I find it interesting that you've posted this topic. I have another friend in Dragonwood who is a fairly good sniper and I think it was DW vs SE matched opts? Not entirely sure. Either way, prior to his mistake, DW was up two people. Then he cabbage tele'd and DW lost their lead. Mind you, I'm only using DW as an example because this was the most recent I could think of. As others mentioned, it could be charisma. That extremely rare talent of just making everyone extremely pumped and positive. Or it could be skill, like losing a talented sniper in the middle of the fight. Lots of fights, especially middle-sized ones, hinge on very small details. That's why I don't envy the work of a fallin leader or a warlord--the amount of micromanaging that they have the capacity to do is staggering.

I believe this is a topic better suited for General Discussion. :) Moving it there for you, as it doesn't quite fit the theme in Help and Advice. I am all for being a kind person but I personally believe in the, "Teach someone to fish, and they'll eat for a lifetime" philosophy. I'd rather help them train (morale support, I mean!) than make them dependant on the generosity of others.

Considering within the past 3 months I've seen 3 different clans take #1 and add onto that fact that the point gap between the top 3-4 is very small indeed, it's still anyone's game. That's part of the TWR's charm. Say if this were a static ranking list, I'd personally say a clan like Crimson Raiders would be holding the top firmly. And TK wouldn't have had to war as hard, given such circumstances. Which do you think is better, eh? Mind you, I'm not saying TK is a bad clan, or that "CR pwnzors ppl lolzrRSAR!@#!" I'm just stating opinions and simply used CR as an example. I don't mind speculation topics such as these but the moment this starts turning into a recruitment topic and loses its discussion value, I won't hesitate to start removing posts.

I've removed the spam and trolling remarks needlessly posted here. I caution those who would post here to use your head before hitting the "Submit" button. Do you feel the need to defend your clan's reputation? That's alright, just watch how you say it. There's a line between defending yourself and your clan and making things personal just to take the sting from an outcome, win or lose--and that line has been crossed pretty clearly here by a few people. Keep this discussion moderately clean from here on out, guys. Points are as follows: TDMWL - 188, LND - 50 Close fight. Could've gone either way IMO.

DK must be really hurting for action if they had to crash an 11vs11. You would've thought that they'd have bigger fish to fry. Good job DA, another solid win for you guys.

However, LGZ was waiting a week for this war after agreeing to the rules. Because of this, LGZ will receive the default 50 participation points.
