The walk down where you got to rub your victory in the noses of the clan you just slaughtered were some of the best war wrap-ups I've ever experienced :( I don't think a lot of people remember really.

Considering when you guys remade the team with the intent to war in the EST/GMT timezone and I said don't add me to the list....yeahhhhhh.... Don't know what you're talking about broski.

I tried posting seriously on RSC and I tried posting seriously on Tip.it. Guess where I'm still posting. Go on, you'll never guess! :P That aside, good to see you HisLordship.

I'd have to say that Gladz always deserved a vast amount of respect for the Community/warring atmosphere they provided for their members.

:lol: this was a good one That's happened to me before lol. It's even better when their 'old clan' dies a week later and they come back with their tail between their legs. In the words of Gilthanas0, DECLINED.

I was on the cusp of quitting when I met a wonderful person online (who I'm still friends with today) and he helped me start training and explore runescape just a bit more. One day on a whim, he signed me and himself up for a clan. He ended up quitting runescape, but I continued in that clan until the coleader left and went to The Death Squad. Shortly thereafter I followed him there. I didn't know about anything of what they did. I was drawn in by this awesome concept of a community who all played runescape. I was pulled kicking and screaming to pks and I always moaned when I died--a rune set was a lot of money when your only moneymaker was mining coal in free to play! But over the years I liked the PvP aspect of it more and more until I fell in love with a clan that held a good mix of PvP and community.

It's really confusing when you guys don't post a clan afterwards. And there's already so many repeats...surely there are more clans out there lol. Well I'm complimenting Triforce. They're returning back from a bit of a slump with most grace that clans only wish they had. Darkness Awaits, compliments ahoy!

Lots of reason clans close though is that the leadership doesn't want to continue/can't continue and they just don't want to pass power down to someone else. Not always because of internal issues like activity or security. I doubt they'd be so revolutionary, but it'd just be another clan in the wilderness. They'd either adapt or die, just like any other clan. Problem is though with reopening clans, people hold them to almost an impossible ideal, especially in DS' case. And that alone could be a reason why a dead clan reopening wouldn't be successful.

It was a pleasure to get to know IF both via the TWR and as a part of the Tipit Community. Best of luck to all of IF's members. Hope you stay in touch in the clan world. :)

Nice job LND though I think levels didn't come into play as much as you'd think. There's only about 2 lvls of avg difference there. :-k I'd bet the 3rd factor is organization :P

Food muling is nearly impossible to track and honestly, if their "watchers" were that close to the battlefield they could've very easily traded it to their side too, without any proof. What a shame. GJ though DA I have no doubts you guys would've won if HA carried the war out. (By the way I saw Wallygayter and said hi to him but he ignored me 3)

When I joined the Moriquendi, I did it because that's where a large portion of The Death Squad members went after it closed. So I suppose I did it for the community, because I actually didn't/refused to attend any wars/pks for the first few months. :3

What's your favorite clan & rank in that clan? Sacred Templars, just a regular member. They were an absolute brilliant clan that closed at the peak of glory.

Okay, if you put it that way. So you're saying a fresh guy with all 50 of his rune sets still in his bank not help turn the tide of the war, while everybody else is on their last few sets of rune, with many of them quitting due to the money lost? That one person is like Canada finding a huge oil deposit in the north in these oil strapped times. It pretty much means that one person can outlast everyone that is still left in the war, due to him having lots of resources. After ANOTHER 5 hours, I wouldn't have been too surprised if that one person would have been the only person left returning. And then what did that change, that one person returning while all of the other parts of the team gave up? Not a whole lot, if at the end of the day, he was the last one returning.
