    Hardly surprised. It will be a cold day in hell when they have consistent enforcement on the subject. Meanwhile, everyone else is expected to ignore the elephant in the room and pretend that they're doing a marvelous job at enforcing this stance. It's frustrating as hell.

    You'll be happy to know they've released a Legacy combat mode that imitates the old style of combat (pre-eoc). That said, please don't bump old, answered question topics! I highly encourage you to create another topic if you have any questions regarding Legacy combat.

    Thing is, I think they really do try. But they have to direct the stories so they're ended in the way that allows them to continue with the creative department's overreaching goal. It's tough and its lead to some pretty unsatisfying moments when they have to justify some of the shinier tools made by the more technical departments, like Salt in the Wound, but there you go. :/
