  1. And yet another warrior entered the chaos. As the green-clad warrior appeared through the portal to the dimension from whence he came, he winced at all the vibrations. Cursing, he flew off of the back of ARENA and in front of his nose. He then began to fire multiple sound pulses seemingly from nowhere at ARENA's skull.
  2. Oh well. Potions are still good for bosshunting.
  3. GL on some scarfs Especially since smokin mils is blowing them through the roof.

I know the best Japanese restaurant. Like EVER. But I've only had the chance to go there three times because while it's a local place, it's not local for me. :(
  5. Please tell me you're kidding.
  6. For all of you saying this doesn't stop 76kers: It doesn't entirely, but it helps. Some of them are too dumb to get the "player A kills B, B kills C, C kills A, rotate, repeat" thing. And the rest are probably too paranoid about the dumb ones making the pricey stuff they bought drop, so they're selling it all. Meaning the inflative effects of 76king are going to slowly start being destroyed until people get smart. Which, knowing that we're playing Runescape, is slightly less of a chance than pigs flying.
  7. Sorry, I already have dibs on Japan.
  8. Doesn't matter to me whether or not we make up names, I'm still those islands to the east of Asia.
  9. Wow, so while I was gone, we Planned a war Made up an idea for a new thread Forgot about the war Put dibs on people for the new thread And killer, curse you, I wanted Sparta. Looks like I'll have to nab Japan instead. Anyways, in preparation for the war, all Staff-class carriers have been recalled and outfitted into Staff-class warships. Beware. I start putting more money into the Ship Shield and Knife-Class projects, cutting their time by 2 years. Electric shield has been put up on Zhoreuc surrounded by EAMs. Project Freon scientists got tired of waiting for clones from RPG, so they took a few death-row people and faked their executions... so I now have what I call "cryonite critters." They aren't too smart, but they're strong, durable, and covered in ice. A Staff-class warship is taking most of these creatures to Ekedou II and should arrive in 3 years, and have a full colony in about 4. They have the plans for all my tech so far, and instructions to destroy the plans if the ship is attacked.

Sounds like my school, sans the old and sick people on scooters. Stupid people HAVE to walk in lines of 4 or 5 blocking off the whole hallway at approximately 0.3 miles per hour. Anyways, today, I got dropped off at school, bored to death, ate lunch, bored some more, and was then told I should drop one of my classes because I'm failing it. (Music classes are just not my forte....) And then I got to wait at the library for 2+ hours until my mom could get off work.

My first attempt at cooking ever was spaghetti. I put food dye in the water I was boiling it in, and... well.... it looked like worms. So we left it out on out porch for the birds to eat, and the next day there was bird barf everywhere. On a positive note, I had ham quesadillas tonight. Nothing special, but still good.
  12. Daily update: New Hope Space Station: 23/27 Project Freon: 14/15 Sword-Class: 11/18 Knife-Class: 2/12 Ship Shield: 0/4 My Project Freon scientists are still waiting for the clones from Rpg. New Hope is still being towed to its place in the Asteroid Belt. New project beginning to adapt the electric shield to have a belt of air in ships and then electrify that. It should take 8 years to develop the actual tech, and another 8 years to get it implemented into my ships. Electric shield blueprints have also been sent to Zhoreuc and one is being assembled as we speak. Beyond that, not much. Growth, stuff, politics, etc.
  13. I see a war on the horizon.
  14. I would love the ability to have an herb garden in my house. Or a tree garden. Just a garden I can actually get Farming xp out of.
  15. Daily update time. New Hope Space Station: 22/27 Project Freon: 13/15 Military Pods: 10/18 Knife-Class: 1/12 Towing of New Hope continues. Project Freon scientists have managed to make a frog with the cold-resistance gene and cryonite infusion, with the same reproduction results - offspring is infused with cryonite. So, Rpg, time for me to order some more clones.... 300 should do it. The orbital miners project has been scrapped. Besides that, not much else is happening.
  16. First of all, I would like to welcome you aboard. :) Yes, people could theoretically conquer planets in your system, however, you most likely won't get booted off the game (i.e. A person invades all of your planets and conquers them.) Also, people have been starting with an 80b budget. This is technically much higher than it should be because we are taking 20% of your starting GDP and being lenient. However, established players are using 5% of their total GDP. For your starting tech, you should probably ask Doomsavenger about that, but you would definitely get FTL drives, as well as having a choice of other starting tech (within reason). You also get a population of 10 million humans. Also, Doomsavenger or Ross_the_Knight will generate a random system for you, so there's no need to take an already-existing system. Enjoy playing with us. Saywhatnow? I'm still using 25% of the 20% I tax. Edit: Wait... that's the same thing. :wall:
  17. New Hope Space Station: 21/27 Project Freon: 12/15 Military Pods: 9/18 Travel Pods: 6/6 Forgot to save final copy of data again, bleh. Starting a project that will make designs for a small warship, larger than the Military Pods (from now on referred to as Knife-class fighters) but smaller than the Mini-Hopes. They will be referred to as Sword-class fighters, and will be armed mainly with ion cannons. The Mini-Hopes are also being renamed as Staff-class carrier/fighters. Production has been halted on conscious fluid cannons until their population increases. Freon scientists have been able to create two cats with the cold-resistance gene and cryonite infusion. It appears that when they reprocude, the offspring is infused with cryonite as well. The travel pods are complete, and Cryonite has begun being shipped using them. After 3 years (travel time) I will receive 3 tons of cryonite per year, as well as 1 ton of other assorted valuable minerals, with the amount increasing a bit every year as more miners and pods are produced. The sale of conscious fluid pets has been stopped due to various reasons. Does anyone remember the time and/or cash per year I put into orbital miners or whatever I called them? They were deleted with the missave, and I can't be troubled digging through 10 pages of stuff trying to find my last update. Same thing goes with whether or not I imposed taxes on Oruguma. And I don't want any fake answers that people think I might take, like "You're spending $30 bill a year for 30 billion years."
  18. I didn't. I sent the plans there and so far they've made a couple with minerals they found/mined themselves. On that note, I take 10 or so of the miners produced and load them into a Mini-Hope, which goes off to Zhoreuc.
  19. Listen, just because YOUR farts are that bad, doesn't mean that everyone else's are. Lay off the skewered kebabs for it a bit.
  20. Next big ranging equipment: Familiars! Throw them at trees and get 1k xp per!
  21. Some treaty was signed or something, I think Ross (?) was the one that put it forward. Mm, I don't remember it then.
  22. SO..... MUCH.... EPIC..... UPDATES..... =P~ Seriously gonna have to pay a visit to Ardougne soon. And the no redbarring and jewelry decant option is FTW.
  23. Time once again for the RANDOM UPDATE OF THE DAY! Electric Shield: 20/20 New Hope Space Station: 20/27 Project Freon: 11/15 Military Pods: 8/18 Miners: 5/5 Travel Pods: 5/6 New Factory: 2/2 Gaseous Miners: 0/5 .... Gah, don't you hate it when you forget to save your TIF Hegemony documents after editing them? The last section of New Hope has gone up, and we are now waiting on the Mini-hopes in the asteroid belt to tell us where it's gonna go. My new factory is complete, cutting the production time of the Mini-Hope down to one per year. Mini-Hope production has also started again. The electric shield project is complete, and the shield has been set up around Iceland. Dusty, EMPs can't be illegal, because they're one of the few things effective against that shield. It's fine if you make EMPs illegal against everyone else, though. :P Miners are also complete, and have begun drilling beneath Iceland and Zhoreuc. The mining increasees my GDP per capita to $66,000 on Earth and $30,000 on Zhoreuc. Also, engouh minerals have been mined on Zhoreuc for the two Mini-Hopes guarding the colony to be outfitted with ion cannons. Taxing now begins on the Zhoreuc colony, however, they have a slightly lower tax rate than Earth. The Project Freon scientists have come up with a way to allow what we now call an "ice creature" to move on its own with the bodily infusion of cryonite. We are now waiting for more cryonite to be shipped in from either Zhoreuc or the asteroid belt for further use. Development has begun on gaseous miners - miners that hover in the gases of gas giants and collect samples of either useful or rare minerals in gaseous form. The project wil take me about $20 billion overall and take 5 years. After completion, production and use of these will begin in the small factory/shipyard/thing orbiting Oruguma. The rest of the Mini-Hopes not guarding the Zhoreuc colony have returned to Earth for outfitting of new weaponry and tech, as well as saying that they have found a promising location for New Hope. they have begun towing it towards the asteroid belt. The fuel and time used should take up the rest of the New Hope project.
  24. 2 very good articles. Relative to the first, yes, the inflation from 76king is killing us all. But right now Jagex seems to be like the Santa Claus who simply gives you clothes when you asked for a BB Rifle. (Yes, that was an A Christmas Story reference.) Relvative to the second, I don't see why they did it. Their reason(s?) is weak, and everything that points to the fact that the potions should have remained in PvP stacks up higher than the reasons against it. I'm just glad they didn't remove them from GWD or other bosshunting zones, THEN I'd be really ticked. They still have a current use for the ~3,000ish people who still play and can use them.
