12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
Hardly a mistake considering if it turned out you didn't like the maul, a promethium spear is easy to get if you find a good smith. (how is the maul though, in comparison to the spear?)

Longbow sight worth it?
It's not useless for f2p, it'd be good for Pvp rangers, since the next best thing (maple shortbow) is almost completely useless against even the lesser rune armour pieces (med, chain, sq) But I suppose that is the only time it's really usefull

Papayas
hunting Pawyas making spec restore healing at bosses (using a fruit bat) protecting palm trees selling for money (don't use papayas for super compost, just buy Watermelons or Pineapples, they're cheap.

Yay for binding two items. Now I just need to get Sagittare as my Boss, so he can drop me one of them tier 11 bows

Daemonheim Monster Weaknesses
guard dogs are weak to range (which I assume means Stab as well) Hydras seem to be easy to hit with crush (I do use a promethium maul though) Zombies are also weak to magic (I can hit them while wearing a Plate body and plate legs Obviously Forgotten mages are weak to range Spiders are weak to crush skeletons are weak to crush earth warriors are weak to crush Male Warriors are weak to Crush (and mage) Female Warriors are weak to stab (and mage) Keep in mind none of those are from extensive testing, just what I've seemed to notice.

Longbow sight worth it?
it would only be worth it if you're fighting something that you have trouble hitting with a cross bow. In other words...it's not worth it. It would only be worth it for Non mems, as that high range accuracy is amazing in terms of F2p I would honestly like to know where people are getting this 700+ max hit with the magic longbow from. I am 95% sure you cannot hit this high, unless I'm missing something, like the Sight increases range str.

spirutual mages question
wear high prayer armour with a zammy item (like a robe bottom, or unholy book. If you have a fully grown Zamorak Hawk, that is also an option) Go to the Zamorak area and kill them there. They have the lowest def and hp, so they're the fastest to kill. Just pray mage and kill them. There's also the option of killing the saradomin mages in the main area but you would need both a zammy and saradomin item, and the task would go a lot slower. The only Plus side is you don't use prayer. But the increased speed of the zamorak mages is more worth it.

what to do???
Yes, many people like to find out more about something before they take the time to gain access to it. Now looking at the stats in your sig, I can't imagine why dragons would take up so much food (assuming you're talking about green dragons), wearing an armour set like torag would allow you a full inventory of hides/bones just off like 10 salmon (most likely less). Don't worry too much about dying, just make sure you have a games necklace in your bank, so that you can quickly get back to your grave if it happens. If you really want to enjoy Slayer, you'll need to suck it up for a few tasks until you have enough points to perm cancel and regularly cancel a bad task when it comes up.

dungeoneering foragers
I've always wondered this about summoning in Dungeoneering. What do the Forager familiars forage? Is it worth it to make them and have one follow you through the dungeon? I tried looking for what it does, but since the skill is so new, there isn't really information about them that I could find so far

Dungeoneering Summoning
you only need a secondary and charm now. This makes those random obelisks you find useful now, since you can get say a megaleather torn bag and a blue charm from a drop...instant BoB right there as long as you find an obelisk.

Whip Drop Rates
Wow, I'm so unlucky then, I've only ever gotten 3 whip drops

what to do???
I say suck it up, do your task. Then use a Slayer Master that does assign dragons often or permanently cancel them. (what's wrong with dragons though  ) For farming, you can plant Toadflax, limpwurts, and willow trees, these all make decent and easy money (leave your willow trees up and cut 6 branches from them every hour or so. Once you can spare 1m+, put money into Miscilanea Manage Thy Kingdom. Set as many workers as you can on Herbs, then the rest on Maples. (you need to have done Throne to Miscilanea and Royal Trouble for full access to the Kingdom). You make a lot of money from there considering there is only about 5 minutes of work involved (not even that)

Well, I don't know if anyone has a tried a solo trip with a rapier yet with the same levels. I still say Longsword would be better because I'm pretty sure Bandos is weaker to Slash then he is to Stab.

if it's 1/600, then teams I've been on get VERY lucky. Meh, a little entertaining glitch in the dungeons. It actually happened twice that dungeon.

Best wep for dungeon?
the B axe would be better for monsters weak to slash, what makes the spear so good is that it has all 3 attack styles, and monsters in dungeon have very profound weaknesses. Zombies are MUCH MUCH easier to hit with slash then with crush. Ice monsters are MUCH MUCH easier to hit with Crush then with slash. It just makes it easier when you learn the weaknesses of all the monsters, as it's good for nearly every situation. It also helps that it can be poisoned.

Whip Drop Rates
the only situation were drop rates are altered is the charm rates of monsters in the Chaos Tunnel compared to those out of the tunnel. Otherwise it's just random luck.

Mastyx's: The Xp Trap?
regardless of whether it hurts your xp to kill them or not, it's better to hunt them anyways.

Best item to bind for f2p?
if you're a meleer, a good rapier/spear or platebody (try to get a spear first) Mages a Bryl top, and a binded stack of death runes For rangers. a dromoleather body with a stack of fractile/kratonite arrows. Keep in mind you can bind a piece of ammo AND equipment, so even if you melee and have a good weapon binded, you can still bind a set of death runes.

getting bananas
if you're going to pick your own bananas, stand between two trees and alternate picking from them. If you pick from only one tree, there is a delay and you wait like 3 seconds between each pick. But if you alternate, there is no delay. In the long run though, it would probably be more time efficient to do Bones to bananas.

Metal Drags
It's more then slightly when you cast 10k+ spells.

Dungeoneering.
Yes I'm sure items don't disappear, and as to it being really worth it or not?.....beats me, I do it because I find it fun. And you could try playing with friends who are equally as new to Dungeoneering as you, might make it a lot more fun tbh.
