  1. Kc, or anyone else who has those two pins, how did you get the roadkill and light vehicle pins?
  2. My guess is that people want a quick way to get to the grand exchange. Some people don't have the three air runes, one law rune, and one fire rune. Others might be on lunar or ancient magics.
  3. As great as this idea seems, quests usually start in one location, send you to another place, and have you end up at a third. I remember when I did the first part of recipe for disaster. The cook wanted me to make some simple cocktail, but I had to walk all the way to the Grand Tree to get some ingredient. Perhaps you should try figuring out the order you do quests through something else, maybe by what titles seem interesting to you or how many quest points it gives you (which usually gives a light idea of how long the actual quest is).
  4. Hmm, never played bc1, what kind of gun is it? Sounds like artillery. Today, I played this match on nelson bay that didn't frustrate me. We kept rushing the russian team as the defenders. I threw motion mines, while my team mopped up the russians that tried to push forward. I think I got three or four motion sensor pins that match. There was no annoying mortar bombardment, and they never made it pass the first set.
  5. Muchos Thankos. I now have Vet status 1 (BC2 and BF1942) And for BC1 do I need to complete a ranked match for veteran status? Yea, I think playing a couple online matches would register bc1 for you. However, I have read some people who couldn't get bc1 to register. If you do play a couple matches and bc1 doesn't register, you may have to talk to ea live chat again. Hopefully, you have the garand already so you won't have to run into this potential problem.
  6. I got put in a round of rush on laguna presa and there was only one squad on both teams. It went much better than I expected. I finally got the "destroy four m-comm stations" pin that match. It was fun supporting my team with motion sensors, laying c4 on walls and m-comms, and using the vss with red dot.
  7. Heh, I remember playing OoT on an emulator. The spiral steps to get the megaton hammer were so frustrating to climb using arrow keys. I hated messing up and falling down that stupid hole. I think I even got to the end one time, ready to open the chest, and the fire barrier reactivated.

I think healer has the biggest payout in points and most room for error. It feels a lot easier, maybe even less stressful, than the other three roles.
  9. Here is the costumer support page. You can have a live chat with an ea employee under the "email us" section. There's a short criteria sheet you have to fill out, but once you finish you can talk to an employee. It may take a couple minutes to connect though. Tell the employee that you have played a couple battlefield games but you are not getting veteran status.
  10. Garand and thompson kills now register for the correct gun. Any kills you got with the garand before the patch still register under the thompson. Also, you get more points for m-comm interactions. I remember getting 50 points for damaging the m-comm and 250 for destroying it. I can't remember how many points I got for arming it, but I think 50 is probably the new number. Also, I got some nice grenade kills on the hill the russians use to assault the second set of m-comm stations of port valdez.
  11. I was on a slump the first half of the week, but I had some very fun games today and yesterday. I got blessed by being put on some good teams. One match on port valdez as defenders, we stole their t-90 and we completely shut them down on the first set of m-coms.
  12. As much as I enjoy bc2, it still has it's [cabbage] and "unrealistic" moments.
  13. Fury/glory is probably a better compromise amulet with their range attack bonus and prayer bonus. If you have the enhanced excalibur, you probably don't need that many brews. But then again, you don't need too many prayer restoring potions either. So I guess that'll work for you in case you mess up on luring jad and the other monsters. Finally, I'd just stick with broad bolts all the way. Switching to diamond bolts might hinder you enough to make a major mistake on jad.
  14. http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/ Battlefield heroes doesn't register for veteran status for me, but it seems to register for other people. yea it didnt register veteran status for me before i went ea live chat and asked the person there to put it for me Yep, thanks! I talked to an ea employee through the live chat and he got my veteran status working. BF2 and BF2142 showed up even though I only tried downloading the demos for them. I didn't even play them. However, it sucks that the m1 garand registers kills under the thompson. Oh well.

  16. Played a few rounds this afternoon with a friend. Picked up his m1 garand during a match; it's a pretty fun gun to use. It feels less bulky than the m14 for some reason. Also, taking out a helicopter with a battle tank's main cannon is so satisfying.
  17. Mangled bones do work for lighting the pyre ship for the fremmy task. I am pretty sure; I remember doing it myself. As for gathering mangled bones, you can get them as a drop from a particular barbarian (I don't know which one) or rummage through piles of bones in the ancient cavern. You'll see some bones with a blue rummage option lying around. Sometimes rummaging for bones may damage though, so be careful.
  18. I can loan out some bandos parts and a few other things when you host your event.
  19. Shouldn't "of" be "have" pere?
  20. The semester is finally over so I can play more often now. Hopefully, I can get some platinum stars soon. Also, the mg3 is probably my favorite lmg right now.
  21. Your setup looks fine.If you have the time, you should try working on barrow gloves from rfd and an accumulator from ava's quest. If you're using a safe-spot, you may not need the obsidian cape and shield.
  22. Looks like it is a Cold War era setting in general, not just Vietnam.
  23. Got everything unlocked today. The mg3 is just amazing. I actually feeling like I'm using a hose to shoot people; a couple burst taps seems to kill a person. Played two squad rush games tonight as well, got eight mg3 kills in one of those rounds. The defenders seems to get such a nice height advantage on panama canal though, there's a two-story building with a clear vantage point on the bomb site.

The new fire type looks a bit like spoink/grumpig.
  25. I'm looking forward to using the m9 after the patch. Looks like a nice mix of the m1911 and the mp-443.
