  1. You meant 2h right?
  2. Get 68 summoning, then you can sell your SGS, since any use it has after that is gone (unless you have a waterfiend/zammy tanking fetish) A good setup that I used for the longest time was Slayer helm Bandos chest verac skirt d boots fury barrow gloves soul wars cape whip rune defender Since you're working for 99 str, buy a Saradomin sword. But once you have 99, sell it for a whip and a Z spear. If you find yourself still needing healing on slayer tasks, work for an enhanced excalbur. If you don't need any extra healing at all, opt for an offensive spec weapon, at your current budget, there aren't very many options though.
  3. when you fail a door with the gatherer's ring on, the damage the door would have done to you is halved. Take the Thorny Vine door, instead of hitting say..a 300 on you, it'd hit only a 150 if you had the ring on. As for you question, it's basically been answered. For general use, the 2h and battle axe (when using tier above the 2h choice) are both good, depends if you want 1h vs 2h. Spear is good if you don't use any combat rings Another thing to consider, are you just going on random teams, or do you have set people you dungeoneer with? If you have set people, you could choose a weapon based on what your team mates use. If everyone else is using 2h and battle axes, it'd be a good idea to keep your spear, or even go for a rapier, so you can stab monsters they'd have trouble hitting.
  4. I don't think soloing a large floor where the monsters are meant for 3 people, and the possibly of not even completing them is what he had in mind. Other than the server lag issue, I can't see any reason why not. It wouldn't be as good xp as teaming yea, but it'd still be something different to do with your time instead of smalls and mediums.
  5. As much as I agree with the above two posts, let's not start another arguement on this thread....
  6. Better idea, buy the yak hides from the Shop on Jatizo, the building with all the food in it, the person sells 1k a day. The swamp toads would take an hour to collect on your own
  7. wait...what? Steel titan is higher level than pack yak
  8. The only Godsword that was ever useful to me was the SGS, I used it regularly for slayer before I got a bunyip, and I still use it at places like Dagannoth kings, or when I'm tanking Zamorak Godwars.
  9. Could you please quote me where I said they had to help combat? Something untradable made with one skill could make another skill faster, better money, easier to train. You seem to assume exclusive content is only intended for combat. Hey, if they can find a way to make something exclusive, while also increasing the profitably of other skills, that's great, I won't complain just because it didn't help me kill that Dragon faster.
  10. The dragon full helm.... Oh, and people who randomly know your stats because they looked you up, seeing if you had good enough stats for their effigy
  11. No...we make the high level stuff, that people actually worked for, untradable, so they're more exclusive and actually worth training. But keep the lower level items tradable, so they remain in the market.
  12. For the butler, the floor does not matter, the bell helps so you don't need to go off finding him when you first enter your house, but simply talking to your butler will make him follow you, and when he returns from the bank, he returns right next to you.
  13. have any friends you could dungeoneer with? The main pro DG clans look for 100+ now, and you can't just randomly apply to get in either, you need to show them you know how to Pro Dung Rush. You could try world 148, it's a bit better than 117, but it's been slowly going down.
  14. It IS however, a magic based attack....I don't know if prayers reduce the damage at all though, all I know is TD's completely protect against it when they protect from magic.
  15. the OP asked for a setup to kill them. He got his answer, as well as everyone telling him they aren't fun. OTHER PEOPLE brought Fun into the topic, not the OP. All I'm trying to point out is that you can't simply tell someone something isn't fun. You can tell them what to expect...which has been done very well already, but not tell them they won't like them. I wasn't the first to bring up fun factor here. I'd also like to know how Lord's post was a troll...he's right...you use a stab weapon, and wear magic resistant armor...
  16. Dont you try and use logic He was just saying...gosh, whats wrong with you people? >.> Whats wrong is that people have to [bleep] over how efficient other players are... It's not their account so they really shouldn't give a [cabbage]. It wasn't even about being efficient, he just brought too many anti-fires....
  17. sorry, it's still subjective. I know a friend who liked to camp them. I don't know why he did, nor did I care. He liked it so he did it. I'm not saying to Unlock them for kuradal to assign (when did I ever say this? I'd love to know), I'm saying to randomly gear up, and go try them for a half hour or so. If he doesn't like them, then he shouldn't unlock them. If he does, why shouldn't he unlock them? It's just another task for him to do that he enjoys. Fun is subjective, try them out, if you hate them, don't unlock them. You have your info in this thread about why "MOST" people don't like them. Go from there.
  18. so, since you don't like them, that means no one else will? I happen to like Wyverns myself, they have good charms, are profitable, and don't take very long since you don't get assigned a lot of them. I'm not saying Aquanites are good, I agree when you take charms, profit, and xp into account, they're the opposite. But to display them as being purely unlikable....no, you can't do that, because what people like is completely subjective.
  19. no one is contesting that we are just stating FACTS about aquanites - obviously what you block is up to you and we cannot control that the facts are that aquanites are objectively inferior in xp to all of kuradal's tasks (except mithrils), as well as being subpar in gp and charm drops. Sure seemed like xpx was.
  20. even you yourself once said that the perfect perm block list are the ones you hate most. I see nothing wrong with telling someone to try them once (not unlock the task though...), if they really like them...I don't see anything wrong with it.
  21. How are they fun? They have really high defense, are very far apart and hit for alot of damage(and all of this assuming maxed stats/equipment)? Not a good task by any standard. Subjective. It's always a good idea for people to try a task out once, because some people actually find them fun.
  22. well, you can't use a cannon in the slayer cave, and that's the only place they are.
  23. you can't cannon them.
