  1. I hope street prices become close to what they were pre wild, but there is so much cash from GE abuse, that it would be hard for prices to go back to what they used to be.
  2. I hope manipulation clans fall, and rares drop to what they should be. 10b for blue phat is stupid and arrogant
  3. I like how easy the GE makes things, but I dislike it can ruin the prices of things. Example, would be manipulation clans. I feel that the GE would be perfect if it couldn't be abused. I also think the GE throws street prices out of whack. I lol at the thought of Blue Phat being 10B. Edit: 10m to 10b
  4. I think if targets dropped what was in their inventory/wearing than pking would become more popular. I think it would be really hard to RWT, in a highly populated BH world. Someone could wait for the target to be the person they want to RWT with, but who would go through all the trouble, would probably take an entire day or more to get the person your going to RWT as your target. Assuming BH worlds are very populated, and the players are around your combat level.
  5. The Zgs for 16.4m could have been a coinshare drop? Also I like the theory that was posted earlier in this thread is Player A 1:00PM Buys 600 Anvantoe max Player B 1:01PM Buys 600 Avantoe max Player C 1:05PM Sells 10 Avantoe for max Player A 1:05PM Receives 10 Avantoe and is dropped to the bottom of the que line. Player D 1:06PM Sells 5 Avantoe for max. Player B 1:06PM Receives 5 Avantoe and is dropped to the bottom of the que line. Therefore Player A will receive the next herb sale before Player B. ^ This theory would also making since if using multiple boxes, if multiple boxes counted as a separate offer. Best way to prove this is to watch the GE Update offers in the message box.
  6. 120 Skills pl0x and solution to botting and the GE.
  7. Ever report those obvious green drag/sorc garden bots, just to see them not get banned? My theory is that some of the executives from Jagex are running these so called Gold-Farming websites. It's truly astonishing how there so many bots at Green Drags/Sorc Garden, and Jagex hasn't done much about it. Most people believe that a bot is some kid downloading a botting program and has it running overnight/during school, but it's actually the software of the goldfarming website using these accounts to train cb/get coins. If you try to buy 1m coins from a website they'll need to temporary borrow your account, I think they play it safe and use about 2-4hrs/mil.; should be possible from grabbing herbs/killing green drags. Reporting: Who Gets Banned? Often those that do dl botting software will get banned, because Jagex will only lose about 6$/month or 0 if the acc is a F2P bot. However if you buy services from a goldfarming website you will most likely not get banned because Jagex is getting their 6$/month + continuous gold farming purchases. Excpetions, everynow and then Jagex will ban one of their goldfarming customers because they need to send a positive message to the players that are against botting. I mean if you get banned for goldfarming, you ofc wouldn't use that goldfarming site again, but you also can't complain to Jagex because you were playing against the RS rules. RWT and WILDY UPDATE: Some would say why would Jagex remove wildy if the above was true. Simply, eleminate all the third-party botting competition, leaving more people to use Jagex gold farming websites. Those that know the best about how RS operates, are those who helped create RS, and they'll have an easier time coding bots to run on their own game. However Jagex has released their botting software so that other people will try to bot w/o paying, giving Jagex a group of people they can ban, which gives a positive message to people who area against botting. Conclusion -- Well Played Jagex Botting is stupid, and if tou are going to bot why play RS in the first place, all it proves is that your irl isn't going to well, and your seeking fast e-appreciation. Good Game botters l2rl.
  8. Reminds me of the idea that when you shuffle Ipod music it tends to play songs that have a bunch of play counts, leaving you to enjoy your ipod a lot more. Perhaps Jagex has some intense system that measure how often you play per month, and how you tend to renew membership. Example So say I'm going on 3 days of mem left, and I'm not using a continuing payment source. My time/day has been decreasing over the past month. I happen to get a hard clue scroll, perhaps the probability of me not renewing membership increases the chance of a rare 3rd age piece = me getting excited enough to greatly increase my chance of renewing my membership = 6 irl $ for jagex.
  9. I'm not sure about the idea for mage, but sometimes I think they should have made the combat skills completely different than the regular skills. HP 1-99 Melee--- Slash Att Stab Att Crush Att Slash Def Stab Def Crush Def Strength Mage--- Mage Att Mage Str Mage Def Range--- Range Att Range Str Range Def Summ Summ Def All of the combat skills excluding HP/PRAY/SUMM should go to lvl 70 but go off a different xp formula, lvl 70 = 7.2m XP. However jagex should not implement this because it would be an entirely different game, but would have made the game more customizable if implemented at the beginning. I dont know to much about how summoning Att and Str is calculated.
  10. --Assassin5757 I originally wanted Assassin7979, but it was taken... --AssassinTrex Meh Wanted a name w/o #'s and T-rexs are cool. --T-rexGoRawr Kind of amusing. --T-rexUhmRawr Like to change my name. --BioAssassinX lol idk why was trying to get "7th Assassin" --SftwEftwX meh --OooSoEoXooO lol meh again --Pinata For some reason this name wasn't taken and so I grabbed it. --RandomPinata meh idk why I did this --Pinata Change back --Africans4sel Friends name was iselAfricans --Pinata Not going to change until I get a cooler name like Assassin(Would never ever change) or something like "7".
  11. +6 Strength Bonus meh Once again Jagex sucks up to Dragonfire Shields, just like when they removed the +7 Strength bonus from the chaotic kiteshield.
  12. I'm not sure if this is the right forum area, but I would like to know if anyone has cracked down the DG formula I know some hidden factors is the "average combat at the end of the dungeon" and the number of rooms left unopened affects the XP also (not talking about the bonus room xp)
  13. Meh you're right misread the question, the first post answers no to the question so kind of confusing.
  14. I think the only effect would be on players who are just starting out, because they wouldn't have the time put into RS, so they wouldn't have much to lose if they switched MMORPGs. Although I'm really glad Mechscape didn't come out, because I do think because it's Jagex owned it would have had a huge impact.
  15. I would have to say No, because most RS players don't even use RSOF let alone fan sites.
  16. [citation needed]. do you realize this game is nearly 10 years old and that getting 2100 total in 10 years requires far less than 36 hours a week? if you expect others to recognize your personal achievements in a game, then you're doing it wrong. Well most people above 2.1k total probably haven't been playing for 10 years. I'm roughly 2k total and have achieved that within 5 years, also considering half of my overall XP is on the XP counter, meaning I've mostly been active for 1 year. I agree you with you that you shouldn't play RS by how you think others will think of you, which is why I find efficiency not a major part of RS. I understand that being efficient is a good thing, because it would be idiotic to burn oak logs to 99 Firemaking when willows are more XP and cheaper. The problem is that most people boast about how efficient they're and how they maxed combat in under 1 month. It's annoying when people say "o 99 cooking is easy because I was able to do it in a single week." Its kinda hard to think of the old community though, I think the people with the best insights are those who started playing around 20 or so and are still playing, because I'm sure their maturity level hasn't drastically changed. I'm 19 now and I'm sure back when I was 14 my maturity level was a lot different. In fact when were speaking about how the community is getting worse its odd that no-one brings up the fact that b4 trade limit there was tons and tons of scammers. I.E. Trust game or the stand on opp side of bank and say selling tile 1m and have friend saying buying tile 4m.
  17. I think the biggest problem with the community is expectations. People expect you to have gotten multiple 99s. People expect you to have train one skill at a time. People expect you to have a 50m+ Bank. This is the current community "How long does 99 Firemaking take? "Where can I make fast cash?" "What should I merch?" " Why don't you hunt chinchompas instead?" "lol noob ur not 99str?" "I got 99 woodcutting in 1 week" Them: Hi, nice cape. You: Thx Them: Add me? Also people nowadays put way to much time into RS. I'd say the average player above 2.1k total that still plays puts in an average of 6+ hrs 6 days a week. So nothing is really an achievement when literally every single cape except for 120DG can be obtained in a month. Although 120DG can be obtained in like a month and a half. The only person who will recognize your achievement is you or someone who is striving for the same thing or has gotten the same thing. Example would be: Player A.) Has 99 Slayer Player B.) Has no ambition for 99 Slayer. Player A.) Wears Slayer Cape. Player B.) lol slayer can get be gotten in like a month or lol no life 99 slayer go outside or Player A.) Has 99 Slayer Player B.) Wants 99 Slayer Player A.) Wears cape. Player B.) Wow dude nice cape, blah blah blah 2 mins later add me? Player A.) Likes the feeling of respect and continues grinding at RS.
  18. Amazing how first page Dungeoneering ranks are already all 200m, they should make the skill go to 500m. It's interesting to see that many players put in more time every day than players such as Zarfot and skiller. So first to 200m in all skills could be claimed by anyone.
  19. Level 3 training Dungeoneering beats it in almost every aspect.
  20. Hmm, I suppose your right is 70%, 30% lol my bad. lol maybe korasis sword is similar to nomads attacks? Anyways, damage soaking will be a nice feature, although regenerating HP faster as your HP level increases would be really nice, considering HP is really only good for lowering your chances of being koed.
  21. Well, I know for a fact Dungeoneering isn't done because, they still haven't concluded the story line, which is supposed to be the final update. I wouldn't see the conclusion being a quest because 120 Dungeoneering shouldn't be a quest requirement. I think to fix binds, having different load outs at the beginning of each dungeon would be great. Stealing Halo Reach idea. Could have # of load outs follow the bind pattern. Making more of the dungeon items more useful. In reality you would only need 3 loadouts Keyer/c1- Hood+Primal Baxe + Prim kite or (prim plate + grab antifire at Beginning) + laws Occult - Hex + saggi top + hood+ saggi p++ arrows (really only 1-2 people need this class) Melee - hood + prim 2h + prim plate + surgebox/laws/arrows Mage Pures - hood+celestial top+ doomcore + surgebox
  22. Burden of proof. Your the one [cabbage]ting contrary to all past evidence, its your job to prove yourself right. Until then, i'm going by the logical assumption that korasis works like any other weapon, with no exclusive damage reduction. I'm going to have to agree with TheAncient, because your magical defence is based off your magic skill and not your Defence skill. For example if you ever see those 133 shades in demonheim, you could use pro range to block its ranged attack, and Augury to greatly reduce its magic attack, although if you don't do much dps, you will waste a lot of prayer. I think Korasis sword may have the same effects as bloodvelds. Pro melee blocks att 100&, but magic armor reduces damage w/o pro melee. Someone should try Pro melee while wearing d-hide and using augury or other magic increasing skills.
  23. Shade robes were like 25k for each piece! And now I have an useless item "An Empty Box" which was 1m back then and now in current times it's untradable.
  24. I write kinda weird when I'm tired, but I don't really see Serpenttine as a big threat, because he doesn't seem to put in the same amount of time compared to other players.
