  1. Got from an Ectomage (level 77) Holds 7 airs 1 death 1 blood per charge Runes in box CANNOT be used for anything BUT surge/wave spells (so no venges with the deaths in the box) the box MUST be held for the runes to count I DID NOT need to unbind my body/b axe to bind it, but a friend of mine says he cannot bind another item (like a weapon or armor) with it. If you bind extra runes (over 125 worth), you will keep those binds for the next dungeon, HOWEVER, if you use up enough surges to go UNDER 125 charges, you will still start with 125 next dungeon. It gives a +7 magic attack bonus. Not great, but if I'm not mistaken is the only shield to give a mage attack bonus in damonhiem (correct me if I'm wrong) I did not notice any extra damage, but really wasn't paying attention for that sorry :P Lol at shrunken bind I'm happy.
  2. Unless you find it fun.
  3. Can't wait to get one
  4. Sooo...I can bind 125 Fire Surge CASTS now?
  5. yes, but it's more random on players
  6. the blast box has a hidden effect, every 5th spell cast on an NPC does extra damage. I've yet to use the surgebox
  7. SurgeBox, looking forward to my next ice stryke task.
  8. depending on the mage attack bonus of the box, I can't see how it wouldn't be nice for mages. Saves space and does more damage.
  9. not everyone use runewiki, and I was too lazy to check the thread to see if anyone posted already.
  10. Blink Drop [hide] Blink drops longswords, to beat him, you raise the pillars in his way, then start attacking. I honestly could not figure out which prayer is best. [/hide]
  11. ^umm....No Oh come on, there are 2 of us on these forums, and no one even knows how to pronounce our names....... Ok, here goes. My name, from Lord of the Rings: Peregrin Took. He is Frodo's friend, and gets captured at the end of the Fellowship of the Ring, and finds his way into Fangorn, with another hobbit named Meriadoc Brandybuck. They chill with the Ents for a while, and then join in when the Ents attack Isengard. In the book, Peregrin Took is commonly called Pippen, or Pip. Meriadoc is called Merry. The other "pere" on these forums is "Peregrine", as in the peregrine falcon. (note the "e" on the end, he did the 1-click summer garden guide) <-- (pro guide by the way) Pronunciation: In game, my name is "Pere Grin". I am commonly called "Pere" (pronounced something like "pair" or "pear") in game, and sometimes called "Grin" for whatever reason. And the people who I normally don't realize are talking to me because they are calling me "Peter" or some other misread of my name. Ask Peregrine how to pronounce his name. But in game, both of us tend to go by "Pere". And yeah, its Off Topic pretty far now. But I really had to straighten out the name thing. Sorry guys :/ And the Peregrine Falcon is an awesome bird btw, as anyone who has read My Side of the Mountain can attest to. Could have just told us how to pronounce it, instead of going through all that, sorry I didn't know how to say your name ('cause it's totally relevant  )
  12. I think it's pronounced like Pierre...like pee-air.
  13. [hide] The big bang theory is the fun part, the yew longbows are just there. You don't see me going watching a movie commenting on how fun it was to sit in the seats and eat the popcorn, its the MOVIE thats fun, not random filler crap that you decide to do while watching the actual fun thing. Thats because (from my limited TD knowledge), TD's actually require a degree of human interaction to kill, as opposed to watching the same 20 second loop go 300 times with a minimal of mouse movement. But you can feel a sense of achievement from anything in life, so its best not to complicate matters by including a sense of "achievement", Thats because having a good time with friends actually IS fun, fletching yew longbows for X hours is not. Its not fun, period. If it is in anyway fun i could probably attribute that to external stimuli like talking to friends or watching a movie, in which its still not fun, its the external stimuli which is being fun. [/hide] Did you seriously just tell someone that what they find fun isn't fun?
  14. clans are basically the only way...you're never going to be able to tell the general mass of people the best way to do it....just look at slayer, people have been using DFS's since they came out, and many think it's the best thing to use.
  15. this is already under discussion on this thread http://forum.tip.it/topic/273056-discussion-update-teasers/
  16. hi

you aren't being accused, you're being informed, and directed to other pages so you can learn where to post what.
  17. 45 minutes to an hour. We do it more as a casual thing to do. We don't clear dead ends, but everything in between we do. We just find it more enjoyable than rushing, it feels more relaxed to us.
  18. Yes, but hood still drastically reduces the damage you take because you can selectively kill monsters without having to worry about the others. For example, in a room with 5 forgotten warriors and 5 forgotten rangers, you're a LOT better off with the hood because you can kill each individually rather than praying range and tanking the melee. My only issue with this is....that situation never happenes....as well as when it comes to occult floors...your hood just isn't as useful anymore. There's more monsters in occult that can just plain see you, as well as there being mages scattered around like hotcakes. We have someone in our team who does have a hood (he's the keyer), and he uses more food then everyone else, who have prom bodies. We've also grown used to luring/tanking monsters since we're always killing them. we take out the threats within seconds, and leave us able to pray against one style and be fine.
  19. Yea, my f2p dungeoneering account (has ONLY done DG for his levels) has real trouble with the Furnished floor bosses. At level 40 cb, I get level 79 runewrites, 89 rammernauts, 69 saggitarres. It just doesn't work for me. The only bosses I can kill on solo runs is Rammernaut with magic and runing, and stomp, whos level 57, which I still need a full invetory of flatfish+ for.
  20. I know most say hood...but I don't rush....ever. I end up fighting all the monsters anyways, even if I was wearing a hood.
  21. I am actually interested in a Sag body. Just going by the occult floors, there's A LOT of mages. I was considering at 100dg, binding a Sag body (if it's dropped by a low level new boss), and primal legs. Is there any merit to this idea? (I don't do rushes, the team I go with actually clears most of the rooms, so an SS hood isn't as useful for me) Ideals may change once warped come out of course.
  22. +9 level mod? L0L. [/hide] Some people actually like killing monsters. Like me and the friends I Dung with. Whats the point of killing it it just makes it slower, I thought the point was to get higher exp/hour  'Cause it's fun to me :P Hate to dredge, but because two guys were duo'ing the boss (rest don't know how to/have bad connection), the rest of us went to mod. Is that normal? It's normal to kill stuff if there's nothing else that needs to be done. A high level mod while rushing is very rare though.
