As the time comes once again to be f2p in order that I can focus on schooling I might take the time to learn how to pk. Wanna bet that someone would still rant about it? I think it would be okay to give them to the f2p. Maybe that would make the rune javelin drops more worthwhile to pick. Members would only be happy to see them go because they are useless.. They are very much useless in the case of the spear because its already outclassed, but think in terms of the rune knifes and spears that could increase the max hit of rangers by quite a bit further making mage less powerful. Even with all that though I still think that they should be f2p, because maging in f2p against a melee or a ranger is a fail anyway at this point. Why not at least make the ranger have better ko potential then he/she currently has.

These spells rock..period, there is no way to say otherwise. Even if f2p mage wasn't sucky these spells would still be awesome to see in game

I believe that there was a awesome calc for superheating and alching profit in the aow possibly but i'm unsure where it was. If anyone could help me that would be very appreciated

oh in that case its probably because it has a good stab bonus/ attack that might be better against plate armor Are you sure it was not the Gravite Rapier?

Longsword has a higher strength bonus with comparable speed. That is to say that its not that much slower also i believe that they are risking less as the longsword is 19k and the scimmy is 25kish

This is a great addition to the firemaking skill, one that doubtless many runescapers have wished and hoped for (myself included). Though as a counterpart of the fire arrows I do believe that Ice Arrows exist and may or may not be used in the Temple of Ikov quest. They are stolen from chests around where there are ice spiders I believe. Also I have heard hearsay that these arrows do provide higher hits on lava monsters then their ranged str says but i think that its just lies or something of the sort. checking rune wiki about them atm. Edit the do not do extra damage according to rune wiki so if this update was made they probably should :) -racer

Try to Mage a boss besides Rex at all and your sad as heck. Also in theory shouldn't full mage armor have at least 100 melee defense and no range defense. Those stats just seem right to me taking in the fact that they can bind and freeze minimizing the hits taken. Otherwise i'm not too sure about mage armor. I would rather have the ability to drain run energy

I was wondering if I turn off defensive casting will i get the same magic exp or more magic exp and no defense exp. I would rather just use a whip to get defense exp if i'm going to get more magic exp by turning it off

How come when we die we are suddenly wisped away to some town instead of the afterlife? How come when I run my 3 years of cross country experience makes me go no faster then everyone else? How come you can shoot 2 arrows at once on the dark bow and have them go different angles yet still hit the same target every single time?

Farming is really a great skill (working on the quest cape level atm). Training wise you shouldn't try to train farming as an expensive skill and rather stick to mainly herbs with few tree runs to make profit certain. Even though the content for farming ends somewhere around spirit trees you should still train the skill as much as you desire because if jammyflex adds new content you could really stand to make a profit if you can plant/use it as soon as it comes out. :thumbsup:

the zammy bow is pretty much the ags of range and just has not been established as such. With either dragon arrows or zammy arrows it can hit 400's normally plus possible elemental spec, add the special attack in there and you can be K.O.ing people from as much as 90 hp in all possibility. I see this bow more as a pking weapon and not as a rushing one though it could be really effective at both. As for the sara and guthix bows they are going to be a buy for me while range slaying. Edit realized that my max hits were off lcool is right

its only really good for monsters who drop little else except gems and half keys and such. I use it on tasks where all they drop is from that rare drop table i.e. demon tasks

well you can range some of them in the mining cavern below (I want to say nezzy) and there are safespots and good loot as well. you could cancel/burthrop the task if you haven't done smoking kills

Ok last time I tried this miniquest I died on bronze dragons when I forgot my shield. Now that i'm 105 cb I'm pretty sure i can do it properly but the thing is, I can't find where to start. Surok isn't at the statue or anything. Help me please. Do I have to start where i died last time? whats the deal? besides the ovbious need of a antidragon shield or pot is there somthing that I can't live without? Thanks for all the help -Racer434
