People seem to get the concept of efficiency wrong. Efficiency doesn't necessarily mean a grind-fest. Sure, maybe the best methods will require grinding for quite a long time, but does that mean you HAVE to focus on that one thing all the time? During the time you do that efficient method, you can chat with others in clans or something like that. Face it, after a while, you'll get bored or burn out or something like that. (Unless you have a really good concentration span...) Efficiency simply means using the best possible method that is handed to you. Whether that be fly fishing or killing frost dragons, you're still being efficient because you're using a good, reliable method that will save you lots of time in the long run. Fun factor is subjective, but I still think it's important. Why? It determines the stopping point of your method. If you bore yourself dungeoneering, what's the point of doing so for another 6 hours? Luckily nothing in Runescape really bores me, because of my handy chat box. So really, efficiency is not only using good methods available to you, it's whether or not you want to do these methods. If you don't like one method, there's plenty of other good choices out there. Note that obviously this doesn't account for everything, but in most cases, there are a good number of solid options to pick.

Well if it wasn't for fun factor, why would I be dungeoneering in the first place? To me, fun factor is an essential part of efficient play. If I don't find it fun I'm better off doing something else. To me, skiller rushing isn't really dungeoneering because you're not playing dunge the way it's supposed to be played. And this is essentially like GOP 50/50 because of freeloading. That's the key to all this fuss. If it wasn't for freeloading, no one would even consider skiller dunge.

But where does fun factor go? How about teamwork? How about... the spirit of dungeoneering itself? This is really the same issue as 50/50 GOP. Everyone gets a reward for hardly doing anything at all.

I think it involves prayer, herblore, and firemaking. I heard it CAN be cleared on f2p but I'm not entirely sure.

Just to clarify, binding more runes/arrows to your ammo pile helps you save an inventory space, so you should be doing that every time you see a pile of your own arrows or runes. It resets back to 125 on your next dungeon anyway, so it's beneficial to do so. Also, the main reason why I suggested fletching to be f2p is because... well, how is it treated in p2p? Besides, for some reason staffs are involved in it too, and you can only get staffs from Unholy Cursebearer. At least you can get tier 5 longbows by killing level 45 rangers, and they appear quite frequently in a large.

Does the blast box work in Fist of Guthix? If so, maybe I'll give it a shot. Maybe. *is heavily leaned towards tome of frost instead*

Cuz apparently it's "double" exp for the top end players. It doesn't make a difference really. Those skillers can be replaced with other endgame players that actually contribute to dungeon progress.

Or you can C6 small rush those early floors instead of C1. Slightly longer, but 10 times more exp per floor. :thumbup:

After comparing the two of you, I will indeed say something is strange with the way exp calculations work. Perhaps it's something to do with you having 90 stats in your combats, with him only in the 70s? And why did Tezaki quit, lol? Kinda ironic too as she has 104 dunge.

Well, when you put it that way, I guess so... Still, what you do in the dungeon may have an impact with the exp at the end, although I'm not entirely sure. I hear people who melee get an upper hand when it comes to experience, but that may be a rumor for all I know. In your situation, I don't know how the 2P dungeon worked, so blame the system for glitching up somehow.

Chill... there's no need to get pissed off. What we're saying is that this suggestion can do with some improvements. Who knows, maybe it can contain a boss monster harder than corp. Or some super-high level slayer monsters. Or adamant/rune dragons. Or even dungeoneering slayer monsters! I would love to see an edimmu in above surface runescape, tbh.

Level 3 leechers are my biggest pet peeve. Instead of just sitting there, why not actually do something, like mine ore, chop logs, go fishing? Maybe even help us make some armor. Don't just sit around doing nothing. If it wasn't for the f2p experience cap, our clan would immediately kick leechers. Well, there is ONE skiller in our clan, but he's actually helpful. Unfortunately, most aren't useful, and just sit in the base room.

It's only a few larges for 43k tokens... If you're ever ice bursting, get the tome of frost IN ADDITION to your arcane stream + sol. EDIT: Ohwait, sol is 2-handed. But it's still worth getting.

I don't see the point of complaining just because you got less exp than your partner... although I admit, this is pretty strange. Also, 5:5 large anything past the second half of furnished (f24+). (Join us for larges, Greedy! :D ) Btw, the "lava in 4 channels" requires mining and construction, as tested on my p2p account.

It's just like monster drops. You're not guaranteed to get a whip EVERY 450TH KILL, it's simply a chance of 1/450 that can occur anytime. What you're experiencing is probably a seed "dry streak". 10% is a lot smaller than it seems, you know.
