Dude, your pet totally wants to nail you. best... pet... of all time. of all time! So Jagex is good at comedy, but bad at game continuity. This seems wrong to me.

What if World of Warcraft WOW was free?
It may be simplistic, but I think the best way to seperate WoW and RS is WoW = group play; RS = solo play They're not even similar in game play, ignoring solo/group things. They are seriously completely different games. It's like comparing Mario Kart to something like Forza as they're both racing games. This is true. WoW is a much more in-depth, intensive game. One of the many reasons why I don't play it.

That is because Tip doesn't have the flood of users the way the RS forums do. It is also much better maintained. I think long ago Jagex threw their hands up in the air trying to deal with the posters. And oh yeah, their forums are awful. The whole layout is terrible. Their is very little user support. It's just crap.

What if World of Warcraft WOW was free?
Are you saying that Runescape lacks adequate content for end game play while the rest of the game is geared to driving you to those levels that have little purpose? This is a 2010ers argument      Doesn't sound like an argument to me...sounds like he's actually supplementing your argument. To me it sounds like he's saying that end game content/levels is pointless but the point is the actual leveling to that 99. Such as saying ivy was a good update for woodcutting because you can level faster, yet there is still no real reward to level for. I was saying the game is geared to grinding your levels up, but once you get the high levels they serve little purpose. It's like climbing the stairs to a really high floor of a super extravagant mall and the top floor only has a Jamba Juice and a Baby Gap.

I sure hope so.

Jagex has many resources devoted to help the new players. They don't need the forums too. This just makes the RSOF that much more difficult to use.

It sucks. That's what it does. We can't figure out yet exactly how much and how often it sucks, but we do know it sucks.

yes, I agree. Plus I'm not that interested in the boss specific ones, simply the chronicles. -edit- I don't need pics either. Simple transcripts would be enough for me. :)

I second this, and all the other notes please  Yes, something. I can't believe I can't find them anywhere else.

Game Update Delay
LOLs [spoiler="Nuclear Waste"] Like that? The people who bug me far more than the piss+moan are the ones protecting JaGEx and scolding the others ever so "riotously." They're really only doing it to be combative. This was the most universally anticipated update this season, which needs to be understood better by the above mentioned. Yes, it will be next week. It will be a week later than it was supposed to be. Yes, a week probably won't kill most of us. However, if you don't care [when it comes out], you have no stake, and you have no say. To be honest, the only thing that needed to be said was, "Oh, darn..." and the current under-title of this thread. Only criticism I have is that they didn't catch it earlier. You'd have thought they would have. Reminds me a bit of Dung when they completely missed that they didn't update the Token system. Maybe they can add something like they do to wrestling shows? "Card/Content subject to change"

Spears don't work with new rings?
Anyone else think Jagex is being run by Vogons these days? BTW: Vogons

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
Well you were raging earlier. Members should get higher XP rates, I don't know why this skill should be any different than the others. I think anyone playing RS spends too much time around 12 years old TBH and up until that post, nothing you wrote could have been seen has constructive criticism. You know as well as I do that removing impossible doors would mean faster floors and in the end faster XP. The only way to balance a solution like that would be to reduce the Xp rewards. Just a patch that would change nothing to how fast or slow the skill is trained in F2P. I wasn't raging. And I'll take a reducement to exp if they'll change the doors. There is a way to do it. Simply doing nothing is the laziest option.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
Would I like it? No. I don't think removing it would be that big of a deal. Are you saying that removing the flaws of the skill would ruin it? Members already get much higher exp rates. I don't think that giving f2p a chance to get all that it can is that big of a deal. Maybe my solution of simply removing them isn't the right way, but the way it is now isn't the right way either. And who's raging exactly? I think you've spent too much time around 12 year olds to recognize constructive criticism and open discussion.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
This is rather hilarious. It would be very incompetent to give F2P better xp rates because they have less skills for challenge doors. Don't worry mate, I forgive ignorance. They already have different rates of experience. Simply substituting F2P skills for members skill doors on F2P servers is how it should be done. That's not ignorance. I'm not saying that if you can't put a Thieving door that a skill door shouldn't be there, I'm say a Mining door should be there or some other F2P skill.
-
19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
I can forgive mistakes. I cannot forgive incompetance.
-
19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
That's still crap. F2P already has a exp cut in Dung. No reason why people on F2P should have doors that require us to use members skills to open. I mean, I can let go of the higher level doors, but a F2P getting an Herblore door on a F2P server is just bullcrap.
-
19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
So they're just steamrolling over fixing it so F2Pers stop getting members doors or doors requiring higher levels that we can't open because we can't use herblore to boost?
-
19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
So will F2P stop getting doors that require us to use members skills to open and thus deny us our rightful exp bonuses? I'm tired of that crap.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
I don't really mind honestly. Remember that they said in the Dev blog that they were trying to complete the solo dungeon saves in time for this update; so we can only assume it isn't quite ready yet. Personally I don't mind another week for me to save up tokens for the ring update. Me either. I'm simply griping at their misdirection about the update being planned instead of saying it's being pushed back a week.

Um, yes there was an update planned this week or you wouldn't have revealed the teaser pic. Jagex just can't get it out this week, but they couldn't admit that apparently?

One question
I dunno. WoW can make you travel pretty far sometimes and it takes forever, especially on foot.
