  1. cannoning the cave crawlers in the Polly slayer well is the fastest effigies in the game.
  2. For crush, Skeletal Wyverns, but tanking them without a DFS/ele shield isn't really reccomended. For slash, nothing to justify slashing with a rapier, but Dark Beasts are weaker to slash then they are stab, but not by much, so stabing is still better
  3. Not really, it's a gamble when you think about it. Using a Novite Hatchet (or marmaros), you might only get 1 log from a tree, which is the last branch. Also alching the items quickly at the start could save time later if you need to gather coins for an altar later, because sometimes monsters are just greedy. I'm thinking we should just end this staff discussion, because we're honestly talking about seconds lost/saved here, it's not worth such a long discussion.
  4. I suppose that makes sense (I did always use Super though, I knew about farming before starting it on this account :P)
  5. Actually, it does increase your Max crop yield...however it doesn't increase the chance of getting higher yields, or reduce disease. It doesn't, I can guarantee it. The average herb per patch remains constant all the way from the level you can grow the herb to 99. I and many other 99 farmers who grew herbs the entire time can confirm this. If the possible max increased you'd still see a slight increase in average yield, which you don't. Meh, i've noticed the occasional higher yield as my levels have gone up, that I never got as a lower level.

  7. I'm not sure what planet you're from, but there's never enough on the table for everyone in my team to get a toolkit and enough ess for laws and cosmics, let alone a log too. Or do your teams not use gatestones? two of the people I dung with have laws bound, and I make ~5 alch spells to alch the tier 8s, I have more then enough for ess and logs.
  8. if there's 5 players, there's always 5 tier 8 items, all which sell for enough to buy a toolkit+1k log each. Not everyone mages anyways, you really should only need enough for 2 people at most.
  9. You still need to find the extra 1k for the log, which early on is often not much easier than finding a grave tree. You pick up a katagon weapon...and sell it....
  10. yea...I was confused by that as well.
  11. I bolded the Key word there.
  12. I don't get it...you got on a slow team...k.
  13. new skills can have high level requirements, but old skills cannot? :-k Every skill has high level stuff, i don't know what your talking about. Yea, like firemaking!!!....wait....
  14. When did I say updates had to be catered towards me? All I said is that if it's a low level update that doesn't benefit me, I'm not going to use it. Sonik said it's sad that high levels don't use low level updates, and I want to know why that's sad when I already have better options.
  15. should be in questionaires, but to answer anways.. I wouldn't want to be someone else. A max or rich player would be boring, there'd be nothing to work for A famous player would be annoying having tons of noobs following you around
  16. i guess I might as well be added on there. Sir Izenhime P2p
  17. how do you gate to the leader...when there's not group gatestone?
  18. Quick question...how do laws help C1 rushing? There's no group gatestone in C1 (or I've been blind), and for personal gatestones, you use cosmic, not laws.
  19. Except I don't care about any of that. In the time it took me to do a crappy quest, I could be making money or getting more xp then the quest would give me. I'm also not interested in a quest cape. You still haven't told me why it's sad though that I don't partake in low level updates.
  20. oh, runecrafting altar...I was thinking of the ones you restore prayer on
  21. what did the altar have to do with that... I know it wouldn't be necessarily tedious, but as far as I can tell, this thread is about maximizing Dung xp, and taking the extra time to make a better staff for situational use sounds questionable to me.
  22. seems a bit of extra effort for situational maging. Wouldn't you save more time just buying enough for a fire staff at the start, rather than looking during the dungeon, cutting it down, then going back to the stat room later to make the staff, just for a damage boost that will only be taken advantage of on a few monsters?
  23. Why should I do a quest that gives me a reward which is worse then something I already have? Why is that sad?
  24. There's quite a few reasons I don't, and they're all personal reasons. The main reason is because I want to limit my activities that I can do in this game because I kinda want to quit, but I like to keep playing to achieve goals. The less things I'm able to do in game, the better it will ultimately lead to my boredom. Also I still have a runescape classic mindset, where everything was hard and you did things with little help. I just don't like how summoning raises your combat level when you're not using it; it feels like a misrepresentation of my true abilities. I mean, I've done so much without summoning that everything I do is already second nature. I have better stats for my combat level that the average player. Plus, in the things I like to do summoning isn't a necessity (you don't NEED summoning to slay at all, its just convenient). Sure its inefficient when it comes to slayer, but if I wanted efficiency I would've turn to melee :shades: Who said anything about slayer? Summoning isn't only for combat. I will say I like your answer though. I'm happy it wasn't "I'm a pure and don't want the extra levels in Pvp".
  25. also when you consider there is no good reason to not train it.
