  1. If you blow up the mailbox, they can't even deliver the mail.
  2. "Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow! You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout Till you have drenched our steeples, drowned the [roosters]! You sulphurous and thought-executing fires, Vaunt-couriers to oak-cleaving thunderbolts, Singe my white head! And thou, all-shaking thunder, Strike flat the thick rotundity o' the world! Crack nature's moulds, all germens spill at once That make ingrateful man!" - William Shakespeare, King Lear, 3.2.1
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't your girlfriend already have one? Or is this a different girl? If so, you should probably date girls less inclined to know about and be involved with every single aspect of your life. I think his girlfriend read his posts, but never made an account until now. Quick, delete your dirty posts before she sees them! To be entirely honest, I've already told her everything here and more. And I think she's just joined for the discussion. Hence why I'm not revealing her account's name. ...I hope that made sense. I'm typing this at midnight with an exercise filled 18 hour day behind me.
  4. I once chucked mine out due to a 65 in Spanish. Best bet? Don't dispose of it at home. Slip it in your pocket, and take it to a dumpster somewhere, shred it, and dump it in there. Gone forever. Also, less obvious than setting it on fire.
  5. My girlfriend made a Tip.it account.
  6. =D> EDIT: Well, I fell for that so ahrd someone else had to tell me what was going on. Well played, well played.

I think it was in this thread. Someone said something sexist is their history class and got sent out. I think it was me who said something along the lines of, "All the males would laugh and the females would hate." Here, Wongtong: http://forum.tip.it/topic/195466-today/page__st__9060__p__4096535entry4096535 It's on that page.

Than the Today thread? I think its only compition is the "Is God Real?" thread. I can't speak for stuff before 2006 though. And mentioning that, wow. I've been in TIF for over 4 years. Damn time sure flies. There was the "Ever Caught Them?" thread, but I forgot entirely how far that thread went in both of it's reincarnations. I remember reading that thread when I lurked OT for the first time. I'm pretty sure the second one has ~40 pages. ...What a way to be introduced to Off Topic....
  9. Exorcists. :twss:
  10. #-o On that note, are kookaburras turning into a new Tip.it meme? OT: I practically had a heart attack looking at that hole. It's things similar to this that made people believe in demons and the underworld back in the day.
  11. Well, I'm still going strong with my significant other. We've actually been planning on a schedule of daily meet-ups to replace schools since April.

If you have a public pool nearby, establish visiting it every other day with some friends as a tradition. It's mad fun.

Before you hate upon someone for simply having a low post count, remember that we were all there once. This coming from a guy with >1k posts.

Sounds familiar... Okay so today I got this text message at school saying "yo me and ribs got the goods" from some number I didn't recognize. I replied "Who are you?" and they replied "I know it's you Big Man!" This snowballed into a conversation of about 30 texts of this woman getting mad at me. Apparently my name is Big Man and I sold weed to her fiancee "Lil Hatchet." Then she sent other texts along the lines of texts "I know it's you Big Man, I'm out for blood tonight." ...wtf. She called but I didn't answer. :? ...How the heck do you get the nickname "Lil Hatchet?"

I found it far too funny that the link says "nger-found-dead." Today, I posted a Facebook status mourning a man who was alive, but realized this in time to delete said status before it was read.

  19. ^So, I've had the wrong definition for 'schizophrenia' in my internal dictionary for ages. It makes you wonder how many times you've made an arse of yourselff.
  20. I thought babies came out of their mother by ripping a hole through their mom's stomach. That's a C-section.
  21. ^I thought babies were born by the mother pooping them out. -I believed that Harry Potter was real, and was hoping I wasn't a muggle. -My vocabulary is hidnered by me forgetting a word until after I need it. "He was a... uhm... when they have multiple personalities..." "No clue what you mean." Conversation moves on, and around five minutes later: "A schizophrenic! That's it!" -It took me four months to figure out the name of a girl I was crushing on, as every time I was told it, I'd forget. (Now my girlfriend  ) -I once thought someone was another person who I knew. (Who looked quite different.) And only realized it when I mentioned karate lessons to her. (The person I thought she was took them with me.) I'm sure I have more, but....
  22. How often are halluciantions accompanied by amnesia? I figure with the pool of people tif has, someone might at least have a suggestion. No need to be so cynical. That's not cynicism: it's wisdom and common sense. Take your GF to the doctor. QFT. For something like this, I hate to be blunt but the internet is the wrong place to ask for advice. She strongly dislikes psychiatrists.... <_< Hopefully it just won't happen again....

  24. This just ahppened to my girlfriend (let's call her 'Amber'), and it's freaking us both out a little. Backstory: Amber has had hallucinations before, generally during the Summer. However, she hadn't been having them recently. Her hallucinations are generally sounds. Here's an approximate time frame of what happened: 6:53- She comes back from dinner. Apparently, she was half sitting, half lieing down in her sister's bedroom, when she had a hallucination of some sort. She couldn't recall it well, but remembered a woman. What she recalled most clearly was a voice whispering "What...?" into her ear. We begin talking about this, me offering possible explanations, and just generally doing my best to be comforting, as she seems upset. I'd started playing a game while she was gone, and was playing it between messages. After I send her a large paragraph emssage on how I'd do my best to help, she stops replying for 18 minutes. 7:07 is when she stopped. At 7:25 she returns with the message: "Wait, what're we talking about?" Apparently she forgot not only the converation, but also most of the details about us spending the day together earlier, until she was reminded. I then told her I was asking you guys about this and asked her for a summary of what happened: "I heard a voice not really saying intellgible things, I remember eating dinner, and then... I "disappear" for twenty minutes. That's pretty much the extent of it." As you can see, this is a lot less detailed than what she'd originally said.... We've came up with ideas ranging from ghost possesion to passing out ehre, but nothing really fits. Can any of you guys offer an idea? *Note: When Amber falls asleep, she feels drained/in a bad mood/etc. Even a twenty minute nap would cause this. And she wasn't feeling any of that. Although she did say she was feeling out of character. If you need to know anything more, just ask and I'll do my best to supply the information. We're rather weirded out here.... **Sorry for typos in my post, as I typed this rather quickly. I got rid of all the ones I saw, but didn't actually spellcheck. Oh, and I refuse to alter quotes by removing typoes.

By wearing a towel! How else! Today I did revision. I am very scared about my History tomorrow. :( I carried a towel with me all day today. As did a buddy of mine who is in most of my classes. Oh, it's Geek/Nerd pride day today, as well. Geek Pride Day ^And am I the only one who thinks that the comic that man is reading looks inappropriate?
