I'm gone from here until I'm ready to come back.

...No one here has made fun of you, nor can I recall anyone doing so. >_> And I am not lying about respecting your opinion, regardless of what you think. I really, really think you're being overly sensitive :/ -

It happens to everyone, Blaze. If you want some giggles, you should look through my posting history. The amount of times I've made a complete ass out of myself due to misunderstandings is off the charts. It happens to everyone. Don' take it so seriously. -

The only context I have is that which you provided on this thread, where you make no mention of personal opinion but rather facts and the fact that "people are lying to you". You're getting upset with me for not knowing every minutia of your posting history. Believe it or not, I do not follow every single post you make on these boards. I have far better uses of my time. If you were talking all along about opinion, then what exactly is the problem? Why on earth are you ranting about elitism and that people are lying to you, when that couldn't be farther from the truth? Frankly this seems like a large series of miscommunications spiraling out of control. I really hope you can take some time to relax (I'll do the same) and that we'll chat later. I sincerely hope you do not cancel your membership for one or two people that you can easily put on your ignore list and continue to enjoy the RS community. -

If you LIKE the dbaxe, then I am not trying to prove you wrong. Like it all you want. Everyone is entitled to playing how they want. If you are trying to say that a dbaxe OUTPERFORMS an abyssal whip, that would be incorrect. If you are trying to recommend to others a dbaxe as an OPTIMAL CHOICE, that would be incorrect. And people will call you on it. Do you not see the difference? -

This is not ridicule though Blaze. You are presenting a statement as fact and it is being rebuked. If you have data to suggest that a dragon battleaxe outperforms a whip, then please explain how and in what scenarios. And it is not an opinion that an abyssal whip outperforms a dragon battleaxe in terms of dps. It IS a fact. What information do you have that suggests otherwise? But if you're talking about personal preference, then of course we can't say that an abyssal whip is better for you. You do what's best for you. -

I am very sorry Blaze. I'm not posting like this to kick you when you're down. I just believe you deserve honesty, even if it's harsh. So that's what I give. You're a good person and I admire your quirks, please don't think otherwise. -

Because if you're discussing utility, power, and comparative stats across tiers...it DOES suck. And you need to accept that while you're entitled to your opinion on what your favorite weapon is, although you are more than welcome to do just whatever the heck YOU want, recommending a dbaxe to anyone as a viable weapon choice it will be torn apart as being a poor choice. What exactly do you expect to have happen? More over, what do you want to see happen in those cases? -

You need to get thicker skin. That's really all there is to it. If you are putting your opinion out there on a public forum - be it in an IRL debate, in RS, on the forums, or even here - that opinion is there. People are allowed to discuss it, analyze it. You're doing it right now for another point of view that isn't your own, do you realize that? (Also, calling the opposition full of "lies and misinformation" is a hollow and incindiary statement - no one has lied to you here and I doubt they have elsewhere.) If people casually correcting you in these public discussions is how you judge harassment, I have good news for you. You have an ignore list - here, on RS, and practically on any form of online communication. Use it. I don't want you to leave. But maybe you need to take a break rather than carrying this chip on your shoulder into every discussion you wade into. Come back when you're a little more collected, you'll have a better time. -
That's not a solution to a problem. I don't want you to stop posting, just careful. >_> Here's a hint though: practically any rant topic can be polished up to be worth posting in General Discussion. Shift the focus from compaint to constructive and it's a more than acceptable GD topic. Keep posting because it's good to have active discussion, but just be a bit mindful. That's all.

If you're asking how they differ (you aren't, but let's pretend you actually know how to post in the right section for once), they have a different subset of puzzles, more steps to complete on average, combat encounters have a higher cmb, and the unique elite rewards are supposed to be some of the hardest to achieve. Again...all of this on the wiki, would literally take one second to look at. If you're just complaining about why elites aren't actually "elite" (which you are, shocker) then you've gone outside the scope of H&A and really shouldn't have posted here. Go post on the rants forum, where this should've been moved to in the first place.

L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L0L. Of course it had to be released through Solomon lmfao. [bleep]ing pathetic. Did you really need more than 5 already for bossing? >_> I kept 4 for bossing, 1 for dump/skilling/whatever. 1 for each of melee, range, and magic (slayer). 1 for general Melee pvm, 1 for shield pvm, 1 tds, 1 dg, 1 skilling. 5 was not enough from the start, even if I'm maybe going a bit overboard with my bars. We should have had 10 from the start to simply make things more convenient and not having to adjust the bar each time we want to fight or do something different. While I disagree I know that you're a very high-end bosser and I recognize that it's probably entirely different for that subset of people. My apologies, I did not mean to be insensitive. -

Did you really need more than 5 already for bossing? >_> I kept 4 for bossing, 1 for dump/skilling/whatever. I guess the main goal is to squeeze more money out of people willing to pay for excess shiny things that they don't really need :-D. I am/was satisfied with my humble 3 action bars on F2P even, granted we don't exactly do much bossing :P Well see I don't really have any issue for them charging something like this or bank presets. Those aren't necessary to the game, but they're convenient to have...but it's also an extra load to have the game memorize so many different presets for so many different accounts. What we get does the trick, and more is extra. Just like the price checker does the check for evaluating your wealth, but the wealth checker makes it easier. -

"In fact I think dungeoneering should be a mini-game not a skill. In fact it would work so much better as a mini-game. It would still be a bad mini-game but it would work better that way. Why do I hate this skill? Well it's simple, because it's just so dull. Demonhaven basically has the dull version of everything in the regular game. You have those dull monsters to fight those dull ores to use smithing with. Those dull types of fish. There just isn't anything in Demonhaven that's worth it to me. Now I'm aware that the skill can be rewarding. But I don't like it." So how much free time do you have before we get into this little tidbit?

Welcome back Teem...again! -
Of course that's what it says. I don't see any other way you could reasonably interpret it. 60k xp a week if you've found every single scroll, though, that's still not very impressive. It's going to be less than Tears if Guthix, certainly less than Jack of Trades, probably comparable to, like, the Jade Vine, maybe. And Jade Vines aren't exactly a premium D&D. 60k is fine considering the D&D is banking off several game play aspects such as slayer targets are training targets (mind you they were more sought after during the time of the D&D's release). The champions are still fairly easy to beat except a couple require some thought. Besides I'm pretty sure they are being generous with a slayer xp reward. Every slayer xp reward we get seems scaled to the likes of hp xp rewards. The D&D's reward is on par with other D&Ds (Urza's position) but the time and effort to unlock the full potential of this D&D is unlike any other and generally worthless to do given how hard champ scrolls are to obtain (Troaccid's position) So you're both right. Shocker.
-
If you unlock the scroll and kill the champion in the current game, you could never battle them again. It was a one time paltry reward. Now they're letting you fight champions you've already unlocked and defeated on a weekly basis as a distraction and diversion event. I don't think the article is clear on whether or not you can fight ALL the champions you've unlocked per week or just one. But yes, you can do that for the rest of your Runescape career by what the article says. Since it's a devblog though, everything is subject to change.

Treasure Hunter, not Treasure Chest. There is no other way to get it but through Treasure Hunter. Whether you spend money is entirely up to you and Help & Advice can't possibly help you with that. This information is readily available on the wiki if you took even a moment to look for it.

Wait, there's now a request for a museum? In a house? Have these kids writing up these ideas ever actually been to a museum or aquarium? Do they not get the size of them is generally as large as one average residential home all on its own E: if not much, much larger? This is getting ridiculous.

Update Aquarium – Player-Owned House Update
Kimberly replied to Howlin0001's topic in General Discussion
You're right, there are so many people choosing their max capes with simply using completionist cape overrides. That has to be it. Yep. YEP. Status is important but if comp was an arbitrary goal with no in-game Best-In-Slot incentivization, you wouldn't have as many comp capers. A reasonable (if nowhere near perfect) analogy to this is simply comparing the number of trimmed compers to regular comps. It simply doesn't make sense to claim any sort of primary motivation for achieving comp, certainly not one that is based entirely on perceived status. Human nature simply doesn't work that way. And no, I wasn't calling you a tryhard. -

...No I'm pretty sure I want that cape for its dank ass stats and features. I don't give a [bleep] what a little tryhard thinks of me. Assuming everyone wants it because of lolprestige is just poorly reasoned. -
