Mining pickaxes
whatever you do, don't use the SC pick on coal, it's absolutely atrocious bonus exp, and drains as quick as anything else.

Noobs say the funniest things!
Considering 99 is graced as such with long running and high leveled players, not a bad choice.

15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
Yay, finding 3 or four assisters will be nothing compared to the weekly penguin hunt whenever one of these drops for me, and may enable me to get my summoning up at a half reasonable pace now. There are plenty of people high level enough... say if it needs woodcutting, just ask the person with woodcutting cape at ivy... say it needs runecrafting, well, two people teleport to you clambering for it.

14th June 2010 - Guaranteed Content Poll: Halloween 2010 Reward
I'd like bandages, take them and lay around in the duel arena hospital after a particularly hard boss fight or such. Skeletal puppy may be nice, but I really don't have pets out anymore.

Picking up greens and golds
I've got a total of 200 charms since the free xp weekend, where I got level 67 summoning... of COURSE I pick them up. It's where all my bonus exp goes as well.

Sorry, but he never makes a personal appearance in the court room.

09-Jun-2010 - Castle Wars Kill Streak Competition
Even better yet, if one person can get enough clan mates togeather in support, they can spent the entire game barraging the max amount of people - who have explosive potted themselves nearly to death in the first place. Hard to find a clear enough hour, but placing the large disadvantage to the enemy team should let most of the serious public players be on your side to keep the random people busy.

Tip.It Times - 30th May 2010
Rangers also have their place in castle wars. Melees usually go solo, and rangers like to stick to teams, or on the walls defending the front, so someone charging at them might not reach or just get 1-2 swings.

Questing Rampages
I always crank out the quests when I can, but you kind of slow down when there are only masters and grandmasters left. After a while or so of flaunting my quest cape, I'll probably promote Kalafai to my main account to rage through the quests again.

Noobs say the funniest things!
Better than that, before trade restrictions, I was out in f2p with my steel hatchet. Eventually one of those very noobs gave me 50k for it. I thought it was worth the trip back from lumbridge to get another.

mini-RANT
I find the mining guild useful actually, if I superheat it all into bars, then I can stay for quite a while. Might even forgo banking and run up to the mine's anvil since I already have runes to alch the platebodys I'd make. Crafting guild had it's use for me for about 10 levels, mostly for the gold there. Warriors guild... well, lets face it, everyone just spams mithril animated armour til they have enough tickets for the reward. Runecrating has it's uses - astral teletab ftw! Hung out in the cooking guild making apple pies for a while. Magic guild... I can't even find the guy to buy battlestaves from anymore...

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
You need to reset the puzzle, you are out of moves. The lower left and right spots, with the yellow arrows, if you connect to those, you get additional moves. As well, it's a good idea to prepare to swap back and forth from the pillar to the far mechanism easily, since you will need to do it a lot. My elemental key disappeared.

27-May-10 Castle wars improvements
It seems small games will get you a much better chance to unlock capes. I wonder what the set effects are. Well, off to get a flag runner cape.

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
[spoiler=on the infinite moves trick]Yeah, apparently engaging both tickerboxxes at the same time strips the counter mechanism... making you wonder what it was there for in the first place. Jam the motor and get a perpetual motion machine? I may have skipped mechanics 101 that day, but something don't sound right about it.

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
Remember the apparently useless shield became key for stopping ice breath. For all we know this could be the best armour ever for making corporeal beast do half damage later this week. But for the only stat being magic defense... couldn't I just wear druid robes or anything to get that and more at 33 defense. (for the whole set?) Body body was kinda cheezy, but if the quest line is 5 long, it would have possibly been better to have boots/gloves then a skirt first. Boots might be useful, actually, easily coming to highest magic defense for the slot. But danm, really, can't we get an instruction manual for this machine rather than a picture that might be "how to operate a lever"? And the camera angles kinda suck, if you use the overview (which took me five minutes to find) so you can actually see into the pit, several levers are obscured, and a tile is compleatly hidden, not to mention you can't see the actual number on the counter. I do however, want to have a bossfight against crazed half elemental mindless apprentice (because of course his arm is replaced with blood metal [dragonite bar?])

Dungeoneering Invisible Boss Glitch.
Try switching your rendering engine around? From dirrectx to open GL, or even Safe?

How to get multiple Rings of Kinship
I'm pretty sure you don't even keep the same ring, but always have all yours destoryed and get the inside/outside ring.

beast house location
I'm still using Sumona for slayer, so polvonivich for me. Has proven useful elsewise to have a teleport to the region as well.

mini-RANT
Pretty much every feature of the ranging guild needs a re-work, from only one type of reward (throwing axes) having any value at all, to their micro games being broken (hourly respawn, and despawn of tower archers), to just the trashy look of the place itself. I think rather than complain about any one feature, most players would just call for a re-write of the area.

Training range on f2p
You may also want to try buying iron arrows in the GE. If you'll notice, a bar of bronze is worth more than a bar of iron. So of course no one makes bronze arrows.

Monkey Madness musing
MEP2 is hard because of the agility skill check mainly, and the fact that you have to make it three times. If you have a much higher than minimal agility, you'll only be under a little pressure from the shadows. If you are potting up to the requirement, prepare to make three trips, pray melee, and run out of food several times.

12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
The blood necklace for the stats, no. For the special that heals you up so you aren't snacking heim crabs the whole way through, yes.

Monkey Madness musing
One of the things about Monkey Madness is that it takes some skill to do, rather than skills. The long windy dungeon can be a test of patience under pressure, as with protect from melee, a plank, sharp eyes, and some decent timing on your clicks, you can get through without taking a single point of damage, (preemptively one hitting spiders should help against poisons) and you have a numbers advantage over the boss if you act calmly. As for Dream Mentor, well, really, I had to level into better options for healing, as I had never developed brew downing skills to that point.
