True Ownage V The British Elites ___________________ TBE approached us for a couple of days prep, we accepted and agreed on these rules: Matched Opts, CWA Classic | Center Boundaries, Melee and Binds allowed, Offensive Magic and Ranged not allowed, No corrupt, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Sunday 9th May, Time negotiated: 3:00PM EST. ___________________ We pulled 20, which was good for a Sunday at this time, and TBE pulled 18 so we had to drop 2. True Ownage Starting: 20 (dropped to 18) The British Elites Starting: 18 (dropped to 16) True Ownage Starting: The British Elites Starting: ___________________ We went into the war outleveled but knew we could still win. We K0ed our first pile whilst Tiedog tanked solidly for us giving us the lead. We went and got a k0 on a binder, followed by more fast kills to gain a 2/3 man lead. Superior tanking and binding meant we kept expanding our lead despite a far boundary, and overall a really solid performance capped off a fine victory for us. Was a big improvement on recent wars, very happy with the final deserved score. Good job all! Looks confusing to what happened and why, I don't think Sol or Gladz would ever crash on purpose so probably a big misunderstanding. Really nice opts CR for a 5 min prep. :thumbup:

What's so ridiculous about them? Levels are also beneficial in all styles fights too, when you have several 99 Rangers compared to the few some clans have you're at an advantage already. Yes they're more fun and more unpredictable, but I don't really enjoy all styles fights unless it's a CWRI/PKRI with high numbers and fast transitions. I personally feel an all styles 20v20 doesn't really get the best out of the clans, but it's the way forward for every clan really in being better tanks, hybrids, and so on. I wouldn't say Melee and Binds wars are ridiculous though, I think that's a bit farfetched.

I had just figured out about clan wars and started clanning in the old w67, which only had 30 people there at a time but it was my very first starting place of making a clan and having fights. Then I found out w141 was bigger and started clanning there, and eventually joined Infinitone's cc and stayed loyal with him till he made Legendz official, where I became an Advisor (General), and went onto be a Co-Leader pretty quickly. Not the greatest starting place, but I wouldn't swap it for anything. :grin:

What styles does your clan normally fight with? Melee and Binds. Would you be willing to fight with more styles added into fights (should you usually limit your styles to say melee+binds only)? Depends who we're fighting. We prefer having a fighting chance against better clans in Melee/Binds rather than all styles, plus the members enjoy Melee and Binds more in the fights we usually do. If we could pull 30-40 then we'd definitely do a lot more all styles wars. What is your opinion on this topic (was I out of line in anything)? Nope, although it hasn't convinced me in any way, lol.

Hopefully next time we fight it can be on time so members won't have to leave during the war. Saw and took pictures of the sniper cap being broken several times, but you guys can have the win as you ended solid and outperformed us. :thumbup: We had a dc at the start as you said, followed by 1 at 17-18. We've been really unlucky recently but this weekend both our pulls have been at least 20 so improving steadily again. Gratz tDD. :wink:
