Things that fit the theme of the RS fantasy world.
So I'm making a thread on what would seem realistic to implement into the world of RS, not really suggestions but like for example I think horses would fit perfectly into the RS theme. This is my list Horses Necromancy Belts Arrow Holders that go on the back <---forgot what they're called. Samurai Swords Nunchuks lol maybe not Bubonic Plague! Taxes! Also, what do you think about some more controversial things like old style guns. Example would be the Arquebus. So basically give your thoughts on what you think belongs in RS, or maybe whats in RS but shouldn't be there, or even things that should never be implemented into RS (for example maybe you really hate the idea of necromancy or something)

200M in all Skills
@@@@ Holy crap, xp record right there. I'm going to lol when he comes back due to free trade, and reclaims rank 1, does anyone know why he quit in the first place?

An epic glitch that has, sadly, just been patched.
Took a while to load but l0l at the pro mining animation. Jagex really does seem to neglect the tons of POH glitches for some reason. I don't have a Demonic Throne, but for those who do have one, it must get annoying when people make them temporarily disappear.

200M in all Skills
I hope so, currently none of the top 15 have over 50m RC, except Zarfot who has 56M. Although Dapledo has 70M(69.9M atm) RC. I'm thinking effigies would probably be best used in Slayer, considering a small amount of Agility XP will be done with fishing. Does anyone know the potential RC XP for blood/zmi runners? Although I definitely think effigies would be best in Slayer or Agility, and none of the other skills.

200M in all Skills
um im not trolling just stating the obvious doesnt tkae a genius 2 kno tht drumgun is inefficient all u gotta do is look him up and then you'll be like omfg 200m in all cmb then u check his slay and ur just like *facepalm* campers<slayers You do seem to forget to realize, that even though Drumgun doesn't have 200m Slayer, he'll never have to train strength/defence/attack/magic/Range(soon)/summoning/HP ever again. So I think hes still at a really good point to get all 200m, not to mention that the only combat skill he has after Range, is prayer, and imo Drumgun, will be one of the greatest fighter in RS(just like Deja Vu Xii) , because he has mastered every combat skill to the max. I will be a little disappointed if Drumgun doesn't follow up on Prayer. The same goes for S U O M I, he will never have to do Agility/Mining/Fishing again, and even if those skills get a update, that fact is he has them done period. I'd say that any players looking for huge amounts of XP in a short time will not be the first player to 200m (which is why I'm glad Telmomarques is doing a skill like slayer, because it proves that the slower skills won't burn him out), just because they'll have a lot bigger obstacles ahead. Also, efficiency is different in everyones eye, because if we go by your definition of efficiency, like someone mentioned a few pages ago, then that player would spend most of his time not playing RS, but waiting for updates to benefit training of a particular skill. First to 200m skills will not be a contest of efficiency but a contest of who can put in the most time into the game. Also a note to the guy I quoted, when a lot of people look up Drumgun, they don't go facepalm, but more of like damn this guy has put some crazy time into this game.

Does Free Trade entail No GE Buy limits?
I think that would be a bad idea with free trade, because a manipulation clan would have a lot easier time buying out the GE, then a high end merchers can create "fake" street prices saying battle staves are 20kea or something crazy like that. But who knows could be better w/ caps on some items.

Free Trade What are you gonna buy.
I'm going to get into staking, I've been f2p/under 60cb 5/7 years Ive been playing, so I never got to explore the concept of member staking (don't even know if you could stake in F2P lol) which sounds amazing. I never wanted to do pking just because of the chance someone could forfeit the fight, wasting time. So basically, I'm going to buy staking gear and supplies.

Tip.It Times - 16th January 2011
The 2nd Article means a lot to me. I'm an avid fan of Dungeoneering, but I do agree that Dungeoneering begins to become a joke. I also feel the XP rates are bit unfair. I'm one of those players that don't have a set playing time, I'll often put in a 10hr RS day, but then not play for an entire week, or I'll play like 20mins a day, and It would be nice to be able to solo a medium sized dungeon but get decent XP? Also, imo the skill is waaaaaay to fast, just a giant grind for many maxed players, which I felt the whole presence of Dungeoneering was supposed to be the anti-grind feeling. I think its safe to assume that 70% of the people with 120 Dungeoneering have gotten at least 50M+ xp in a single month, half the way to 120. I got 99 Dungeoneering back before occult came out, and I had a lot more fun playing Dungeoneering. Nowadays if you don't complete a Dungeon in under 20 mins, which I think averaging 20mins is an exaggeration, unless you have a permanent team, your considered a noob. I think it would be nice if DG xp never got so fast after the new floors, so the higher level DG community wouldn't see DG as a grind. If DG was maybe 80k/hr it would put a lot of hardcore grinders off, and the would avoid the skill. Also, c1s existed back at 35 prestige but its a very failed concept, where designing those floors almost become a waste of time, although I heard f1 on 60 prestige is 77k, so people just love grinding for some reason. IMO 77k is a great floor compared to the 30-50k/floor back at f35 prestige. But this is my opinion and I'm just very anti-grinding.

What is your TRUE Combat Level
I don't think weapons/armour should play a role in combat levels, because everyone is capable of getting any tradable item, if they worked hard enough. If you can't get 200k Tokens for a chaotic weapon, then you sir are very very lazy, or have some crazy condition that few people have. However Herblore is a very strange skill to me, it heavily influences combat, as see herblore as almost a 2nd Prayer. However Herblore being a skill and not in the combat formula, adds more a uniqueness to the game. Plus herblore doesn't really become a huge factor until you can make those high level untradable potions. I think it would be nice though to see herblore affordable, but slow like at maybe 50k/hr. Would be really nice for the poor people like me. lol

Does Free Trade entail No GE Buy limits?
I think they should be removed, or else well see mega manipulation. MARK MY WORDS

200M in all Skills
I wonder if being rank 1 on the hiscores (especially in S U O M I's case), has huge advantages. I mean imagine how much money Zezima or even Gertjaars would get if they asked for donations. Also all the ess runners, would want trade you, just for being so famous.

Rise in bone prices?
most stakers will still stake shields off O ye dem 2h weps. Can't really think of any good 1h KO weapons. Korasis? Maybe the Chaotic Longsword would be good for 1h staking, lol but wrong thread.

Wilderness and Free Trade will return - 17 January 2011
lol Corrupt discontinued? I doubt it but would be funny as hell.

Rise in bone prices?
I think Bones will rise, because of people wanting turmoil, and bones maybe a little harder to obtain. However does anyone think D-Claws, Hand-Cannons will skyrocket due to staking?

Wilderness and Free Trade will return - 17 January 2011
I'm glad they brought it back, and also I'm glad they used this as a publicity stunt, because I'm one of those people who favor the more the merrier, the more being people. Also, 2 weeks is an awesome deadline, I didn't think they'd have it out until summer, so we can assume Jagex had the coding done and was going to release this no matter what. However, we still don't know if there are strings attached, this free trade maybe something weird, because unless they changed something, they're are going to have the exact same scams they had last time. Really the best way to stop credit card fraud is to have RS playable by their RS game cards, however this would be hugely inconvenient for most people.

Do Spirit Kyatts work, had to use those for Nomad.

How will the players that joined RS after 2008 react to the return of wildy/free trade?

What will make you quit RS
Well I haven't played nor gained any XP in over a month, besides the Christmas Event, because I think it's losing its flare. Why? Grinding - It's a part of RS and I think its almost impossible to train w/o grinding however I think it's getting more and more ridiculous. Downers - Ye people are going to hate me but I feel that a lot of RS players make the gameplay more depressing. Friends - They pretty much all quit. Can't Keep Up - No offense but tons of people are putting in 8+ hrs everyday, which makes achievements less amazing because so many people have them. (look at DG hiscores) I think RS needs something that takes skill and not time played, like staking, that is why I'm probably going to take a break until staking is back! However I may not even come back! I however still going to log on for holidays for as long as I can, and I'm still going to follow that 200m skills thread.

200M in all Skills
I think at the moment, Telmomarques has the best chances at 200m in all skills, because he has proven to do some slow skills and stick with them, like getting 94m Dungeoneering XP back at 35 prestige, and his current slayer progress. He is like Drumgun, and shatters the records in the skills he chooses to grind. However S U O M I, has agility/fishing/mining all at 200m, and will never have to do those again. RC will be pretty much shot as a slow skill if free trade is brought back, so Effigies would be best used in Agility I suppose, or maybe slayer? Skiller has a gigantic amount of XP, but we will have to see how he fairs on the slower skills. Jdelacroix, same as Skiller. Drumgun has a good chance, however has a huge slayer disadvantage, and I'm not sure if he would enjoy doing Slayer without gaining any additional CB xp. Maybe he can chill with his Gf in sw or something, and get a bunch of xp in zeal. Elvis, I don't see him at all 200ms for some reason.

200M in all Skills
I thought fishing was slower than agility?

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
Apparently Jagex recently posted a list of players with the most wealth (Alchemy wise), on the max total forums. ^ This is coming from the 200m in all skills forum. So I'm thinking they maybe able to combat rwt through the value of your banks wealth. Another point to bring up is that what If you would want to give an RS friend 1m, to help them get started or something. I've seen 99 videos where people were given pieces of bandos as a present.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Fairly uneducated post but well just have to live with that. You just have to think- do these people want to junk trade? in all likelyhood, no. But why, then, were they doing it? I think the answer lies i that question. I don't find how it is very uneducated, sure people did junk trade if they wanted a rare, but they weren't forced into it. Somebody had to start this trend anyway, so again point out the false parts of my post. As it stands right now, with junk the street values of rares is way higher than it should be in reality, and I predict that the rares will bump a bit, but won't reach anywhere near there street values currently. I do agree that today's Street Prices were created by merchanters abusing the system, I mean 10B for a Blue Phat doesn't make any since. Since the minority owns PHATs they get to put street prices to whatever they want them to be, because the GE doesn't update fast enough. I'm hoping that if they restore free trade it will bring street value to a more reasonable prices. I suppose what xpx said would be reasonable considering people can make 300m/month. I also don't see RWT devaluing rares, because 1m before GE was 3-5$. So imagine the Blue Phat being 1.5B street price, it would cost someone 4500-7500$ to purchase, and I highly doubt that many people would ever consider paying that much for an in-game item.

The Future Runescape Economy
I think so I doubt it tbh because pre GE Santas were 20m, but nowadays almost everyone who seriously plays RS has 20m+. My Predictions Santa/Masks 100-200m Phats 500m-1b

New RuneScape trailer
Damn Rs chicks need more armor like that in game.
