(None of this is mine) Dungeoneering Guide by 0xpx0 Preface: This Guide is aimed at reaching 33 dungeoneering within the shortest amount of time on an otherwise maxed account and no pre-obtaied experience items. The guide: Starting out at Lumbridge home teleport. Climb down to Lumbridge basement and enter Lumbridge swamp caves. Run to Juna and do Tears of Guthix D&D. You need to score atleast 199 tears to be successful. Assuming you managed 200 tears, you will gain 1880 dungeoneering xp, getting you to level 13 dungeoneering. (estimated time 4 minutes) Next, teleport to Edgeville and enter Edgeville dungeon. Run to the north side of the dungeon, enter wilderness and enter the chaos druid resource dungeon for 1100 dungeoneering xp, you have now reached 2980 dungeoneering xp and level 16 dungeoneering. (estimated time 2 minutes) After that teleport to Falador and run far east to the drawen mine entrance, and enter the dwarwen mine. Run west and enter dwarwen mine resource dungeon. This will grant you 1500 dungeoneering xp for a total of 4480 xp and level 20. (estimated time 2 minutes) Teleport to the Grand Exchange and run southwest. Use your muddy key to enter Edgeville dungeon hill giants. Run further south-west and enter hill giants resource dungeon. This will grant you 1600 dungeoneering xp for a total of 6080 dungeoneering xp and level 22 dungeoneering. (estimated time 2 minutes) After that complete the Penguin Hide and Seek D&D. With good knowledge of penguin locations(using a specialised clan chat or group for it) and available teleport items this shouldn’t take you long. Once you have gained 16 penguin points, use elite Ardougne cape to teleport to south of Ardougne and run north to Larry. Cash all your points in for dungeoneering to gain 8800 xp. You should now be at 14880 dungeoneering xp and level 31 dungeoneering. (estimated time 12 minutes) Next, use use your glory to teleport to Karamja. Run east and enter Karamja volcanoe. Take a loop around the lava and run south-east to enter the lesser demon resource dungeon. This will grant you 2100 dungeoneering xp, pushing your total to 16980 and level 32 dungeoneering. (estimated time 2 minutes) For the finishing touch, use your ring of kinship to teleport to Daemonheim. Run to the south-east point of the peninsula and enter the maple/willow tree resource dungeon. This will grant you 2400 dungeoneering xp, pushing the total up to 19380 and level 33 dungeoneering. (estimated time 2 minutes) Congratulations, you are now the master of smart leveling dungeoneering and have reached your goal of 33 dungeoneering in an estimated time of 26 minutes. In all honesty, I would advise everyone to not do actual dungeons before reaching level 50 dungeoneering, thus continuing with resource dungeons/tears/penguins until that level. At level 50 dungeoneering it is actually realistic that you would start dungeoneering with other people and learning the ropes of how to become a great dungeoneer.

The whip isn't obsolete, just not really the best anymore. The chaotic rapier is now best for most combat with the maul and longsword having niche uses. For slayer you would want a rapier.
-
Here is the thing about dungoneering. It is the worst, most horrible skill until you hit around level 70-80. Then it starts to get fun, especially as you start teaming with other people who are good at dung. The weapons you unlock from it are pretty much needed at any PvM.
-
Soaking is more or less negligible. Right now it is too low to ever be significant. We also have a new boss, Nex. A new skill, Dungoneering. A new class of weapons, chaotic weapons.
-
Blocking them is actually best. Even with the elite clues they aren't worth it due to poor effigy drop rates and slayer exp rates. The opportunity cost of doing them is too high.
-
They have higher chances but you kill them at a much slower rate. I've gotten lots of very valuable drops from the low leveled revs. Heck I know a friend who got VLS from an imp. This makes it better to massacre the low leveled revs then spend time and food killing fewer high leveled revs. When I go rev hunting I pull in at least 3m/h but sometimes up to 5m/h if it's a good time of day. I run a circuit killing all the low leveled revs. It goes from west to east, imp, goblin, goblin, icefeind, vampire, hobgoblin, werewolf, then I run over to the east side and kill imp, goblin, goblin, pyrefeind. Also, a maul or godsword are the best weapons here because you want to KO them before they can eat up. Don't forget to make an inventory of salve amulets (e) and keep them banked so that you can use one for killing them. And Jennicas ring never hurts. Goodluck, if you have any more questions ask me.

I bring a bunch of random stuff to black demon slayer tasks (herbicide, infernal urns, holy wrench, spec weapon) I also have two extreme atk/strs + cannon/cannonball, slayer ring and a house tele and a bunyip pouch. The rest of my spots are used for prayer pots. I find that I cannot pray piety + protect def for a whole task without having to bank. I can either protect the whole time and pray flash piety or just take piety off towards the end. I'm not extremely far away but with 0 prayer - I don't think I can tank more then 1/2 black demons before having to port out. Maybe it's because I have a low prayer or maybe it's some other reason but I definitely cannot finish a task leaving protect melee/piety on the whole time. Well there are multiple solutions to this problem, sorry if I'm going off topic here in advance. First, you could learn how to peity flash and then you would save a moderate amount of prayer. I don't know if it would be enough to make it all the way through your tasks. Second you could take a terrorbird rather then a bunyip. You are praying anyways and not taking damage so those 12 prayer pots would help a lot more. A slayer ring is never really needed, with a calculator and some scrap paper you can track your kills using a pencil and scratch paper along with your slayer exp. So that would lessen your prayer usage while giving you a number more spots for prayer potions. Really defense isn't actually needed anywhere in slayer.

Inb4sailing And nice texture. Edit: #-o Nice one Cheeesy

For every 1k logs I run for you can you collect 1k frost bones for me? We can swap services like that! It will be fun!
-
I'm not advocating using a torso, but there is just no place where the defense is needed. Even at black demons you can easily pray with no cost.
-
There is a sticky in this forum, I suggest you check it out.
-
Defense isn't every really needed though expect for a few high level activities that the op couldn't do effectively anyways.
-
I gave you good advice, nobody is going to do the work for you, running planks is one of the grindiest things in the game. Make money and buy the from the GE or do them yourself.
-
Solo Dungeoneering not bad as people make it out to be?
Nifflin replied to Anon523's topic in Help and Advice
You can skill while waiting at deamonheim in the DGS cc. I've gotten tons of levels in other skills like that. Much better then soloing or dealing with derp teams. -
Nope... Nope, nope, nope. Run them yourself or buy planks from the GE.
-
I would get t9 zerker after rapier and before rigor.
-
Agility tasks wouldn't be a horrible idea if we had more courses and they required different approaches.
-
Some people still use whips while cannoning in multibecause chaotics degrade really fast on tasks you cannon. In this case which is best depends on the opportunity cost of using one on such a task which varies from person to person.
-
Titan healing is really expensive, also titans do less damage. For general multicombat a spirit daga will serve you better. Perhaps in some situations the titan will be better.

I do five minutes when I wake up in the morning, it's really easy to add into your routine. I actually developed my weird schedule of logging in many times per day for short periods of time during restricted trade to flip. I feel bad if you've invested into snaps and ranarr, they are really crashing.
-
Yep, you're on the right track. Personally I do a lot more herb runs then that per day. I so 6 or so. It's not too hard as they only take five minutes so you can log in, do one, then log straight out. You can also superheat gold as you mine it, just FYI.

old noob looking for advice from you young pro's
Nifflin replied to nakunaru's topic in Help and Advice
Yep, zerkers quest all their defense and that leaves them at 45 defense. If you already have 40 defense then becoming a zerker wouldn't be a good idea as you wouldn't have access to the stuff other zerkers do. -
And by joining a mass they mean joining a mass and leeching off it. Honestly your best bet is to get 80 attack and a rapier and slay your stats up a decent bit. If money is what you're looking for then raising stats will give you more money in the long run then bandosing.
-
The opportunity cost of doing frosts for range exp is pretty high for someone with your stats.
-
I'm moderately sure it's an even distribution if you get a large sample. Thirty is a small enough sample that it could appear that some are more common then others.
