  1. I find maul better for solo if you don't use AHK. Because if you're switching too many things you can miss a hit.
  2. Barb fishing while low alching the fish is awesome semi-afk exp while watching TV or something. I really recommend it especially if you plan on afking other skill like wc or mining.
  3. Get a rapier, it's not like you can possibly regret it. Use the tokens you get later on more niche chaotics.
  4. I'm surprised Villandra/Slayerbelle/Lorica aren't mentioned more here, what she did on those accounts is pretty damn impressive, especially when everyone thought it was impossible.

I'm pretty sure it's still illegal. There's some cheap knock-off brands, but Absinthe itself is still illegal; you'll have to smuggle it in really well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absinthe#United_States I was going to type up a whole bit about absinthe but Wikipedia seems to have its facts straight so theres a link. I've got a bottle of 80% "Absinthe" in my room which is essentially just 80% aniseed flavour spirit coloured blue, but due to the lack of guidelines for what constitutes Absinthe, the company can slap a label proclaiming the drink is absinthe even if it technically isn't. Also, most of the myths about it have been blown way out of proportion (ie, the Thujone in it makes you hallucinate, it has THC type properties etc). So this means when I pass through Europe I can't pick up a bottle to bring home? Awwwwwww.. Yah, the wormwood doesn't really make you hallucinate, it more just gets you [bleep]ed out of your mind. Still, fun to have around, really a drink for lovers when you have the proper glasses, spoons, sugar.

I'm graduating from an American school in the Middle East so they insist on guards. The guards only have 1 clip in there semi-automatic weapons though.
  8. In the long run that will hurt you, you should only be making untradeable potions.
  9. Cannoning will speed up your slayer exp but replace hp/melee exp with range exp. Still totally worth it.
  10. ^^ Love Tool with a passion Listening to the atm; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhTxWgcxfiE
  11. Perhaps you should train combat a bit more before you start dunging. Training doesn't take very long when you are at lower levels and dungoneering really isn't designed for players at lower levels.
  12. For hundreds of years people have immigrated legally to the United States. Why does this one group of people think they are so damn special that they can circumvent the entire system? Immigrants are great, illegal aliens are leeches. You know who must really be pissed off? The people who spend a few thousand in legal fees to legally immigrate. The people who apply for visas and get turned down in embassys. I mean, I've volunteered during the summer at a counselors office in an embassy. the visa process is pretty rigorous, we don't let just anyone get a visa. But here is this one group of people who think they are special, it really irks me. They think they don't need to go to an embassy or consolate and get a visa. But their behavior won't change, to solve the problem the US needs to be proactive. I think some of the following might work as solutions; 1. Go after employers. Make employers liable if they hire illegals, this will make America less of an opportunity for them. 2. Being born in America shouldn't make you a citizen. This is an outdated law that encourages parents to sneak over so that their children will be American. Once they have American children then getting rid of the parents becomes difficult. 3. More value added tax, perhaps replacing income tax. This would force illegals to pay more taxes, however the economic implications could deem it to be a bad idea. 4. Require extensive proof of either citizenship or legal status to register for public schooling. 5. And of course, the most effective measure would be more foreign aid to Mexico. We give Israel and Afghanistan over 300$ of aid per person. Jordan, Gorgia and Namibia all receive around 140$ of aid per person. In contrast we give Mexico about 4$ of foreign aid per person. Total aid to Israel = $2.5 billion Total aid to Mexico = $500 million So much aid is dumped into countries that need it less then Mexico does. Stepping up both military and economic aid to Mexico would help combat illegal immigration and the drug trafficking epidemic which is a whole different problem all together. If we build schools, help create jobs, create stability through destroying the cartels, people will have much less reason to even immigrate illegally.
  13. TDS, DKS, flipping, my secretish moneymaker that I don't want to get too popular. All better then Frost Dragons at the moment. TDS are only better though if you value the charms and effigies.

You guys can get into school after hours? O.o Btw to the whole thread: England sucks. Yeah, but then again, a typical English Secondary School's idea of a prank would be to smash all the computers and graffiti death threats to the Headteacher =/ Pfft, you'd knock over a trash can and the police would then be called in. Well, it was hard, we aren't supposed to be getting in. My school actually has armed guards around it. But what we did is we went in for extended library hours and then after hid and chilled for a few hours until everybody left. Did the prank, got some sleep in school and in the morning pretended to have just arrived.
  15. I think it's part of the social contract between citizens and the government. If the government is going to be giving services to citizens then the government should have the right to know who they are and especially if they are even citizens. If a citizen wants to remain anonymous then that's their right, but should they receive anything from the government they contribute nothing to? I don't think so. Citizens pay taxes for schools, public hospitals, infrastructure. Citizens vote. There should be a system in place to ensure that citizens are primarily receiving the benefits. And centralization of identities would help all sections of the government from healthcare to law enforcement become more efficient in the long run.
  16. Dungoneering while hardcore herb farming, by the time you have all the chaotics you want you should have a decent cashpile. Goodluck.
  17. If you have a yak you should have space for a decent number.
  18. You're not quite in the endgame yet, you will know when you get there. But yes, it is very fun, at least I find it to be fun. Minigames, bosshunting, dungoneering and perhaps a little skilling. But I don't feel a drive to really grind anything anymore which is great.

Monday everyone got to school and found 50,000 cups of water covering all the walking space in the halls and stairs of one building. Took five of us almost all night to do. Pretty funny thought, nobody could get to class and administration just went "wtf". Got the idea from some guys on youtube.
  22. Don't get my hopes up.
  23. Let me make it clear, I'm not against immigrants, I love them. I just think all immigrants should go through the same process to get into the country. But that's a bit offtopic... Grants don't require SS numbers in California anymore. Neither does highschool. Hospitals are required to treat people without insurance, they mainly just need an ID. It has actually become an issue with hospitals running out of funds and shutting down due to having to treat so many people without insurance.
  24. Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't need an SS number for highschool registration, lowered tuition or hospital visits. The difference is mainly centralization and limiting benefits illegal aliens would receive from the state.
  25. A national identification number or National Identity/Insurance Card number is used by the governments of many countries as a means of tracking their citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents for the purposes of work, taxation, government benefits, health care, and other governmentally-related functions. Sometimes, the number will appear on an identity card issued by a country. In the United States we have a social security number, however there is no centralized system that links it to everything else like a National Identity Number would. I personally think it would be good, especially for limiting illegal aliens who are a drain on resources. As part of the social contract the government needs to know that the people it is providing services for are actually citizens. A National ID could help centralize this sort of information. For example in order to register at a public highschool or get instate tuition in college a person could be required to present their national ID, same with getting treated at a hospital, or even obtaining a driving licence. What do people think about United States adopting such a system? Do people in other countries find it to be successful or limiting? What do other Americans think?
