I remember I lost mine, I just had to keep killing them. I got mine after less kills, but I'm sure you're just having bad luck. Keep killing them, and hopefully it works.

Ice strykewyrms and blue dragons are faster with fire surge. Just not chaos rune spells <_< Ice wyrms yeah, and yes Rex is faster with magic, but I guarantee blue dragons are faster with melee. I agree, hitting dragons with your fists is a much better option than throwing painted rocks.

Honestly, how do you really know that a user is AFK'ing? Perhaps that person you've seen fishing, that won't talk to you is not AFK, maybe he/she just doesn't want to talk, the same goes for WC. That person you've seen at bandits for 12 hours; maybe they really are there. Staring at the screen, watching their experience go up, and like the fisher and woodcutter, he/she just doesn't wish to talk. My point is, you never really know. Unless, as stated, it's been two days and the person is still splashing that spider. That's different.

I'd guess it to be an issue of people just not wanting them. Supply and demand. I honestly have no idea how the Runescape economy works, because I don't delve too far into it, but that seems like the only reaosn that would make sense to me.

I only did the quest recently (i did quit for a while afterwards). If you have the requirements for the quest, DO IT! The spell book is seriously useful, good for money, too. Filling vials can be a good mix between cash and magic experience. You can also humidify instead of alching. You just get a fishbowl, put it underneath where the humidify spell is (so if you didn't move your mouse you would click in the same place) and then use the inventory switch hotkey (F6, i think?) to empty the fishbowl, then use humidify to fill it. The experience is better than alching, as you can empty and cast again before the animation finishes. It is around 3gp per 1 exp, which is a reasonable amount considering the speed. 25,000 bots eh? wut? Presumably by bots you mean the kind of machines that work 24-7? so at all times, 10-50% of the runescape population currently online is nothing but clay mining bots yeah, uh huh :P humidify is humidify, humidifying clay will eventually get to the point that it is roughly on par with the profit from filling empty vials and such. the reason this method won't last, is because the market for it is tiny. Just how much clay is there in the economy? it just doesn't have the "market inertia" so to speak, to sustain itself. I better get to mining clay then, I need to satisfy the market!

Draggle uses rune and he's 138 combat! Yeah I was thinking of getting torag's as well, but then I didn't get it cause i was thinking once i get more money i'll want to upgrade to the next best armour and so on and so on, which is why I was hoping to get the best i can now. I'm planning on holding on to the whip though, but is it good for training defence? And I meant to fix my sig weeks ago but I got lazy, i'll do it now i guess haha. And thanks a lot for the quick response. So knowing I'm going to upgrade eventually, should i still get torags? what about dharoks? I think Dh, is around like, 11m, or something...? I don't think it's worth it ;)

It seems that you've come quite far, but regardless, I must agree with Atom. EDIT: somewhat far.

Just get some Torag's. It's got very nice defence bonuses and it's moderately cheap. You can also go for Verac's if you wanted, I believe the whole set is only around 7-8m. But honestly, Rune is fine, imo. And keep the whip ;) You might also want to fix your signature, add the other bracket ( ] ) at the end of your [/img]. :)

I did steel dart tips to 70 Smithing and feathered them to make back about 3/4 of the cost. Crafting I'm unsure about, however.
