I'd say use an SS, but a Dragon Scimitar+Rune Scimitar is almost as good. Always use a Rune Defender over a DFS unless you absolutely need the defense, or are fighting Dragons.

Yeah you can. With a higher Runecrafting level, you now have a chance of getting double or more runes at a low-level. I would assume somewhere from 77-81.

Like it's been said before, Dragon still has it's uses in P2P, generally for new players(med Helm), but also as a status symbol for wealth(plate and Full Helm), and even used by high-levels(Platelegs and Skirt).

Are thrownaxes decent range weapons? I've never given them much thought seeing as they're somewhat hard to come across.

DKS are well over a mil an hour at your levels, and Barrows is a nice option too. GWD is a bit more riskier, but it will get you 100M faster, if you're relatively lucky. Do DKS if you absolutely don't want to do GWD.

Well, if I remember from the old Tutorial Island, Firemaking was supposed to be so you could cook your food anywhere in case of emergency. Nonmembers use it for fighting Lessers on Karamja, they need to fish their food and cook it on a fire.

It is much faster than banking at Draynor however.

Personally, for information, books are just outdated. Yes, picking up a book now and then for knowledge is generally beneficial, but not as necessary in our modern era. For entertainment, I don't care much for books. Probably cause I grew up watching T.V., reading comic books and anime(<--- I don't count these as books), reading story doesn't really entertain or fascinate me as some people feel they do. I will always prefer the movie over a book, there are just some things pictures can say that words can't.
