I'm 17, heading off to college next year so I wanted to have a sweet set up going in. I've got a friend who said he'd help build it if I got the parts I needed first. I know the general parts I need, just not how they mesh together. Like I know I need a motherboard, but I don't know what type of ram goes with which one. My budgets around $1,500

I'm starting to build a desktop computer and I've never built one myself before. I'm hoping that someone here can tell me which parts are the best/most compatible with the others. I'm not sure what to look at after these two parts lol. I want around 12-16 gb of ram, and like Two Terabytes of harddrive space. (I'm a video editor and a gamer so the excess ram is a must for adobe after effects)\ Any info is greatly appreciated

The current "President" (or whatever their top leader is called) declared a state of emergency in 1983 and took power in what is basically a dictatorship and has held it for the last 30 years or so. I don't know what has sparked the recent initiative unless it had to do with Egypt trying to either ban the internet itself or sites like twitter and facebook.

What do you guys usually wear to School (Note High school or college). I'm curious what others have been wearing, I've been trying to get noticed a bit by dressing snazzier but to no avail yet... BTW Lent, I wore a pocket square for the first time at my state We The People competition. I'll never not wear one with a suit again.

Some strategies from my schools dart wars (Same thing but with nerf guns) Camp out before school, that was when we got everyone. Finding out peoples schedules/work shifts were key to victory, a lot of people got tagged after their shifts. Effective Disguises staying in peoples neighborhoods were epic too. If you were walking a dog around a neighborhood dressed in a hoody and etc. Or walking around dressed super fancy with a girl like you were two lovers on a date. Both of these worked for me pretty well. The best thing though is to find out your opponents schedule, watch their facebook, find out practice times and etc...

No, that is 100% correct. It HAS simplified social interaction, but in the grand scheme of the world and it's history, that's really unimportant compared to the large potential market for businesses. And don't say anything about Facebook being evil because I never did nor did anyone in this thread. And about the losing passwords: PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Live with it. I disagree, facebook has brought many people to the internet who previously wouldn't use it. That is what it will be remembered for. How many of the over 60's currently on the internet have started using it because of facebook? It's a little like the Wii, it is looked down upon by gamers, yet it has brought massive amounts of money into the business and many people into the gaming area. Mass appeal has made Facebook massively influential in society and communication. The problem is like facebook, people will slowly start to use it until so many have that it's ineffective to NOT have one. I don't want everything linked together, that'd make it that much easier to steal...

My biggie is piercings, if we're including that in the style and all. Piercings on the ears are ok, maybe one or two. But anything on the face, to me, is just plain gross... Belly button is something can I can deal with but is preferably not.

I have a 2008 Mac with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM at the moment, but I'm planning on building a new desktop computer (PC or Mac is unknown at the moment) and I have recently gotten a Samsung 23in HD LED monitor for Christmas and I'd like to have my tv playing through that, so I can sell my tv in my room and free up some space. So the big question, what TVTuner stick that will connect to a usb port is the best mac and pc stick? For a coaxial cable input.

Picked up two pairs of jeans today from Pac Sun for $25. Nice pairs too. Also got some belts from JCPenny and some nice long sleeve dress shirts from clearance. I love the Clearance section at the larger retailers, you can usually find some nice stuff there.
