Killing the Jade vine
It's a couple hours, maybe less, not a day. The vine has to grow a couple more vines after you check its health before it goes wild.

Pokemon Thread
The majority of "competitive" pokemon I played was r/s/e because my first pokemon game was ruby. I never got d/p/p and I never got into the current metagame.

Melee training and money
Some people like armoured zombies from after the defender of varrock quest. If you're willing to do some quests, it's not a bad place to train melee and get some money.

Stats for Sara GWD?
From the few times I've been to a mass, I've seen many setups. Mostly godswords, bandos armor, guthans, verac's and range. If you are going to range, a piece of saradomin or zamorak ranging armor will definitely be in handy. I'm not entirely sure how armor would be in a smaller team, but it probably isn't any different. As for an inventory, most people take brews/restores and familiars for healing. People also bring purple sweets, but I don't know if they're useful know since the run update.

Junior-Cadet Bertol...
I've only talked to Bertol with the charos (e) ring, not the other npc's. I can't believe I haven't thought of that. I'll give another shot talking to the npc's with the charos ring equipped. Nope still nothing, only Bertol responds differently with the charos ring equipped.

Junior-Cadet Bertol...
When I became war-chief I talked to all the officers to see if I got any sort of message about the ham guy. I don't remember if I found any. I'll check again and edit in what I find, or not. I just tried talking to all the npc's in the tower and the junior cadets as well. No one seems to know about the ham guy. I'm also mad because some of the npc's aren't addressing me by my rank!

Fight Caves Help
When I attempted the caves with a rune crossbow, I just used broad bolts for the whole thing. I can't really say how effective ruby (e) bolts would be. If you use them with another kind of bolt, it may be detrimental to be switching ammunition during the fight with jad.

Fight Caves Help
It's down to personal preference. Crystal bow shoots further, but karil's crossbow hits faster. They do about the same damage I think; I can't quite remember. You could also try rune crossbow with broad bolts with a shield or prayer book. The rune crossbow hits much harder than the previous two bows. I forgot about the speed of the rune crossbow though, it might be the same as crystal bow. Also, make sure you utilize your long range attack style in some situations.

Members Item Help
He means the first two bones in your inventory, they are the same kind of bones. They give you a bit of construction experience if give to an npc in a members world, assuming you have 30+ construction. The other bones are part a wish-list for a quest, rag and bone man; I can't really remember the specific name. Also you can try selling the talismans; people use them to make summoning familiars.

Fight Caves Help
Your equipment should be fine, stats and equipment aren't really the things that get you your fire cape. I've attempted fight caves four times in my time playing runescape, three in the last two weeks. And finally, yesterday I got my first fire cape. My stats may give me a little more leeway to make mistakes, but the main thing you'll want is calmness and alertness. The waves proceeding jad are really simple if you relax and carefully take out monsters one at a time, usually with others unable to attack you. Once you are at jad, you need to be very careful, but relaxed at the same time, because you want to be able to switch your prayers one step ahead of his attacks. If you get to nervous of the thought that he'll kill you, that can cause you to mess up and die. If anything, you should practice your prayer switching, by itself and while eating or attacking monsters. That way you will be able to focus of jad and his attacks and be able to drink your potions and distract the healers.

Removal of new high level potions in PvP
L[]l loads of pvpers on tif amirite?? As if player killers were the majority of runescape players to begin with. Also, am I the only who suspects that the many people who insisted that these new potions are overpowered didn't even end up in a combat situation were their opponent was using those potions? Seems like it's just, "O NOEZ GAWDLY POTIONZ I CANT USE NERF PLZ!"

TD's Melee Mass setup; DK Sidestep spot
A tormented demon mass is way less straining than duo. If you've been only bringing one style of attack when you duo with another person, that inventory should work in a mass. Since there's way more people, you don't really need to constantly switch attack styles. Plus with a lot more people, you probably won't have to use as may supplies when you duo.

Games that you find overrated?
Um, you say that the legend of zelda is overrated without giving a reason; then say that someone's opnion is invalid? Sure, in this thread, there are people naming games without a reason, but they aren't claiming that other's opinions don't matter. At least the people who are questioning the opinions of others give some sort of supporting details.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
I'm playing majora's mask right now on the collector's cd. I played it before when I was younger, but I gave up because it was "too hard." I'm really enjoying it, and when I finish, I'll have a couple more games to play. Along with the collector's cd, my friend lent me twilight princess as well. I'm set for a couple hours of solid gameplay. I also want to get my hands on windwaker; I was playing the demo and it was quite fun. I really don't see what all the fuss is about this game.
