I don't think so. Just affects the DC of the saving throw. IP and Port?

Napoleonic Hegemony
May I send some scouts to find out army composition/size? If so, I send scouts to find out army composition/size.

Napoleonic Hegemony
Oh Dusty, what's that green nation that is west of Kazakhstan (not the bright light green, but the green that is slightly ligher than Russia)? It's smallish, and borders the water that Russia and Persia border, but not the Ottoman Empire.

Dungeons & Dragons
Sorry for the double post, but what time approximately are we starting?

Napoleonic Hegemony
Okay- Agricutlure Rifle/musket improvements Steam power/Railroads (When it gets to a certain point, it switches over) Naval Research Mass production (Hopefully lowering cost of soldiers by a bit for their equipment, and lowering cost of artillery) Two thousand Lancers are transferred from Siberia to the Western front, just incase. ----

Dungeons & Dragons
I forgot which spells I used. When can we play?
-
Napoleonic Hegemony
I'm hoping this doesn't turn into a game about technology. That is why I am asking Dusty for a list of fields, so I can just invest in them all and not have to worry about it.

Dungeons & Dragons
Well we might take a while to get out of those purple shadow thingies.

Dungeons & Dragons
It is August 1st. Can we pleeeease play? :D

The Back Room
The user interface! Tis terrible!

Napoleonic Hegemony
I'm sure that Dusty doesn't want us to search for everything we want to build. The reason we're even doing an older time period is probaly because the technologies won't get out of hand. I am willing to pay at the beginning of the budget period to stay with all trends (basically catch up no matter what, unless someone invests a lot more), but since he introduced it in the middle of a budget reset and I hadn't calibrated the rest of my budget to it, then I have to do this until we get our next budget reset. Also, I can't think of all the fields. Agriculture Industry Artillery - Guns and Cannons Steam Power That's basically it.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
If I were a girl and someone told me to hide in the closet, I would expect to be kidnapped. It's a closet. :-#

The Back Room
I have officially given up on Dwarf fortress. After being pampered by Simcity and Age of Empires, I can't stand their user interface. I got as far as having my dwarves randomly walk around. Meanwhile, I figured out to resize my avatar. Blatant Star Wars parody ftw! :D

Sitcoms of the 80s and 90s
I've watched Keeping up Appearances a few times on PBS. There's also this wierd one about the French resistance and a hapless bartender, but I can't find the name of it.

Napoleonic Hegemony
Quickly, hide the money in our offshore safe deposit boxes and Swiss bank accounts~!
-
The Back Room
It's like the story about the other fortress where they could only keep engraving pictures of burning dwarves or dwarves being killed by elephants. Why can't dwarves ever carve propaganda? :(

Castle Dynastys
Could you change the font for the gold? It hurts my eyes just looking at it. :S

Napoleonic Hegemony
Though you kinda have to do it that way. I was paying money to keep up with the world, but if there's no world to keep up with yet... Besides, Dusty was always saying I'm be slammed by random events, so I have to prepare for that by utilizing my best resource (hoards of money).

Temporary Dungeoneering
-Edel Edel reaches the fork in the road that everyone arrived at before. -Cavernites The catacombs seem to start only ten feet above the water line, meaning it would be possible to climb up the catacombs if the first level is reached. Earth reaches the other side of the cavern, which seems exactly the same as the area near the crack. Nex slams his staff into the wall, and almost instantly, dire rats begin leaping out of the catacombs into the water. The murky water immediately begins to splash. (Gotta go for the afternoon, but I'll be back later. Oh Ross, are we doing that DnD session today?)
-
Temporary Dungeoneering
-Earth There only seem to be the catacombs and the pool of murky water. -Nex The vibrations from the staff are muffled by the spongy ground, though it does emanate through the water. Nex can't tell if anything happened though. -Rocco Rocco spots some moving shadows in the catacombs above. When he reaches the center, the water is up to his neck and he has to hold the torch straight upwards. Nothing seems to be amiss. -Edel Edel reaches the road heading to the town again. -Ross Ares detects a faint swirling of air through the catacombs on the side of the cavern nearest to the crack, around the cavern, and into the catacombs on the other side.
-
Temporary Dungeoneering
-Crackers The group reaches a hive-like domish cavern. There are hundreds and hundreds of catacombs on the ceiling and the walls. Ares detects that the water depth increases the further towards the center of the cavern. -Theros Theros awakens on the surface, where a team of clerics work to heal him. Other than a wooden holy symbol around his neck, nothing seems to have changed. "Welcome back to the light, disciple of Ceres."

The Back Room
Does anyone have a dwarf fortress wiki I could look at?
-
Temporary Dungeoneering
-Cavernites Ross and Rocco enter the crack. It seems to extend for at least for a mile. The sound of running water can be heard. A cleric manages to patch up Theros with a healing spell, but since the location is underground, the spell is only half effective and manages to correct his ribs, though his internal organs are still hurt. The clerics and wizards seem unwilling to enter such a disgusting location. Icu jumps down the hole, where he sees a huge cavern with a pile of stone in the middle (where you land) and murky waist-deep water all around. There is a crack on one side about the height of a person, but waist down is water. There is a huge sewer grate on the other side. -Edel The boar starts to follow you.
-
Temporary Dungeoneering
-Cavernites The monster resurfaces next to Theros, before swinging its arm into his stomach. Theros' ribs are crushed and he begins coughing up blood. Rocco fires two fire arrows. One of the arrows miss completely but the other hits a patch of swamp grass. The fire spreads throughout the swamp monster's body. The monster makes a last ditch attempt to kill Theros before it perishes, but Ares manages to change the pressure around the monster, making it miss Theros' body and instead hitting his left arm, which breaks. Nex makes an attempt to disrupt the monster with sound waves, but the monster merely wobbles in place. Meanwhile, Earth binds Rocco's wounds. The monster loses its structure and collapses in a muddy heap. +0.1 Air magic to Ares +0.1 Archery to Rocco +0.1 Medic to Earth -Edel When Edel awakes, the boar seems to have finished what remains of your clothes, aside from the iron chainmail. The boar is sleeping blissfully near the tree where you found it. -Icu The innkeeper seems to be outside in the peasant square, watching the sinkhole which manifested in the square during a festival.
