I restarted again, because I made a stockpile over two hundred square feet for wood, and told my woodcutter to clear cut the entire area. Then my miners would only lift wood, and I could never get my farming started. On this new map, I'm sure I can do it though. :thumbup:

Well this is interesting. I've stockpiled two hundred units of gold, but then my dwarves starved because I couldn't make a farming plot in time. I sorta left my computer for ten minutes to make a snack. :-X

The room has to be with soil right? No rock?

I'm sorta confused about making an underground farm. I need to muddy the soil, I think?

Nex, I think that you can name your Fortress. Uhhhh I guess (to Edel), but with all this Dwarf Fortress stuff, I figured it would be best to wait until it cooled down before I went ahead. Besides, if you have the rule behind you, then there's no need to ask permission from me. :)

I had to abandon mine because my dwarves didn't have any plump helmet seeds for some reason. No foodies. :(

I use imperial measurements, so if someone uses metric, I'll need to figure out a conversion. :)

-Edel Edel walks for a while on the road, past some burned forest, before reaching an abandoned mine. -Cavernites As the rat pack begins to decend, the group begins rushing towards the crack in the wall. The rats splash down in front of them, blocking their path. Rocco falls as he tries to run and fire, while the rest begin hacking and slashing. Nex attempts to amplify sounds, but his lack of training leads to trouble. The sounds and vibrations are transfered into the ground, causing the cavern to begin to collapse. Unfortunately for the adventurers, the pile of dead dire rats block the exit from the catacombed area. Meanwhile, these rats don't seem to be affected Icu's illusion, due to their massive size.

Succession game is where one person plays a fortress for a period of time, then saves the file and sends it to the next person, who plays it for a period of time, and then passes it on again, until the fortress explodes or they get bored. :thumbup:

I will start that right after I eat lunch. The last session was only half a session though. :P
