  1. That wasn't proof, and I'm not going to start this all over again.
  2. Thanks, but I've already done that
  3. Ok I lied, I did come back. It would have been great for you to mention that you actually did test this. I was never told you did, if I was, I would have believed you. See how simple that would be? I like Mr RSKB fanboy btw. Insults are the best way to get a point across, aren't they? I didn't know calling someone stupid was being polite. I did end up trying it out myself anyways...care to take back this? You know, this all could have been ended from the start had you simply said. "I tested this awhile back". Instead, all I got was a link to the Tip.It range guide, and insults because I put my trust in Jagex. These forums get better and better (they honestly do actually, stuff like this is so much fun to read through, and reply to). Keep up the good work guys
  4. Full Saggitarian + Hexhunter I just like saggitarian equipment because it's fun to fight shades, mages, necros and books with no prayer, and just watch them splash
  5. I honestly didn't understand the spider puzzle, I just randomly clicked until I got it. Was there supposed to be some sort of pattern to it? Or did you just need to click different spiders to get it?
  6. At least I actually did something to prove it, rather than just blindly calling someone an idiot. And don't use membership as an excuse, because to be honest, if you aren't even physically able to prove/disprove something, you really shouldn't be arguing about it. I still think trusting the KB over a fan-made site is generally your best bet unless the fact in mind is actually proven otherwise. I won't be looking at this thread anymore. Don't bother replying.
  7. I'll consult your guidiance first hand next time, oh great know-it-all  Just sayin'...that sounded very arrogant.
  8. the new sound effects are annoying as crap.
  9. I wouldn't really use guides yet on Elites, since so far no guide has told me where mine are, we just don't know how many spots there are yet.
  10. your proof is about as good as mine so far. You have no proof that it IS 100% accurate other than a fan-made site. I have no proof it isn't 100% other than my interpretation of what Jagex has said in their Knowledge base (which has been right EXCEPT for issues of dungeoneering) Neither you nor I have done anything so far other than blow smoke. Don't be hypocritical, we both haven't done any proving here. Edit: So I had nothing better to do and decided to do a little self-proving. I wore what ever negative range attacking armor I could find, got some bronze arrows, saradomin brewed to 1 attack, and used the spec on the Kalphite Queen first form. Both attacks hit, so you are correct that MLB spec is 100% accurate (or I got astronomically lucky both hits). However, the majority of my statements still stand. Some proof would have been nice, instead of flaming and calling me stupid.
  11. unless they've changed it in the past year, you can't help someone if you've already done the quest.
  12. I never said it was an argument, I just said I wasn't going to do it  I also didn't know that fan-sites where always correct either.
  13. Might as well as Hero's quest there as well. But they give you a forum to look for players, I've never personally had trouble finding someone. If you want to make it easy on yourself, get into the black arm gang. Most people get in the pheonix gang, since they can without any help, so people are always looking for Black Arm gang members.
  14. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that the Magic longbow spec was designed to always hit. EDIT: It's right here on tipit. How nice, a one line statement on a fan-made site with no proof to back it up. I won't doubt the MLB spec is 100% accurate....if you show me proof. Until then, the safest bet is to trust the KB. So chaotic crossbow is +100 range attack and the staff is 15% damage? right... If you trust the KB, then, i'm sorry, but you are very stupid. In any case, it would be just as impossible for me to prove it to you as it would be for you to prove i'm wrong. Also, the KB does not specify if the hit is 100% accurate or not. I knew you'd bring those up. You see, the difference here is that it's actually been proven wrong. There is no proof ANYWHERE that says the MLB spec is 100% accurate. So until then, what am I supposed to trust? A fan made 1 liner? A person who doesn't even has a source? Sorry but no, until proven other wise, I'll be trusting Jagex. Are there any other specs Jagex have gotten wrong? If not, why should they mess just this one up? (the Chaotic crossbow DID have 100 range attack btw) It's strange, I see so many people around here asking for proof on topic of real importance, and they actually get good answers, yet I ask for proof on such a small thing in the game, and get called stupid for trusting the makers of the game. I'm not stupid, I'm just looking for proof. Last I checked "a greater chance" doesn't mean "You'll always hit" I can think of two monsters that this would be perfect to test on. However, I do not have an MLB, nor plan on wasting time trying to prove/dis-prove something that doesn't even matter.
  15. He doesn't have turmoil
  16. nobody really hunts cave horrors. even if they're a few hundred K, that's not enough reason to hunt them off task. And kuradal and duradel and lapalok don't assign them as a task. as for fury, the price was raised from 270k tokkul to 2700k tokkul additionally you can only collect tokkul from monster kills and tzhaar minigames. You can no longer get tokkul by selling stuff (such as death runes) to the shop. That would do it. I'm guessing the same thing is why Whips are now more expensive as well? That's mostly inflation
  17. I'd bring back when people stopped thinking of themselves, and automatically label updates as bad/useless when it doesn't benefit them.

  19. why not just steal from the bots in the chaos tunnel? It only takes one or two good hits to steal a kill.
  20. you're right, if you have no proof Magic Longbow always hits, then there is no comment needed. As long as I get some proof that Magic Longbow spec is 100% accurate, I'll agree you're right. Until then, I won't believe it.
  21. [/hide] Dark Bow and Korasi says hi. He said the dark bow at the end of his post. There has been a 100% accurate weapon from almost the start of rs2, from the time special attacks were released- magic longbow. Though yeah, SGS spec is anything but 100% accurate. "This attack uses the full power of the longbow and will have an increased chance of hitting your opponent" Taken from the KB, I didn't know 'increased chance' meant 100%

  23. I would guess MTK since he has a nest pile going as well.
  24. Maple Longbow sighted bows are good for F2p when attacking high def monsters, other than that, I think Jagex got it right :P
  25. 750th task, and a d sq half that task
