Efficiency
I'm not saying burn yourself out, I never implied that. In fact I don't like doing that to myself either :P What I'm saying is, it's good to have fun, but being efficient can have better outcomes in the long run. The best setup would be to have a combination of both. After all, fun is what drives you into this game in the first place right? I'm just glad dungeoneering is like that. I'm an efficient dunge dude (in f2p anyway), but dungeoneering is really fun for me too. I suppose a lot of people would agree on that, except for the dunge haters lol. (Now I wonder how the top-end players manage to have fun doing their "pp while fletch while alch for 12 hours"... )

Efficiency
Well if you think about it, if you were actually efficient with a particular skill, you would save time. And that saved time, you can go do something else like another skill or talk or go outside or something. In the end, pretty much everything favors efficiency over anti-efficiency. You don't got all the time in the world you know, especially if you're paying for something. There is an exception however, and that's fun. But you can be efficient while still having fun, no?

21-Sept-10 Gunnar's Ground
Well, nice quest I guess. 2k exp from the after-reward, and some weird boots which are apparently f2p mage boots. And another music track. WOOHOO.

For those Dungeoneering with bad internet...
Sorry about the group gatestone thing - I meant that in solos, when you dc, you drop the ggs on the ground (if you have it on you). Now, say you have some keys on you, and you need to home tele. Pick up keys, go into ggs portal to return to where you left off. Trouble is, it doesn't work like that. You have to pick up the ggs and drop it AGAIN for the ggs portal to work. Remember, it's not the teleport spell, it's the portal.

What needs to be "Tweaked" in RS?
Have warning messages for antipoison potions. Adjust the difficulty of puzzles when people leave (no more unclearable mime rooms). Make talisman staffs actually do something useful. Ability to buy anti-dragon shield from smuggler. ...yeah that's all I can think of on the top of my head.

Efficiency
Fun is subjective. For some, maximizing xp/hr, gp/hr, or even xp/gp is fun.

Sonic's F2P Runecrafting Guide
Just a slight reminder to all you runecrafting people. When the elite diaries were released (which led to explorer ring 4), explorer's rings are glitched. For some reason they don't give out extra elemental runes anymore. Keep this in mind next time you go rcing.

I've gotten other titles too =p I Can Has Heim Crab? - eat heim crabs only. It's A Trap! - teleport to ggs and die after. Especially easy to get on skeletal horde or Bal'lak the pummeller. It's Too Easy! - use a mix of melee, ranged, and magic. Balanced! - kill the boss close to death, with lots of food in your inventory. Easy to get with luminescent icefiend. Least I Ain't Chicken - be the only one to enter the boss room. Tele-Fail - ggs teleport in the exact same room, same spot. The Gate Escape - use gatestone teleport while low on health. Anyone got any others?

Efficiency
If you're not being efficient in your game play, you're doing it wrong. Time is money, and you're essentially wasting your cash if you're just chitchatting in world 1 Lumbridge or something, and not actually training your skills. Efficiency - that's what most of Runescape is all about. Without efficiency, good luck actually doing stuff in game...

Sonic's F2P Dungeoneering Guide
First of all, thanks for the detailed post, Izenhime! I always seem to make some mistakes here and there, I'll correct them when I can. About the bulwark beast, I did fine stabbing with a spear. I guess it's related to pickaxes as they can only crush and stab. It's similar with hobgoblins - the geomancer is weak to stab and ranged, so it only makes sense that the normal versions are too. With icy bones, that's just what I've assumed with the stalagmites. I've actually never been hit by them before, but they DO block the way, so yeah. I'll put what you said in as a slight replacement unless confirmed otherwise.

Sonic - rip blogging
Heh, I used to get like 50 exp for each floor too. You know, if it wasn't for the level cap, I could have gotten 50k exp from it. And yeah I already got the 2k crafting exp from Dororan. I won't be getting 90 craft anytime soon... although I can get the 72 one. Tinypic has stated that there will be no more uploading starting September 23, so that's why I've switched to Photobucket. Works just as well!

I was actually quite surprised with how our exp turned out. Steph and I were the only "regular" players while the other 3 were pures. :o

I prefer mining all the iron first, then sit at a bank and superheat it all. It's more efficient and less tedious. And how's this for some hawt dungeoneering exp? <3:

Arrgh, my computer crashed and lost my 2 level up pics. <_< Oh well, here they are in a different format. 71 Cooking & 69 Defense Also completed the new quest, Gunnar's Ground! And how's this for some hawt exp? And just so you all know, I'm going to use Photobucket for future uploads. Tinypic is shutting down for some reason.

So....anyone completed strange rock statue yet?
I'm not even done with my first statue. Skills like hunter bore me, and I have no incentive for them. Besides there probably wouldn't be anything big when we DO get all 30 pieces on our statue.

Something smells fishy?????
May I bring you to troacctid's "fishing fluccutiflucination" (whatever you spell that) post? Don't do fishing for the cash, it's not worth it even in f2p. If you really wanted to, I suppose Stiles and the explorer's ring -> Port Sarim deposit box are good methods. Just don't rely on fishing to be your main source of income. (Unless you want it to be your main source of food.)

Who will get 200m Dunge XP first?
First it was Skiller 703, then it was Mintella, then it was Fredmcgarry, then it was No Excuses, then it was Telmomarques, and now it's Rela Rela5. Why can't the same person keep up with the same goal? <_<

Oinkbullet3.
Lol, gratz on these recent levels. And they're called the Tezaki Dragoons? Never knew that, I always referred you guys as the Daemonheim Dragoons, lawl.

1,500 - done. 1,800 or 2,000?
Skill total worlds right now really aren't all that high... For both F2P and P2P worlds (1000 and 1500), it averages to ~60 in each skill. I doubt the average player will have difficulty reaching that. Heck even 70+ isn't all that difficult. It's a matter of, do you want to train these skills or not? Pulli, with all these added stuff these days, efficiency really is the only way to play Runescape. Or even, games in general. If you're not efficient, you're not only wasting your time, but also your MONEY. And no, it's not just "time is money", it's your real life cash going down the drain too. You know why I choose not to be a member for now? Because I want to improve my character up to the point that when I finally decide to get members, I will have a pretty good advantage. I don't want time and money going down the drain with subpar stats and cash. That being said, yes there needs to be more worlds. 1200 for f2p and 1800 for p2p is a good number, as for both, it averages to ~75 for each skill which is a pretty nice goal.

Try killing cockroach workers for your nats. They drop quite a decent amount of them. And come on, who doesn't dunge these days? :P One day when you're skilled enough you can join us, lol.

For those Dungeoneering with bad internet...
Every time you disconnect in a dungeon (regardless of size and party members), your created gatestone is automatically destroyed. It doesn't matter if it's in your inventory, dropped at a far corner, or even dropped upon death - one dc and POOF! Your gatestone is gone. For all you keyers, watch out for this glitch. If you happen to lag in a 5:5 large and need to teleport to a door in a corner... Also, this is slightly less serious, but it can be annoying too. In solos, when you dc with your group gatestone on, it's dropped where you left. However, when you try to teleport to it using the group gatestone portal, nothing happens. This can be especially annoying on a medium solo and you have lots of keys on. This is resolved by picking it up and dropping it again, however. Just a fair warning. If you want to dunge efficiently, make sure you have a good internet connection!

Future Update Discussions
Well, they'd better. Still, it would probably not be that interesting of a quest. It's going to be highly unlikely there's a boss here. Unless we get to fight something like the Love TriangleTrio.
