actually not that surprised... frozen floors don't give anything p2p, so the chance for unclearable doors are lower there. This f35 large I did with Steph only had 1 unclearable room. Stupid grapple hooks.
-
Small or medium at what level?
If you're soloing, complexity 6 all the way. Also, it's advised to do the frozen floors and the first 6 abandoned floors on small, then switching to medium once you get to furnished. Soloing is a good time to practice your dungeoneering skills and acquaints you with the enemies and bosses on the floor themes. At your current level, Shadow-forger Ihlahkizan is the hardest boss, but you will only meet him on the next 6 abandoned floors, which is f30-35. For furnished, you should definitely watch out for Rammernaut, as well as Night-gazer Khighorahk if you're meleeing. Once you reach 65+ dunge, Bal'lak the Pummeller will be a fair challenge too. Once you reach the occult floors, try switching to teaming. If you're still going to stay solo, beware as bosses like the Trio and the Necrolord are harder there. Watch out for occult overall, it's harder than any of the previous floor themes (obviously). Well, good luck with your dungeoneering!

Fun.
Lol, first we had a thread about efficiency, now we have a thread about fun. Nice juxtapose! Anyways, as for fun, I enjoy training every skill with the exception of hunter (dunno why, I just hate it). I always find fun ways to train particular skills, and they coincide to be rather (but not totally) efficient as well. But since I'm a casual gamer, I don't really have time to get any of my stats to 99. I just play for fun now, since I already have all the levels I need for everything f2p (except for Lumby Hard, but I can get that smithing level someday, just not at the moment). Dungeoneering really is THE reason why I'm bound to stay in Runescape for a long time. It's just so awesome!

Runescape EXPERIENCE Hiscores
Very nice list, but how often will they be updated? The top players progress at a fast rate, so obviously there would be a lot of changes. I still want Jagex to add a total exp hiscores though.

Yeah, weekends are mostly my free times. Though, it's October break, so next week I'm free as well. I want 85 dunge so bad. D:
