as I dont have soul split, I try and keep my cannon topped up to avoid prime moving off of it. With soul split, I'd imagine you'd just let them all shoot off on spinos/rex/supreme.

"burstinglobs" cc is good for door partners. Suiciders aren't really relevant anymore, and solo maging will be better money then teaming.

DKs are your best option unless you do a significant amount of leveling.
