if you just solo, boss monsters are extremely easy wear Zephryium or Argonite equipement (which are common rocks to find during the dungeon) If you need to learn the skills, do it solo for awhile, pick up every item you can, and store it in the first room, items don't disappear when you drop them (except burnt food), so don't worry about loosing them. It doesn't take long to figure out which items are worth keeping, which items you should leave on the floor, and what resources you should be using. If you have any experienced friends, play some rounds with them, maybe you'll get a good Gorgonite weapon to bind. Binding an item means that you'll always have it when you start a dungeon. You can Bind one item and one set of ammo (runes, or arrows) at low levels. Also, a random note. If you drop items that are in the same group (food, metal ore/bars, hides) together on one square, it will sort it for you, putting the lowest tier items on the bottom of the pile, with the high tier items on top.

My pile of Fire runes has been decreasing ever since I got 93 slayer. Just a thought....

Takes like 5 minutes to make money for zeph, which has been more then enough for me to beat a Behemoth. While I do agree spending an hour making money is worthless (especially since you should be getting stuff for armour through the dungeon anyways), does he really have much of a choice for the Behemoth?

Make better armour and better food. If you need to make money there, buy rune essence and make air runes. Sell the runes to the smuggler. Make Salve and Glissle potatoes+. Also, when you find those torn bags, keep them. They're used to make BoB familiars. Also, magic familiars seems to help a lot on Bohemoth, so make one of those pouches, and make the scrolls with it. TBH, I've never had any trouble with this guy, I guess your dungeon hates you and isn't giving you any items to fight with.

It's only worth getting if you have a lot of money sitting around, and you're actually going to use it sometimes.

I'm pretty sure that isn't true. Isn't it the other way around? As in it needs to be your last hit?

you could honestly do it in full d hide, with a granite shield. It's more about your strategy then your gear.

when I do spirit mages, I wear Slayer helm Zamorak Stole Pros top Monk robe bottom D boots Whip Rune defender Soul wars cape I personally kill saradomin mages, just because I don't like using prayer potions, so I'll use the Saradomin Boss alter (it's easy to find a world with people there), it also makes my Titan more worth using since if I was killing Zammy mages, I'd only get 2 hits from his spec and it'd be dead :rolleyes: Anyways. Zammy mages are easier to kill with less HP, which means a much faster task Sara mages have a 'slightly' higher drop rate, and often are fighting other things (note: I'm not talking about the Mages in the main area, I kill them in the encampment)

Ok, so I've run into a bit of a problem while doing my Solo Dungeon runs. Ever since I've gotten to the subterranean levels (just below ice), I will often not get any prestige points. I've tried resetting my progress and starting at a lower level like level 10 (I can do up to 15). For the first two or tree levels, I'll prestige, but after that I constantly get Zero. Can anyone explain a way to fix this?

the thing is though, the Promethium maul is a tier higher then Gorgonite, and so many bosses seem weak to crush anyways. If I ever find a Promethium Spear, I'll bind that without question for sure. I was just so hesitant to do it with Gorgonite since Tier-wise, I had a better weapon. I'll probably re-think it if I ever come across another gorgonite spear. But for now, I'm not disappointed with with my Maul.

well, due to lack of impatience for an answer (just wanted to get the dungeon done) and extensive testing (3 monsters) with both weapons, I've decided to keep my Maul until I somehow get my hands on a Promethium spear instead.

Well, I've just gotten a Gorgonite spear in Dungeoneering from a Hobgoblin. Now I've had a promethium mual binded (got from a random trio run with friends), should I keep this or switch to the spear?

Are you serious? I thought they were very well done.

you might wanna wait till you have a higher magic and defence level before you try tanking their hits. They'll hit pretty often, so you're going to need a good bit of food.

The Slayer Challenges are a bit random, but overall not bad I suppose. They're a bit on the easy side though, other then Sumona's Kalphite Queen challenge, none of the other ones are even worth considering moderately challenging. I expected something better from a Master like Duradel. But hey, it's extra XP and points, and something different. The change to the rewards price.... :thumbup: Now I just need to actually start playing this mini-game skill.

I personally find slayer very enjoyable, so I say do that.

you can do monkey madness, even without 43 prayer. Not sure on Isle, I don't remember much about that quest.

No we haven't, we've worked out there are better ways to train separate stats If you ever plan on training slayer, then do it now On a casual day, I'll do a farming run between every slayer task.
