  1. Everyone is a noob/nerd/both. Excluding me, of course, as I have a life and a girlfriend. /standard response In-game
  2. Roger that, thanks for the info. I did an aquanite trip and yes, they are terrible for charms. Waterfiends it is.
  3. Ive heard aquanites have the 3rd highest drop rate of blues(behind dark beasts, which I dont have the level to kill, and bork, obviously) I also know for a fact that waterfiends have a high crim drop rate. Now, I know how to kill them both just fine, having done so many times, but I was wondering: Would it be better to get to kill waterfiends to 89 summoning, and than aquanites from 89 to 99? Or stick with waterfiends all the way to 99? (notice; I have 76 sum banked) Also, should I use that 'triple charm' reward from that summoning d&d for waterfiends or aquanites?
  4. erm....your 'calculations' are completely incorrect? Im sorry, but when a weapon has higher stats in every way than another weapon, it will kill faster. Its like killing a monster with a rune scimitar or a dragon scimitar: no matter what, the d scimmy will always perform better. Now, the performance to cost(or time) might be worse for the dragon than the rune, but the dragon WILL perform better, no matter what. The same applies with the cbows. Now, im unsure, but getting 'uber pro' at any anything normally means getting the best gear for the situation. If you 'pro bandosing', you arent gonna go in torags or dragon with a whip/dds, your gonna go with bandos, claws, and a chaotic weapon. Lol trolled. To the OP, not sure if I just misunderstood, but the chaotic crossbow does NOT hit higher than the rune crossbow. It's just more accurate. I could tell it was a trolling attempt, unsure why I typed that lengthy area out. I leave my sarcasm detector at home at times, and, well, since you cant underestimate a humans capacity to be idiots, I leave out sarcasm on the internetz.

  6. Frost dragons are epic money, im getting to 85 some time to kill them. around 19k per bone=around 1 mil per bob/inventory with just bones, not to mention rare visage/effigy drops and common noted high level herbs. It really shouldnt take that long for you anyways.
  7. rune throwing axe specials are pretty quick to draw the healers, as it bounces off targets.
  8. You always get the guide mode penalty, unless you are in c6, I believe.
  9. metal dragons?
  10. dungeoneering.
  11. Never go in w117, its one, if not the, laggiest world, due to multiples of people donig larges simultaniously. Also, soloing is, most of the time, quicker than teams for smalls, and sometimes meds.
  12. c1's take like a minute or two to finish...no reason to bind laws just for c1's.
  13. If you came prepared, you wouldnt have died, hmm? Dont blame jagex on your mistakes when its obviously your fault.
  14. Uploaded with ImageShack.us getting 82 in like an hour or two hopefully, than its time for hunter.
  15. I fail epicly at explaining prestige and what-not, but I think I can answer your other questions. Note that I kinda suck at dungeoneering, so take the opinions of a higher level dungeoneer over mine. question 2:The point is to kill the boss and move on. However, in higher level dungeons(meds, larges) bosses will be very high levels, and running in with little to no armor can mean a swift death, even with alot of food. Thats why people 'skill' and make armor/pots/etc. Also, people try to kill every monster(or at least many) because of the 'level modifier', which gives a percentage of extra xp depending on how many monsters are left at the end. The same applies for unlocking every room, even when you find the boss. question 3: floors 1-12, you want to do in complexity 1. It gives little xp, but the floors in general give little xp, and its better to get them over with. Floors 13-19, I suggest complexity 6 small dungeons. Rush them(do not kill monsters besides ones in guardian door rooms), and do not stop to skill. The boss will be a pretty low level when solo'ing, so a full set of armor is not needed. Floors 20-29, I would do mediums. either solo them, or duo+ them. A good medium will only take around 20~30 minutes, and get 10k+ xp per. Floors 30+, Do larges with as many people as you can. for general xp: Do larges for the top 3-4 floors you can do at maximum. This way, you can get higher dungeoneering that way, and get a very good prestige xp. Also, when doing floors, dont kill every monster you see. Attempt to unlock every door possible, but dont go clearing dead ends of monsters. That out of the way level 115 mage isnt gonna do you any good, besides waste prayer points. question 4:teams are always around, your not the only one starting late. Just look on the forums. EDIT: Ok. i understand. Except for this, what does this mean? It means that: for the floors 1-25, you should do small dungeons. This can be solo'd, duo'd, whatever. For floors 25-30, you should do medium dungeons. Those can be solo'd, duo'd, wahtever, as well. For floors 30+, you should do larges. These have to be 3 manned at the least(3 man minimum to choose a large) but its better to it with 5 people.
  16. Alright. Sorry to hear that doesn't work for you. :( Anywho, I asked someone else about the problem IRL. You might try disabling jusched(dot)exe from MSConfig during your next install attempt, as it is the executable for the Sun Java Scheduler. (Had to slap the censor in the face for it's stupidity, lol.) Also, don't forget to disable auto-updates in the Java Control Panel. Please let us know if that works. :geek: ~D. V. "Hadn't thought of this myself." Devnull [Author Note: Had a whole different post up before this.] Will do when i get the moment, thank you.
  17. older java versions run into a compatability problem while running runescape. computer still blue screens with older versions anyways.
  18. The new faces look rediculously humorous. EDIT:FML no alching arrows anymore :[
  19. world 117 isnt worth it at all. Go on the forums and look for a clan, there are many. I go by this method: F1-19=small complexity 1 rush. F20-29=med rush, complexity 6.(dont unlock the doors if you have already unlocked the boss room.) f30+=large rush.(unlock all doors)
  20. around every 3 skeleton kills, you can close a tunnel. repeat until they are all closed.
  21. yea, and 70+ mil=not poor.
  22. ill think it over, i might do nechs, mainly because you can break even with the drops+effigys+charms. Thanks!
  23. true, but im not really searching for them, it can take awhile to find some one to assist, and i can only do fletching(with a pot) because of my fail skills.
  24. wow, no need to ***** and moan about it. dont go calling me a 'froobcake' when you know nothing about me, and who cares if I waste money? Its my money, and i have 70 mil to spare on getting 99 range QUICK. My friend tried knives on yaks; he didnt get 270k+ xp per hour doing it in full void range.
