Ooh, well that would require a heck of a lot of research as to what matter would work if released, if matter need be released at all, etc. So that would cost me more moneys than I have right now.

It's not nutritional. Yes, but it does provide energy. The mather explained you can research nutrition later. I'm working on a new race and I was thinking could I buy the electric shield later ingame? Yeah, I might research adding nutrition to it later. And sure, but it won't exactly be cheap. And if you're using it in matter other than Earth air, it'd have to be modified.

It's a matter of whether you think that intelligent people should be punished for simple mistakes. Personally, I think that they should have a test before your driver's license, before you become a legal adult, and before you can drink. I'm not sure how the test would work, but if you can prove you're responsible, you don't get tagged with all the stupid annoying laws that are "for your own good." If you prove irresponsible, you get the annoying laws.

You stole my question. Time to ask someone with high Herb and high Mage..... Where's Olly when you need him? Edit: If this IS possible, they need to make a warning message if someone tries to give you a dose of Overload. Seriously, that + an AGS or even a claw spec would kill someone easily.

Hex, it would be possible. It would require modifications so that some of the extra carbon and hydrogen molecules, as well as a few oxygen, are put into a different area in made into C6H12O6, which is a basic sugar molecule. Sugar is food, is it not? One could even feed carbon and hydrogen into an exchanger to make food (once TONSIL is complete, of course.), at the expense of breathing air with less oxygen in it. So, projects: Acceleration Engine: 9/18 Electric Shield: 9/27 New Hope Space Station: 9/27 TONSIL: 1/10

Welcome to Invision Power Board!
I think my private messages are broken - I got an email saying I had gotten one, went to check the inbox and there was nothing. Halp?

Okay, my previous post mentioned TONSIL. However, since I can't send a proof of what this project would do to anybody, I'm just going to make it public. TONSIL is a project to modify the dioxide exchangers so that the leftover "waste" is chemically bonded into food. Now, this wouldn't exactly be gourmet food, but it would still be able to prolong the spaceship's journey even further.

Okay, sold to you as well. Edit: Since I recently acquired a sum of money equal to greater than twice my GDP, I'm going to finish off my expansion project as well as my solar project. Paying off these two projects, since they were so near to completion, costs $150 million. (Yes, I did the math.) I now have semi-advanced-level solar panels, along with another 3,000 sq. mi. of land. This increase of land increases tourism and immigration once again, raising the growth rate to 0.1%/yr and the GDP per citizen to $65,000. I am also starting a secret project known to the public only as "TONSIL." This project will drain $300 million per year, and will take 10 years at this rate.

Yeah, -dioxide is probably more correct. But how exactly would one say "-dioxide"? And dioxide converter is just easier to type. And to answer your question, a dioxide converter basically converts anything with 2 oxygen molecules and any other molecule (carbon dioxide, etc.) into oxygen, which is let out into the air, and "waste molecules," some of which are released into the air to prevent too high of an oxygen concentration and some of which are put into a disposal bin, which would need to be emptied periodically. Basically it causes a chemical conversion from XO2 to X + O2, where the "x" element is any element that can combine in that way. Wouldn't it be better to call it a carbondioxide or CO2 converter, that's the only -O2 gass we produce as a biproduct. It's best used as a CO2 converter, however, it can be used for any other O2 molecule as well.

Did you research those yerself, or did you just buy them from me? If so, I wanna know how much you bought them for - be reasonable, now - because I need to know if that's any more money I can have going towards research. I'll buy the technology for $4 billion. Sold. Anyone else want the tech?

Yes, it was rude. Unless your definition of rude is nonexistent, which it appears to be.

Lies! I wanted to buy that tech, but TIF screwed me on my saved posts. I'm really not liking this new layout at all. Hey Ross, if you got BS'd as well, how did you find your posts? I tried the "work offline" thing, but nothing came up in the search reults. I'd PM you but I can't figure out how >.< Tech is still for sale, I just said that to see if anyone still wanted to buy it XD I don't for the reason that you force yourself on me to buy it. Now THAT was just rude.

"Unique" Jokes and Fads at Your School?
There's a teacher at my school called Mr. Neal. So every time he does something slightly odd, a friend of mine starts calling him "Keepin' it Neal." Other than that, not much except the occasional Chuck Norris joke, spawning a spew of Chuck Norris jokes from anyone in the vicinity for about 15 minutes. Also, I think this thread got hit by the forum space/time paradox.

Expansion through Evaporation: 8/9 Acceleration Engine: 8/18 Electric Shield: 8/27 New Hope Space Station: 8/27 Improved Solar: 8/9 So apparently, nobody want to buy the dioxide exchanger tech from me. Oh well then. Next section of New Hope went up, containing the new dioxide exchanger as well as replacement exchangers for the previous prototypes, more prototype solar panels, and emergency supplies. Other than that, not much is happening.
