How do you feel trolling affects the clan world, both on a local (your clan) and global (clan community) scale? Degrades the community both locally and globally. Have fun in game competing to see who on all technicalities is the better clan and enjoy the thrill of warring. If you need to get your kicks out of being immature and stupid on forums AFTER a war, it just shows your lack of capacity to show respect to other people. How do you feel about clans that flat out ban such behaviour? Personally, I respect them. CE takes this approach to this behavior and you can't exactly argue flat out that we haven't been generally successful by taking such an approach. Do you feel like there is an imbalance in how trolling is accepted? If so, how do you restore the balance? I does stem on how the players and members of clans see the game, whether they enjoy it enough to accept they don't need to flame/troll after a war or whether they actually still see more thrill in immaturity that enjoying a game while respecting others. Obviously, not every clan is going to ban trollers and flamers but it is down to clan leaderships, fansites and the members themselves to keep themselves in check.

What is your clan? : Clan Europe How old is it? : 4 years, 5 months. Birthday (If you know it) : March 29th 2006 Although CE only became a Secondary Clan in September 2007 - which is when we really started to become successful so in essence, CE has been what it currently is for exactly 3 years now.

For the sake I was still actively clanning: If TKO closed I'd probably join SE. If DW closed I'd probably join Envy. If CE closed, I'd quit Runescape totally.

If your clan does take in new clanners what do you do to ensure that they become a quality member? We don't often get "new to clanning" applicants, those who do we pressurize them gently into asking for help. One weak link in the chain can mean a win or a loss. At what point do you give up on trying to teach new clanners and just let them fail/quit/get kicked? I don't think we'd resort to that, I think we'd just talk to them and make it clear that they need to improve and that they'd be dropped for important wars. Do you focus on improving the quality of your current member base to allow some leeway on newer clanners? Ofc, newer clanners who've never "warred officially" need to be given some leeway since they all won't learn overnight.

Bit sad you didn't even mention that you lost one round ... it might just be me when I post war topics but if you want the publicity of your win out of the draw, at least have the decency to mention if not report in full the overall outcome was a draw. You make the topic quite misleading otherwise which isn't that respectful. Gratz to both clans on winning 1 each.
